James Young shares vision of City of Refuge at Radio station and I Preach the Word of God in Quimistan, Honduras, Northwest Honduras

We head up the Road to leave the city and go to the TV Station Channel 3.

This is in Quimistan.  Lito, James and myself appear on Jimmy’s TV show on Canal 3 (open link to see station advertising).

Then after the TV show, go to my hotel to get ready for that night to preach in San Jorge, Honduras.

We will leave about 6pm for San Jorge where I will preach at 7pm in what they call a “Culto Especial” or a special service.  They will be petitioning the Lord for the things they would like to see Him do in 2011, and thanking Him for past blessings.  I will be preaching.  James forgot to take pictures so I don’t have any pictures of this church except later I do.

In the evening I preach the Word of God and minister to the people  in Camalote at Pastor Lito’s church at 6:30 p.m.

I am preaching at Litos church and minister to the people.

I’m preaching and Pablo is interpreting for me.  I used a lot more scripture to get my point across.

Place of Stay: The Place I Stayed outside of Quimistan, Hotel Don Miguel.  You can see the telephone tower down the street and that is how close Quimistan was from me.  I arrived in Honduras, December 29 to view the projects, church, pastors so that I can bring a team back either in November or December.

Agenda:  Wed. Dec. 29 -  We will attend a combination Baptism and Wedding in 24 de Abril in the afternoon and evening, but we may or may not go to Quimistan first, and get you settled into the Hotel.  I hope to give a short presentation of the Vision before the wedding starts, if possible, but other than that we will just be observing the wedding and taking part in the fiesta afterwards.

This is Lito the Pastor of the City of Refuge in Compolete.  He is an awesome man of God that has a lot of faith.  James Young lives with Lito and Yolanda who is his wife.

This is Welder behind the Truth of Lito — He is one of the grandsons of his daughter of Carolina.

This is the village of Compolete

This is going further down the street of Camelote

This is still on my way to the house of Lito and Yolanda in Camalote

Houses in Camalote

Children resting

Some people do not have showers and shower outside

This is still going down the street to Lita and Yolanda.  you can see the Cocanut Trees.  It is very subtropical here.

This is at Lito and Yolanda’s House.  You can see how close the Neighbors are to each other.  Each house has chickens and Roosters.

This is lito sitting in his chair.  You can see the door to outside.

This is another grandson outside.  They do laundry to the right and cook on the left.  You can see how close the neighbor lives from them.  All the houses have tin for ceilings.  That is the most expensive part of a house.

This is one of the church members who come to help out with laundry or cooking.

This is Welder being silly with the Pepsi bottle.
He is all boy and he was making faces at me and I was trying to get that face but kept missing it.

This is looking out their gate.  Two houses you are looking at and one you cannot see is further up the road.

This is looking down to further down the road at other neighbor’s houses.

You see the eating area and two bedrooms from the sheets as doors.  They have another.  The one closest is Lito and Yolanda’s room, the other is the daughter’s room and then there is another for the missionary James and …

The girls are doing laundry outside

Many of the church members help out.  To the left is the bathroom and shower outside the house.

They are preparing the New Years Eve fiesta and prayer vidual on December 31.  That is a banana leave they are pressing to prepare for food inside rolled up.

Chicken is one of  their staple food.  Everyone has chicken in their back yard

I did not have my camera with me.  It was in the Truck.

The Wedding took place at this Church  in the Town 24 de Abril - Baptism and Wedding — The Wedding was at night and was decorated inside with draps.

This is where the wedding and baptismal took place but it was at night.

About 4pm we will be leaving for La Flecha, one of our larger churches, where I will have a leaders meeting at 5pm and preach at 6pm a short message about the vision.  You will have a time after my presentation to preach your message.

Fri. Dec. 31 - This a great day of thanksgiving, because I believe this is the day the money will come in as prophesied. In the daytime we will tour some of the other projects and churches in progress and you can meet some of the other pastors. In the evening about 7pm there is a wedding for 7 couples in El Ocotal with a fiesta afterward.
Later in the night, from about 10pm until 2 or 3 in the morning we will return to Camalote for a “Vigilia” (Vigil). Vigilias are special. The Lord really moves after about 11 or 12 pm.

Sat. Jan. 1 — We go to La Fletch and visit David and take a care to the sugar cane fields and visit the 4 villages in the area.  Later, we go to TV station Channel 3 and we get hosted.  Lito and James share vision and I preach and the message goes all over the world but especially to all the Latin America.  We were suppose to visit the Christian Radio Station in Quimistan but only so much you can do in a day.  Then that night go to another town where I will preach again in a church.

I think it was Sunday I go to Quimistan by Taxi and shop for coffee and spices.  I meet up later with James.  He had a business meeting that morning close to San Pedro Sula in a town called San Jorge

In the evening you will be preaching in Camalote at Pastor Lito’s church at 6:30 pm.

I am preaching at Litos church

I’m preaching and Pablo is interpreting for me.  I used a lot more scripture to get my point across.

This was the original schedule.  Things changed.  Mon. Jan. 3 — This is going to be a busy but good day.  We will leave early for the mountain village of Atima which is in the mountains above Santa Barbara.  It takes about three hours to get there, and involves some pretty rough mountain driving on dirt roads.  We will minister in Atima and meet the pastora and see the church.
About 1pm we will leave Atima for another mountain village called Santa Cruz Nispero.  It will take us about two hours to get there.  We will have a meeting with the church there, and I will share the vision, and we will pray for the people.
About 5 pm we will leave to return to Camalote.  It takes about two hours, so it will be a long day, but I know you will be blessed.  You might want to bring along a bag of candy or two to share with the mountain children.  The mountain people are precious.
I ate breakfast at Pastor Lito’s house.  Then we went to visit the other churches in San Jorge and other towns.

One more church further down and then went to fruit stand to buy fruit and then to Lito’s house to have lunch and then we left for Quimistan to the internet bar and he met with architect on the plans for the tabernacle.

and then we went into Quimistan and went witnessing.  Two people got saved in 15 minutes and then a person’s knee was healed.  You could feel the heat and things moving around in the knee.  God is so good.  This man could hardly walk and was going to have to have knee surgery but God healed him.  He gets all the credit.

That night Lito and Yolanda and has surprise party for me and James and Michael.  They fed us, their leadership was there, they blessed me with blessings, read the word to me and prayed for me.  Prayed a good trip for me.
