“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.”  Sin, puts holes in our hedge for the enemy to bit.

Sin punches a hole in the hedge of protection, it is an open door to the enemy and we can get bitten by serpents (evil spirits).  The enemy wants to steal your possessions, peace, joy, your health, your emotions, etc.   Not only that, steal your children, etc.   The wages of sin is death especially to those into habitual sin according to Galatians 5:21Galatians 5:21

Before a Person Prays A Hedge of Protection for Spiritual Freedom

First, It is important, during morning prayer, to check your heart for any breaches.  For example, did you fall into gossip, accusation, used a curse word, go into bitterness, etc.  Take the time to ask the Lord’s forgiveness for your sins to close the breaches so that the enemy cannot attack you rightly.

Second, put on the Whole Armor of God daily.

Third, pray a hedge of protection around yourself, possessions, etc.  Ps. 91.  Remember the enemy wants to kill, steal and destroy.

Fourth, watch your thoughts and watch your reactions towards accusers, etc.

The Effects of Incest and Rape

Incest and Rape (Sexual Abuse) — What Comes In:

Any experience of sexual abuse is an open door to just about everything (bitterness, accusation, rejection, unloving spirits, fear, unclean spirits, shame and guilt, rejection, spirit of self-pity, self-hatred, etc.). What comes in from those experiences is fear and bitterness toward the perpetrator and against self.  There are feelings of unclean, unloving spirits from the perpetrator to the victim. The occult is  involve in the perversion. You got to get the person to forgive the perpetrator or abuser. If they don’t they will continue to have mental torment and harassment over the event. Matthew 18 is very clear that if we do not forgive, then you fight with torment.

The victim has shame and guilt and blames themselves for what has happened. It comes with the territory and includes self bitterness. Plus the unclean, unloving spirit (self-hatred) sets you up in victimization again. Speaking about the perpetrator, they almost always, (I suppose there can be exceptions), have sexual abuse and perversion in their background, in the generations.

Usually when a person is raped or lived through incest, they suffer from a wounded spirit. Father God wants to heal your heart. It is hard for a person who experience rape, to receive God’s full forgiveness because of the false responsibility. It is a lying spirit blaming you but it is not true.

The way to get rid of the guilt and shame, self-accusation and a spirit of self-pity is to have the victim repent for their participation in an unclean sexual act even though they did it against their will. The reason for doing this is to legally close the door on Satan so that he can no longer accuse you and make you feel shame etc. Now Father God certainly knows you were a victim and He does not hold you responsible, but the devil will use it to torment you so we want to close the door . And if he comes back after that, you can say that it is under the blood. I repented for that already.

Use Matt. 18:6–7Matt. 18:6–7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

[Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] for this and this is one time he prefers the NIV.

Also if the perpetrator is a family member and there is sexual sin in the generations, the victim can take responsibility for the family sin (generational curses) and renounce it in the generations and ask that the generational curse of it be broken. And of course the bitterness and unforgiveness and rage toward the perpetrator.

And you need to take authority over the mimes and break their power so that the memory of it will not stir you up every time you think of it. And if you can’t get it out of your mind then also break the programming that would take you back to that experience.

I worked at a job where there was a practicing witch and she did every evil thing to me. She would sabotage my job, hide my work, say false accusation, pray curses at me. My car got hit in the garage 6 times in five months and I knew it came from her.

The Lord told me to pray for her and at first I hesitated but lead me to Luke 6:27–37Luke 6:27–37
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. 30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

. I did it out of obedience and prayed for the person.

Through time my heart changed and my bitterness was gone. I had a new love for her. Through praying for her, God was protecting me. You see when we love, it becomes a shield.

She still prayed curses on me but they went back on her. When I had bitterness, the door was open for the enemy to have its way with me. When I changed my heart and dealt with the bitterness, the Lord could protect me.

I could feel 6 large angels around me protecting me. In fact a prophet told me he saw 6 large angels around my work station.

The greatest gift we can own is loving our enemy because love covers a multitude of sin.

1 John 4:7–131 John 4:7–13
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. is born: or, has been born 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

Love is of God. The whole essence of God is love. He loved us so much that he sent his son sacrificial lamb for our sins. Has any other god done this in any other religion? No.

You see when I chose to pray my heart changed to love my enemy. It was not easy and was the hardest thing for me to do. I had to come to terms that the Lord loves this evil person. She is his creation. God will never give up and give this person many opportunities to know him.

Jesus wants us to love all to show Jesus to them through love.

Jesus loves us first to save us, to love others especially the bad and evil people that don’t know Christ allowing Jesus love to love my enemy transformed me and my enemy until they get saved.

This means not to allow envy and jealousy to get in your heart, or bitterness, or accusation, etc. Learn to forgive quickly and pray for your enemies and watch God do miracles in your life.

Through loving the hard people, you will see favor of God everywhere you go.

I leave you with this.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

If we want signs to follow, practice the principles of loving your enemy and see the power radiate through you because of the Love of Christ is the true power that transforms lives.

Why Job Was Tested! P2

Part 2 — Door Opened For Job to Be Tested, Sanctified

One of his friends Elihu saw one fundamental flaw in Job: that Job believed that he was without original sin. Job was self-righteous. Yes, he was righteous as far as men are concerned, but he was not righteous as far as God’s concern. Elihu points out Job was a sinner like everyone else and is subject to the curse of sin which includes sickness and poverty.

Job 42:5–6 5Job 42:5–6 5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. 6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

WP-Bible plugin
“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear,But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” God here had done a work of sanctification and purified Jobs heart because it is written blessed are the pure in heart as they shall see God.” In the end Job healed and blessed twice as much after his trial. In other words, Job did not stay sick or broke. He was healed and blessed. Why, because he saw his self-righteous in him.

What is Sanctification? Sanctification is the result of being purified. When the contaminants, pollutions and alloys have been burned from our souls, we emerge from the furnace sanctified; that is, we now have a new purpose. Our part in the sanctifying process requires that we separate ourselves from Babylon and all that is profane, unholy and ungodly.

9:20–25 “Nay but, O man, who art thou that replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22 [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”
We Christians are a work in progress. The Bible calls it sanctification. God’s aim is to produce a vessel unto His glory. A vessel that others are able to see that we are the design and handy work of the Master Potter.
The Potters Clay

To start with, a potter needs a lump of clay and before he can make anything out of it, the foreign matter must be removed from it. Any stones, twigs or debris must come out. This analogy is very fitting as we know that we were made by our Creator out of clay. Ge 2:7Ge 2:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. of the dust…: Heb. dust of the ground

WP-Bible plugin
And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Ge 2:19Ge 2:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Adam: or, the man

WP-Bible plugin
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.”

Then the potter may need to add some water and knead the clay until it is pliable and ready to cast on the wheel. Having done this necessary preparation, the clay is ready to receive the shape the potter has in mind.

The potter must have a plan for this lump of clay before He ever places his hands firmly around it on the spinning wheel. In His mind he sees the finished vessel. Therefore, every touch and each tool skillfully used, contributes to finish His work.

We Christians are the clay, our God is the Potter. If we are to become useful vessels we must not resist His skillful hands at work. We must not flee from the pressures of life it’s significant part in finishing our vessel.

Some of the pressures which God exerts upon us are hard to bear, but is glorious of them is to make us into His image and likeness. God must remove the foreign debris first. The lustful sinful things of this world must go. These things in us are so much part of our whole lives, but how in the world will we be able to withdraw from the wrong course of life and the evil patterns we’ve always followed?

First, coming to Christ for the new birth, means changing are coming to the way we relate to this world. Many don’t count on that. They only come to Jesus for a fire escape from hell. But there is so much more to it.

What is our attitude during trials of sanctification?

James wrote, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patients. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (1:2–4).The word “count” here means “to consider,” referring a particular “attitude” about something.

The word “joy” (verse 2) refers to that which we delight in or are pleased with, and James even emphasized this by saying “all joy”; this is the “attitude” that James demanded Christians have toward their trials.

Paul was one of those who, though he suffered much (Second Corinthians 11:22–33), regarded it a joy worthy to suffer for God: he could be sorrowful, yet rejoice (Second Corinthians 6:10); this ability of Paul proves  our attitude has much to do with whether or not a test remains bitter or made  into something sweet.

Look at it that God is doing deliverance by removing fleshly thinking and wrongful attitudes.

Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:3James 1:3

12 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. author: or, beginner 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

WP-Bible plugin
“Therefore since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us and let us run with endurance the race that is before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfected, or finisher of faith who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

God desires to break our self-will so that we can be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Brokenness is the Lord’s method of dealing with our self-reliance that is within us to act independently from Him. Through adversity, God targets the areas of self-will in our lives. He wants to break the attitudes that do not honor Him—such as self-righteousness, self-reliance, and self-centeredness. The result is that He fills ours lives with spiritual fruit (Gal. 5:22–23Gal. 5:22–23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

What Was Paul’s Thorn on His Side?

The apostle Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” kept him from exalting himself, despite his impressive credentials (2 Cor. 12:7–92 Cor. 12:7–9
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Be Not Deceived!

Be Not Deceived and how to determine if bad or not:

This is what I use to measure as a method for discernment to not be deceived by others:

  • Who was the founder of this modality?
  • What was his/her spirituality?
  • What culture did it come out of?
  • What were their beliefs?
  • Who is their God or gods?
  • What is the message or true meaning?

History of Medicine

History of Medicine in Today’s World

We usually think of the origin of medicine coming from Hippocrates in Greece, but documented that the Egyptians practising pharmacology and medicine at 1000 years before Hippocrates.

modern medicine history

When you research history of medicine either Greek medicine, Egyptian medicine, Babylonian medicine, etc. you learn the origin of the logos for the American Medical Association comes out of occult origins.

The purpose of medical practice is to turn people away from God and the idea that disease is a result of sin — Deut. 28. This is bypassing the penalty of the curse.

So the origin of medicine is not a Godly origin. That does not mean to throw the baby out with the bath. There are definite times when we need a doctor but to recognise the Lord is the healer. It is important we go to God for healing first in prayer and that we repent from sin issues that caused the disease in the first place.

Today have medicine to lower blood pressure so that we can live longer to deal with fears of the future that are behind high blood pressure.

Masturbation in Marriage  — Masturbation outside of marriage

The problem is with masturbation is all sin starts with a thought and turns into action.  That means those fantasies could turn into sexual sin with someone else outside of marriage and then live with regrets or consequences.

Some of you will ask is it ok for married couples to masturbate.  The answer is would you tell your church you masturbate and would you tell your church you have a relationship with your wife?  I’m sure you would say you have a relationship with your wife but probably denies the other.

Father God, I take authority over and bind every sexual demon, and I break off all spiritual soul ties to demonic spirits and legions and satanic molesters that attach me to men/women I fancied about or had sex with.  I come against the soul tie and break the spiritual connection as spiritual soul ties to my mind, memory, my body, my heart, my stomach, my sexual organs, my eyes, my breasts, my hips, my lower back, my buttocks, and command every sexual demon to go to the dry places in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Father I ask You to cleanse my spirit, my mind and my body in the Name of Jesus. I now apply the Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over every single ungodly tie.

I also command all addictions as a to lust and need for love coming out of the unloving spirit and rejection to be broken and leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God, I call the fire of God to burn all cords, soul ties, unclean lust to be burned up and never attach itself to me again.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, flush out sexual deposits and toxins out of my body, soul and spirit by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God, I also also ask you to cleans my hands that have been defiled during sexual lust masturbation and command my hands to be cleansed by your blood in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God, I command every evil spirit or deposit of those people I imagined or had sex with to go back to them.  I call forth all parts of me deposited in them to come back to me and declare my heart clean and free in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Lord, Jesus, I confess my inability to keep myself pure, and I ask You, Holy Spirit, to strengthen me in this area my mind, will and emotions, heart, mind and body.  Convict me of any thought or deed that will lead me into sin again.  Lord, send me an accountability partner, a disciples in this area who will pray for me and watch over my soul.  Give me the grace each day to deny myself and help me to recognize and discern lust as lust. Keep me from deception, Lord.  I plead the Blood of Jesus over myself and my relationships and I ask You to keep them righteous and holy.

Now in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I cast out and loose myself from any spirit spouses and authority over (women) Incubus or (men) succubus, satanic sexual molesters or spouse imposters.  I break every covenant, curse, soul tie and linkages to satanic sexual molesters, spouse imposters and command it to be broken.

Father God in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I call forth my authority that was stolen from me from these demonic spirits.

Succubus, Lilith and Mare, Baal and Belial and every other strongman not mentioned, and command them to come out of my body, soul and spirit and go to dry places.

I will no longer serve these demon spirits. I renounce Satan and all his works. I declare a divorce with every one of these sexual demons, in the Almighty Name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Father, sweep with Your broom of destruction throughout my body, soul and spirit, and remove every evil spirit still hiding anywhere in my being, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I command every chemical imbalance — imbalance of hormones creating the lust, over sex drive, to go back to peace, back to balance, from satanic sexual molesters.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I cast out all spirits of loneliness that would drive me to ungodly sexual relationships or fantasy lust in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I command all spirits of hereditary lusts from my ancestors to come out in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I command all spirits of witchcraft that work with lust to leave in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, clean my vain imaginations in my long-term memory and break the long-term memory not to recall first love, lovers of the past, with my imagination.  Put a guard over my mind and give me strength to cast down vain imaginations in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  I declare and decree to the heavens that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

If not married and desires marriage:

Father God, if there is any blocking spirits keeping me from meeting my mate, I command all generational assignments to be broken and loose the ability to attract the right men for marriage.

If married:

Father God, I cast out all marriage-breaking spirits of lst that would break covenant in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Reversing the Curse:

Father God, I present my body to the Lord as a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1Rom. 12:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

Father God, I receive your forgiveness and also forgive myself from these past acts and declare and decree I am free.

I receive the spirit of holiness in my life to walk in sexual purity in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I am crucified with Christ.  I mortify my members.  I do not let sign reign in my body, and I will not obey its lust (Rom. 6:6–12Rom. 6:6–12

Is Masturbation Sin?

What Does The Bible Say About Masturbation

The Bible does not discuss masturbation at all but there are scriptures that can confirm it leads to sin, addiction or it is an act of lust since masturbation requires fantacy.

…but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matt5:28)

1 Cor. 6:181 Cor. 6:18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

WP-Bible plugin
, “Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.”

  • The Greek word for “immorality” is porneia which means illicit sexual intercourse, i.e., fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, etc.  The English word “pornography” is derived from this Greek word.

Eph. 5:3Eph. 5:3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

WP-Bible plugin
, “But do not let immorality or any impurity or greed even be named among you, as is proper among saints.”

  • Again, the word for “immorality” is porneia.

All sin begins in the heart

Even though the bible does not come out and directly say it is a sin, but it is a fantasy of someone you wish to be with or been with.  Then there are your hands involved in making it happen.

All sexual immorality begins with a thought. A lustful thought not taken captive, will eventually lead to other perversions, because sin reproduces itself in increasingly greater measures. If we do not deal with our evil thoughts, they will take root in our hearts.

Not only is masturbation a sin but can be a lust addiction to meet some need.  Masturbation is a false pathway of peace to deal with stress and not just a sexual experience.  Many times children grow up in chaotic homes and to deal with the stress will turn to masturbation.

Along with masturbation is fantasy and pornography which adds to the same and increases the sin.

Lust is fought on two fronts:

  • the carnal sin nature and demonic spirits within our carnal nature.
  • lust of the eyes and flesh
  • pride of life

Not just stress opens the door to masturbation:

  • rape, incest
  • childhood sexual play and exploration
  • exposure to pornography magazines, tv rated r movies, internet sex sites, etc.
  • abuse
  • premature sexual experience in the teen years

Less obvious but can arise a person:

  • romance novels,
  • soap operas
  • music and songs related to something sexual

Song of Solomon 8:4 says “not to stir up want or awaken love before its time.

It is important to discover the triggers to when the activation of lust to take you to masturbation.  If you know the triggers, then you can avoid them and protect yourself.

Second, recognize and take responsibility for your life.  That means resist the temptations and avoid the triggers.

Third, confess to Christ it is a sin and repent and ask for his forgiveness.

Fourth, find an accountability partner or someone you can trust and help you during the heightened feelings and you feel it is a loosing battle.

Go to Part 2 is Masturbation Sin includes Deliverance Renunciation Prayer

What Exactly is Inherited Iniquity – P2

Breaking generational or inherited iniquity means breaking strongholds of the mind — wrong thinking.

Example: sinful attitudes, prejudice and wrong values, hurts and pains from others which are learned or inherited through parents.

It could be something you put in importance over God which might be the same attitude of your father which defines this as idolatry and God hates idolatry. He made us to worship Him only.

In the old testament, and Israel’s problem and fall, ws falling into worshipping other gods to be like the world — acceptance.  The World’s jealousy of Israel because of the favor they had with God.

The big obvious sins: occultism, cults, false religlions, pschics, witchcraft, satanism, secret societies, sexual sins, blood oaths, but how about more settle things such as excessive love, shopping, food (false pathway to peace when stressed), money, possessions, beauty, power, fame, rock stars, vitamins — healing and so on.

We are not to bow down or have a false pathway to peace or comfort in anything else but God.  God should be our all.

Romans 1:25Romans 1:25
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. more: or, rather

WP-Bible plugin
“Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever!  Amen>

Our ancesters worshipped or served other gods, the sin of idolatry results in curses in their hearts would be passed down to the next three or four generationsl.  God hates it because all these other things takes us away from our first love, Jesus Christ.  God loved us so much that He sent His son to die to save us when we did not deserve it.

Can you look to see anything in your generations or parents that was more important to have over God?  If you can say yes, then stand in the gap and repent and renounce the generational inherited sins of iniquity.  Second question, can you see the same attitude over the same things pressuring you to sucumme!

Iniquity is a heart condition, an inner tendency of man to break God’s heart.  God created mankind for love, compasionship and fellowship — under God’s terms.  He will not share us with anyone or anything else.

The fruits or evidence of inquity:  lawlessness, wicknedness, depravity, unrighteousness, and perversion.

Victorious Walk Daily after Breaking Demonic Strongholds Prayer

How to Walk Victorious Daily and Keep My Freedom Out after Spiritual Warfare Prayer Breaking Demonic Strongholds

EIGHT STEPS TO 8RS (Renewal of Your Mind)

How to Keep a Healed and Cleansed Heart and the Enemy Out and Walking in Health and Staying Delivered. It is a sanctification process to renew the mind.  It is putting the Word of God in practice to keep your healing and deliverance.

1. Recognize – you must recognize the problem and the enemy.
2. Responsibility – You must take responsibility for what you recognize.
3. Repent – You must repent to God for participating with what you recognize.
4. Renounce – You must make what you recognize, your enemy and renounce it.
5. Remove – Get rid of it once and for all.
6. Resist – When it tries to come back resist it.
7. Rejoice – Give God thanks for setting you free.
8. Restore — Help someone else get free.

1. Recognize – every thought comes to you comes from some kingdom. Is it accusation, guilt, shame, rejection, etc. or is it love.

We don’t have to remember each and every sin and we don’t have to get back in time to relive each moment to be healed. As the Lord peels our “onions”, we can recognize them as they come to mind. We just have to recognize the SIN in our lives – envy, jealousy, etc. When the Lord reminds us of more of these sins, and then simply repeats the process of the 8 R’s.

You must have discernment – distinguishing good and evil.

You must not be afraid of evil. Evil is not more powerful than God!

We must have knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge ties the past to the present but Wisdom take the present and move it into the future.

2 Corinthians 10:4–62 Corinthians 10:4–6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

4 through God: or, to God 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; imaginations: or, reasonings 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

WP-Bible plugin
“4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”

What does it mean bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of christ? It means anything that is not of God’s character, you need to cast that thought down and don’t become one with it. Do not agree with the spirit of darkness.

We react to every thought that comes into our minds. It changes the chemicals in our mind. We need to learn renewed in my minds and freed from strongholds.

2. RESPONSIBILITY – regardless how much abuse you have had you are still responsible for your sin. If someone hurts you, it is your responsibility to forgive him or her.

We can change – from glory to glory

No excuse, no denials

The buck stops here

There is no way out

Psalms 51:2–4Psalms 51:2–4
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

WP-Bible plugin
“2Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. 3For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. 4Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight—That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge.

Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

3. REPENT – I recognize sin and taken responsibility for it and I’m choosing to turn from it. I let it go.

We have to be the one who repents (change of heart) for the sin.

1 John 1:91 John 1:9

4. RENOUNCE – (he was renouncing it very clearly) – Paul did not want to sin.

Fall Out of agreement – Hate the sin, but love the sinner! Even if it is just a mustard seed of love!

There are only 2 worlds – Good and Evil – God will not share us with evil!

We have to take on the mind of Christ and see ourselves as God see us. We need to have appointed of reference – We must know the love of God for us. If we don’t know, we will self-destruct

Take the log out of our own eye before we ever attempt to take the stick out of another’s eye.

We must develop a perfect hatred for the evil on our lives.

Love ourselves, but hate the evil.

Love our neighbor, but hate the evil.

Separate others and ourselves from sin!

Romans 7:15–25Romans 7:15–25
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. allow: Gr. know 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? the body…: or, this body of death 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

WP-Bible plugin
“15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

I Corinthians 10:20–22 “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrificed, they sacrificed to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

5. REMOVE IT – remove the temptation or remove the sin such as rejection, etc.:

We must break all soul ties with those who are in bondage with us in order to get rid of the temptation to keep sinning.

It’s not a game of “confession”, sin, “confession” – we must be serious about getting rid of the sin in our lives.

We must avoid and stay away from those places that normally lead to sin – bars, shopping areas, — any place that does not help you spiritually.

We must resolve – sin and we aren’t to exist at the same place at the same time – We must remove it and it has to go!

Mathew 4:1–5w 4:1–5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

4 1 Better it is to have no children, and to have virtue: for the memorial thereof is immortal: because it is known with God, and with men. 2 When it is present, men take example at it; and when it is gone, they desire it: it weareth a crown, and triumpheth for ever, having gotten the victory, striving for undefiled rewards. 3 But the multiplying brood of the ungodly shall not thrive, nor take deep rooting from bastard slips, nor lay any fast foundation. 4 For though they flourish in branches for a time; yet standing not last, they shall be shaken with the wind, and through the force of winds they shall be rooted out. 5 The imperfect branches shall be broken off, their fruit unprofitable, not ripe to eat, yea, meet for nothing.

WP-Bible plugin
“1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” 5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, “You shall not tempt the LORD your God.” 8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.”

6. RESIST — Accusation will try to come back so resist it. That is why we need to discern good and evil. The Devil gives afflictions.

Delivered people are given obligations for their deliverance. They must fill their hearts with the Word of God, must renew their minds, must change their ways. If they do these things — as many do, so relieved are they to be free from the darkness — there is no reason why they can’t stay free. As the Son has made them free.

Draw neigh to God and He will draw neigh to us.

We can’t strong arm the enemy

This is a continuous work, but it is worth it – Health and wellness will be normal!

Obedience is better than sacrifice!

Fruit of Rejection or Different Diseases that Come out of Rejection:

Being a perfectionist in to performance and works to be accepted by others, God or self.

False Burden Bearing — helping others to feel better about yourself.

Loneliness and isolation

Loniness leads to misery

Then it leads to self-pity saying “no one understands me.”

Self-pity leads to depression — Moods of gloominess that settle down all over you. Everything feels dark and heavy.

Next, it leads to hopelessness — I may as well give up! Nothing is going to work.”

Hopelessness leads to death or suicide. Our heart can get so heavy that we literally bring on death. Suicide is more radical. It comes with statements like: “I might as well end it all! What’s the use of living? There’s nothing to live for.”

As you can see, rejection can literally take away your life if you don’t deal with it. It may be a seemingly slow process, but you can’t allow it to progress and take the life you were given to glorify God. Satan wants you to give up so that you are not used by God.

Rejection can lead to self-rejection, self hatred are the roots of autoimmune diseases As we begin to attack ourselves, the body does the same within. Autoimmune disorders are basically the body gone awry by attacking, destroying, and eating us alive in various degenerative and chronic diseases such as allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and many more.

Breaking Demonic Stronghold Prayer — P4

Prayer to Break the Legal Rights of the Demons — Spiritual Warfare Prayer

This this prayer out loud.

Father, In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I now approach Your throne in a time of great need, in time of an extreme emergency.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as You already know, I have demons attacking me from the outside, and possibly from the inside of my being. I know why they are in my life. I have done some really bad and evil things in my life. I have horribly transgressed against both You and all of Your basic laws and commandments with the sins that I have personally committed against You.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I first want to say to You that I am really sorry for doing all of these bad and evil things against You. There is no excuse for the kind of behavior that I have exhibited over the years. But Father, I now want to take a strong stand. I do not want any more part of this kind of evil and wicked lifestyle. I know now that You are My only hope and My only salvation to be able to deliver me from the demonic bondage I now find myself enslaved in as a result of crossing over into these kinds of heavier sins.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask that You please have mercy on my soul, and that You please forgive me for all of the sins and atrocities that I have personally committed against You under the blood that Your one and only Son Jesus Christ has personally shed for me on the cross.

1.  Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now want to formally confess out all of the bad, evil, and sinful things I have personally done against You. Father, I now confess to you the following things as being sins and extreme abominations in Your sight:

  1. My involvement in drugs.
  2. My involvement in sex, fornication, unnatural and unholy sex acts – such as homosexual acts and thoughts, and being involved in a swingers type lifestyle.
  3. My use of all kinds of pornography.
  4. My past adulterous affairs and activities.
  5. All of my past thefts and covetousness.
  6. All of my envy and jealousy that I have ever shown against anyone, and all of my lying and deceit that I have ever been involved in.
  7. All of the pride, impatience, hate and rage that I have ever shown or manifested over the years.
  8. All of my involvement in some of the occult arts such as witchcraft, invocation of demon spirits, and tarot cards.
  9. All of the times that I have personally cursed You and prayed to other false gods.
  10. Breaking most of Your 10 commandments to one degree or another.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now know, without any shadow of a doubt, that all of the above activities were evil, heinous sins and abominations in your sight. I am so sorry for going this far against You.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of NazarethI know that Your Son Jesus Christ has died for all of my sins. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now ask that You please forgive me for every single one of the these sins and transgressions that I have personally committed against You. Let the Blood of Your Most Holy Son Jesus Christ completely wash away every ounce of stench, every ounce of each one of these sins that have been committed against You.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you tell me in Your Word, that if I am willing to confess my sins and agree to repent, that You will fully forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now ask that You please forgive me for of all of my sins that I have personally committed against You through the blood that Your Son Jesus Christ has personally shed for me on the cross. I now believe that all of my sins have been completely forgiven and completely washed away by the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2.  Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now want to agree to also renounce every single one of the above sins. You have my word that I will never, ever attempt to go back into any area having to do with the occult, any area having to do with sexual fornication, or any involvement in any kind of drug use whatsoever.

Father, in Jesus name, I now officially renounce every single one of the above sins and transgressions that have been committed against You.

If you were raped, say this part 3

3.  Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the next thing I need to take care of is when my father raped me when I was a young child. I now know that what he did was evil and wrong in Your sight. However, I will choose not to hold any unforgiveness towards him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I choose with my own free will to fully forgive him for what he did to me when I was a young child. My father and the judgment on his life will now fall into Your hands, not mine. I hold no hate or animosity towards him. I ask that you please have mercy on his soul when he has to face You for his own personal judgment. I now fully forgive him for what he has done to me.

4. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now believe that all of my sins, transgressions, and abominations against You have been fully forgiven by You under the shed blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. Father, I thank You for having this kind of mercy on my soul and that You have made a way of forgiveness for me through the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ.

Father, with all of my sins and transgressions against You now being fully forgiven – I now want to once and for all break the legal rights these demons have had over me over all of these years.

Father, in Jesus name, I now ask that You fully break the legal rights of these demons. I now ask that You completely break and completely sever every single one of their legal rights that has arisen as a result of my involvement in all of the above sin areas.

Father, in Jesus name, I now want to personally come against each one of these legal rights myself – operating under Your authority and Your anointing to be able to do so.

5. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I also want to reaffirm with you as I have done the other day, that I have now fully surrendered my body, my soul, my spirit, and my entire life into Your hands. I now ask that You place me into Your perfect will for my life.

I am now willing to fully follow You all the rest of the days of my life. I will now be guided by Your Holy Spirit from this moment on – and I will never, ever cross back over into the sin-filled life I used to live in.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now belong to You, and You alone. You, and You alone, are my Rock and my Salvation. I will look to no other. My life is now totally in Your hands. Father, from this moment on, I will fully follow You and fully serve You for the rest of my eternal life.

Amen!

Misconception May Not Be God’s Will To Heal

Read Proof of God’s Will to Heal You Below

How many times have you heard someone say it is not God’s Will To Heal that Person! This is a misconception. In fact, I believe it is an excuse to cover up the lack of faith or doubt and unbelief.

In God’s Word:

God wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1Luke 18:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

WP-Bible plugin
Jesus told his disciples that they “should always pray and not give up.”

Scritpures of Jesus healing them all of every sickness

Matthew 8:14–17
” And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

Matthew 9:35
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” — healing every sickness

Matthew 10:1,7–8Matthew 10:1,7–8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. against: or, over 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

WP-Bible plugin
— not only Jesus but gave power to disciples to do the same
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give” — The disciples heal all manner of sickness and disease.

All the might and powerof God are waiting and ready to be used on your behalf but you have to connect to God. If it does not happen, then stand believe and dont’ give up but continue to pray until they are healed.

If no results, check if your faith is hindered, others around you with unbelief, etc. If you have others around you, have them remove themselves. Jesus did at times if unbelief was around.

It is God’s will for the sick to be healed. You might need to check to make sure there is no unforgiveness in the person you are praying for.  There are reasons for not being healed according to James 5:s14-16.

In James 5:14–15James 5:14–15
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

WP-Bible plugin
we are told: “Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.” and in James 5:16James 5:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

WP-Bible plugin
we are asked to “confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” and then told that “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

WP-Bible plugin
Jesus further instructs to forgive when we pray “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25) And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Per these scriptures, it is God’s will to heal the sick!

SICK FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!

Many believe sickness for the Glory of God!

This is a misconception and often times referred to the death of Lazarus.  The sickness of Lazarus has often been referred to as for the glory of God.  When Jesus was told that Lazarus was sick, He replied: “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” John 11:4John 11:4
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

WP-Bible plugin
.

Lazarus was raised for the glory of God! — not sick for the glory of God!

Another scripture taken out of context is John 9:3John 9:3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

WP-Bible plugin
“Neither hath this man sinned nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

This does not infer that neither this man nor his parents had ever committed a sin, for we are told “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God;” Rom. 3:23Rom. 3:23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

WP-Bible plugin
. Rather, this blindness, which was unusual, was not a direct punishment of unusual sin.

If this man was blind for God’s glory, Jesus was working against the glory of God, for He gave sight that day to the man who was born blind. His blindness was an occasion for the works of God to be made manifest in him. God was glorified when those who had known him to have been born blind, saw that suddenly he was able to see.  Then, many are able to praise the Lord for God’s goodness.

If you believe your sickness is for the glory of God, then why are you going to a doctor for your healing?  If so, does that mean you are sinning against God for healing?

There was no sickness in the Garden of Eden before the first sin was committed. None of us expect to find sin in heaven, nor do we expect to find sickness there. Where sin is, there is sickness.

Deliverance Healing Prayer:

Father God, forgive me for believing the misconception that God does not heal today.  I repent and renounce that lie, for doubt and unbelief and lack of faith and I command these spirits to go to dry places so that my faith can grow.  Father God, help me to believe your word and believe your truth about healing today by reading your word.  Amen

Father God, for any sickness in my Mind, Body or Spirit, I call Forth the Healing Touch of God.  Your word says faith comes by hearing and I believe in your healing and stand in healing and praise you for my healing even though I don’t see it but believe my faith will believe by reading and believing in your word today.

Hindrances to the Power of God

How To Remove the Hindrances of Healing such as Doubt and Unbelief

(Notes from John G. Lakes Ministry)

1. The first major power hindrance of God in a person’s life is SIN. This shouldn’t even have to be addressed. If you are a Christian you are steadily “mortifying” the deeds of the flesh. If you are a Christian, you have crucified that flesh and the lust thereof.

a. Rom 8:13Rom 8:13
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

WP-Bible plugin
— For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (KJV)

b. Gal 5:24Gal 5:24
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. affections: or, passions

WP-Bible plugin
— And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (KJV)

c. I John 2:1John 2:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

WP-Bible plugin
— My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (KJV)

2. The second major power hindrance to the power of God is unbelief.

a. Unbelief can also be classified as sin, but we will look at it separately at this time.

b. Unbelief is nothing more than calling God a liar. Most people see unbelief as not knowing.

c. Unbelief is not “not knowing”, it is “knowing” but choosing not to believe.

i. Matt 13:57–58Matt 13:57–58
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

WP-Bible plugin
– 57. And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (KJV)

ii. Mark 6:3–6Mark 6:3–6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. offended: scandalized in, or, by him 4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

WP-Bible plugin
– 3. Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. (KJV)

d. Strong’s #570 apaistia (ap-is-tee’-ah); From 571; faithlessness, i.e. (negatively) disbelief (lack of Christian faith), of (positively) unfaithfulness (disobedience): KJV – unbelief.

i. If you have had teaching concerning the will of God in the area of healing, and you know that it is always God’s will to heal in answer to faith.

ii. If you are not living in sin.

iii. If you are not in unbelief, but are rather in belief, trusting God to honor His Word.

iv. If you are Available to God to be used.

v. If you are Bold to speak up concerning God’s desire to heal.

vi. If you are Compassionate, walking in the love of God for people.

vii. If all these things apply to you, and yet you still do not see God’s power in your life, there can be ONLY one reason.

viii. You are not spending enough time in prayer.

Prayer: The closer you get and the longer you stay there the more saturated you become.

1.  The more power you receive

2. The longer you are out in the cold winter weather, the longer it will take for you to warm back up.

3. The more you stay in the atmosphere of this world, the longer it will take you to “warm up” to God. This is why we worship and pray to start church services. Since many people seem to live most of their time in the natural / flesh, etc., it sometimes takes a long time to enter the presence of God. Some people attend church and never get into the presence of God, because the only time they pray is in church.

How can you pray without ceasing?

1. Make sure everything you say could be used in prayer.

2. Begin to carry on a conversation with God.

3. Verbally ask God to reveal things to you. Ask God to answer your questions, to bring into manifestation the wisdom of Christ that has been placed in your spirit.

4. Begin to ask God to reveal things to you in the Bible.

5. Ask God to manifest the gifts of the Spirit in your life so that you can help others. The fastest way to receive from God is to share with others what God shares with you. (Make sure you give Him the credit for sharing it with you.)

6. Live in the presence of God. When you wake up in the morning say Good Morning Father, Son and Holy Ghost. When you lay down to go to sleep at night, say, Good Night, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

7. Before you go to sleep, always ask God to talk to you in your sleep, and tell you the things that He couldn’t get across to you while you were awake. When I began to do this, instantly God began doing mighty things in my sleep. My dreams are spiritual, I receive revelations and I never have nightmares or bad nights sleep (or a bad next day for that matter). My life is daily becoming more and more full of God.

8. Pray in tongues. Pray strong and loud.

9. Remember, you are not ready for the battleground until you have been on the Holy Ground.

10. Pray everywhere, all the time. You cannot pray too much. Prayer is like scaring the crows away from your cornfield.

It will keep Satan’s doubts and temptation away. Then when you see someone needing a touch from God, you will be in the right “frame of mind” to give them that touch, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Remember, some people will never get any closer to God than when they have crossed your path.

Setting Captives Free From Disease Mind Body Spirit

Traci Morin

Information above is from a free ebook called “Divine Healing” — pdf

God is Our Righteous Judge

Disease does not come from God or Jesus but from Satan

God, being the Law-giver, the Righteous Judge, and the originator of the Law of Sowing and Reaping, takes the responsibility for the affliction of those who are in sin. In this sense does God send affliction, sickness and disease, etc.?  No, sin, disease, sickness, death comes from God but is a curse.  Satan became a curse and puts a curse on us and Satan is the executor of the Law.  When we sin gives Satan the legal right to inflict sickness and disease.

Flesh dies and spirit lives.  We have a choice to choose walking and living in the flesh or in the spirit.

God promises to heal every sickness and disease, and promises that no diseases shall be upon us, then we should live in divine health.

Sin and Sickness are two fruits from the same tree

Psalms 103:2–6 — 2Psalms 103:2–6 — 2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

When we sin habitually and continually, Satan is the accuser and goes to the throne of God to get permission to inflict us because Satan is the executor of the Law of God.

James 5:13–20 — 13James 5:13–20 — 13

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. earnestly: or, in his prayer subject…: of the same nature, that is, a fellow mortal 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. in…: or, for a remembrance 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. ye do…: or, shew ye 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. damnation: or, judgment 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

God sent Jesus to bring Restoration and Healing

If Jesus is the full expression of God, then why did Jesus Never put sickness on even one person? Why did he always remove sickness and disease, rather than put it upon anyone? Jesus had “healing services” everyday, NOT ONCE did He EVER tell anyone to keep their sickness or disease. Any time He mentioned the cause of sickness or disease, He always attributed it to Satan.

Healing is Always God’s Will

It is part of the atonement in the old testament as well as in the new testament.

What Keeps Us From Getting Healed?

The reason anyone is not saved or healed is answered above, they would not do what it takes to find out what to do to be saved or healed, or if they did find out, they would not live by it. It does take faith and the stealer of faith is doubt and unbelief which comes from the Devil.

Three Steps to Action:
A. Revelation– Enlightenment concerning God’s Will (Oh, that’s what God wants me to do, to be, etc.)
B. Conviction– determining where you are in fulfilling God’s Will (Oh, I’m not anywhere near that.)
C. Action– completing the fulfillment of God’s Will (I must do…)

Scriptural Reasons God Heals

Psalm 9 1:14–16 — 14. Because he hath set his love upon me therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour ham 16. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation. (KJV)

In Deuteronomy 28 we are told what will happen if we obey God and what will happen if we disobey God. Healing of every sickness and disease is under the blessings listed if we obey God and those same sicknesses and diseases are listed as the curse that shall come upon us if we do not obey God. If you have sinned and became sick or diseased, it is an easy thing to repent, receive forgiveness and be healed.

Conclusion:

The very word used in the Bible for salvation means health, healing, deliverance, prosperity, peace, and wholeness. Salvation is the all-inclusive word in the Bible which clearly defines Gods attitude and will for us.

Emotional Pain Connection to Physical Disease

We are spiritual beings or Body Soul and Spirit and How It is All Connected.

Emotions Pain Affect Your Physical Health

What causes emotional pain! A broken heart, wounded spirit through betrayal, loss, divorce, causes emotional pain. Losing a loved one, struggling with job woes, or having our lives shattered with a horrible divorce are just some of the catalysts that can create a broken heart / wounded spirit.

You know when you have a broken heart from a painful experience. Some of the symptoms of a broken heart is feeling emotionally heavy, feeling physical emotional pain in your chest — heartache, depression, etc.

It can also be a result from disappointment, fear or guilt, neglect, abuse, abandonment, or loss of a parent(s).

This tends to worsen when you replay and relive painful, traumatic events that occurred in the past.

Another factor is growing up in a conditional love home and a child had to perform to feel loved and maybe never felt loved or accepted. What results is trying to be perfect or in control of others, environment, etc. These people grow up being driven in everything they do to feel accepted either on the job, with their homes, etc. They are never able to just rest.

Many times this type of person will fall into false burden bearing or false responsibility of others to avoid their own emotional pain. These people are stuffers suffing their emotions down.

Emotional pain can become crippling when it affects your mood, relationships, personal and professional life, and occupies your mind constantly and cause physical illness if a person is not able to get on the other side of a wounded heart.

There is a both a hidden source and an observable pathway by which many diseases enter our lives. The hidden source is the place in our hearts where we “choose” (often unwittingly) to depart from that graced place of trust and love which God intended to be our true inner life

How can my emotions affect my health?

  • Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act. This is often called the “mind/body connection.” When you are stressed, anxious or upset, your body tries to tell you that something isn’t right. For example, high blood pressure or a stomach ulcer might develop after a particularly stressful event, such as the death of a loved one. The following can be physical signs that your emotional health is out of balance:
  • Back pain
  • Change in appetite
  • Chest pain
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Dry mouth
  • Extreme tiredness
  • General aches and pains
  • Headaches
  • High blood pressure
  • Insomnia (trouble sleeping)
  • Lightheadedness
  • Palpitations (the feeling that your heart is racing)
  • Sexual problems
  • Shortness of breath
  • Stiff neck
  • Sweating
  • Upset stomach (acid reflux)
  • Weight gain or loss
  • Multiple Chemical sensitivity

This ministry elaborates on all scriptures that agree with this truth, as well as many others by means of bible study classes in the Dallas area. Why don’t you contact us today and start your healing journey!

Two Choices To Choose During Trials and Tribulations

I was recently reading a book by Smith Wigglesworth and he said to truly be used by God, you have to be broken.  Brokenness comes in many forms and ways.  When you go through betrayal, loss of reputation, being used by Christians, hurt or great loss, you have two choices, either forgive and praise the Lord through it or become bitter.  I decided to praise the Lord and thank the Lord regardless what it looked like at the moment.

19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

I would say from the list, I went through it all.  Going through it, my heart is more tender instead of bitter.  I still wonder why people act the way they do.  But the answer is they are human and are reacting to what they believe.  What they see is not always true but it is true to them. I tried to protect a lot of people and I was in the middle of it all.  I had to obey God and do what he wanted me to do.  Unfortunately, because I refused to expose, or reveal and protect everyone, it blows up in your face.

We say “God why when I was following you.”  Then you learn you go through, regardless if it is true, brokenness does occur.  Brokenness is good as long as it does not turn to bitterness.  Brokenness pulls up what is truly in you — flesh or spirit.  How do you react when others accuse you when not true?

Many times you lose friends at all levels and sometimes many because of associations, etc.  God is an awesome God full of love and tenderness.  He provides new friends, family, etc. that are much healthier because God has to be the center of your existence. Out of my brokenness, I had to look at the sin in me that I would have never seen except through brokeness.   I used to build friendships out of order.  God has to be your all and not people.  We serve a jeolous God.

I also had a fear of man.  It set me up to be controlled. I don’t blame the other person what has happened at all.  I had to look in the mirror and see what was in me for a relationship to be built wrongly. We do go through trials and tribulations of life since God is doing a work in you.  Trials and tribulations only last for a short while but the Lord himself restore, confirms, strengthens and establishes you back to Him according to 1 Peter 5:101 Peter 5:10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

Going through the trial and tribulation you have to stand fast in prayer and pray always to keep your heart right especially when others try to destroy you because they are hurt and don’t understand the intent.  Many times your heart becomes broken but you are given the choice to forgive those who break your heart.Romans 12:12Romans 12:12

Our Attitude During Trials and Tributations

Rejoice in hope, be patient in trials and tribulation, be constant in prayer. The Lord is so good.  He reminded me constantly that the temptation will not overtake you.  When you are going through tribulations the enemy tempts you with temptations to get back at the other person through accusation, ugliness, etc.  Instead I kept in continual prayer because I knew my answer would not be accepted.  I refused to use any accusation against the person who hated me or believed what they believed was true.  Then the Lord gives me 1 Corinthians 10:131 Corinthians 10:13
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. common…: or, moderate

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also give the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

All I’m trying to do is follow the Lord.  When I left the ministry because the Lord told me to lay it all down, I didn’t care if I ever prayed for another person, or ministered or anything.  I was totally fine with being a bump on the log and being no one in the kingdom.  I wanted it to be that way but the Lord would not let it go.  He kept sending me people constantly.  Even people from the other ministry but I had to turn them down because it would not be fair and unethical. I was going to be as honorable as I could be.

Anyway, God just kept pouring in me during those times with Him and so got motivated to build a website.  Then wham get hit again with accusation.  It made me shake but I decided to praise the Lord, continue to forgive and follow God regardless what others thought or believed.  My reputation is in the Lord.

All these are tests and stretching to take you to a place of tenderness and into the wonders of God’s goodness.  I see Him in such a different way that I’ve never seen before.  I walk on earth and see life differently and people differently.  I love people but it is in the right order.

Part 2 Trials and Tribulations

Part 3 Trials and Tribulations

Test of the Heart

Tests of the Heart

Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you to know what is in your heart that you would keep His commands. — Deuteronomy 8:2Deuteronomy 8:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

WP-Bible plugin

Has God performed a heart test on you lately? There are times in our lives when God leads us into the desert to let us find out what is in our heart. These times can be very difficult and humbling. They can test our meddle like no other time. Desert times often mean we are living without those things we are normally accustomed to: water, food, limited supplies-and with few comforts. In modern terms, it may mean a different environment. God is performing a very important work during these times. He wants to know if you are obedient to Him in these times; or obedient only when times are good?

He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you (Deuteronomy 8:3–5Deuteronomy 8:3–5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. 5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

WP-Bible plugin
).

These desert times may mean experiencing new ways of provision from the Lord. Like manna from Heaven, it may mean seeing miracles we’ve never seen before. Like clothing that never wears out, it may mean seeing your normal capabilities expanded. Like walking hundreds of miles without pain, desert experiences provide new lessons and new experiences that only these times can teach us.

What desert experience has He brought into your life lately? Perhaps it is a lean time in business. Perhaps it is a new environment. Whatever it is, when God decides to bring new disciplines into our lives by bringing us into the desert, do not fear the heat that is sure to come. He is walking beside you to test you and find out what is really in your heart. Ask for His grace to pass the test. He wants to bring all of His children into the Promised Land.

Our Faith Makes God Act

Healing by faith and faith without works is dead

The Scriptures say, “If we ask for anything according to his will he heareth us.”  What is His will?  All be saved and All be Healed.

When you pray for healing, Christ authorizes you to consider your prayer answered.

When we begin to act our faith God begins healing mind, body spirit.

Faith Through Praise

Jonah, when inside the fish, acting out his faith by praising and thanking God in advance.  Jonah said, “I will sacrifice with the voice of thanksgiving.”

“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High. and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee; and thou shalt glorify me.”

Praise God in advance while you are still in need.  “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving.”

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his presence with praise.”  Faith is what we have before we are healed.  It is praising Him for the answer before the answer.  It is standing in Faith on His Word that He will fulfill His Word of Promise.

When you base your faith on improvement, symptoms or what you see or feel instead of by the Word of God alone, that is not real faith.  We need to look and stand on God’s promises in His Word and stand that’s done over 2000 years then you are no longer affected by symptoms “shall recover.”

Praising God for your healing before your healing, not just by words but with faith like you know it is done because God’s Word says so.  That means you believe in God’s Word about healing and expect that healing.

Be glad and rejoice; for the Lord will do great things.  That means believe in his word.  In conclusion, Faith has to do Only with the Word of God Heb. 10:35–36Heb. 10:35–36
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Healing Is For Today

So many main line churches do not believe healing is for today that much of God’s healing died away with the apostles of Christ.

Let me point out why healing is for today!

There was no sickness and disease in the garden.  Death is a curse and so is sickness and disease and was never part of God’s original plan for man.

Our entire nature itself reveal th present attitude of Christ toward the healing of our bodies.  Nature everywhere is healing.  As soon as disease germ enter our bodies, nature begins to expel them.  Break a bone, or cut a finger, and immediately your body starts the healing process.  How, has God commanded nature to rebel against His own will?  If sickness is the will of God, would t not seem that He has?

Six names of Christ is fully revealed by His redemptive name Jehovah-Rapha which means My God Heals.

Jesus said himself “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do greater works than these shall he do.  John 14:12–13John 14:12–13
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

.

Christ attitude revealed the fact that healing is part of the great Commission.  Mark 16:15, 18Mark 16:15, 18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

WP-Bible plugin

In the old testament on the grounds of the atonement, that all disease was healed.  The Atonement was Christ’s reason for making no exceptions in healing the sick.

Fear of Man Brings a Snare

If you are breathing in God’s Kingdom, God has a calling on your life! Are you going to let the enemy rob you? Will you let the Fear of Man stop you under the guise –It is not sitting there waiting for you with a title slapped on it? That you are not Perfect, not healed in everything YOU think you should be, before walking in it? Had I known that it was the spirit of Fear that stopped me from speaking out loud. From walking in the gifts that were naturally and supernaturally IN me, I could have done so much more for the Lord, and walked in such Joy so much sooner. Its just a very big mistake to waste another day.

Peter walked with Jesus all that time, seeing miracle after miracle and yet at the end he denied Christ. Later he went on to do Great things. Doing what God calls us too does not necessarily mean its a Full Time Ministry position, But everytime it involves helping and serving of others. Let me give you some simple examples of God’s purposes and calling and what that might look like.

•Have you lost a child? Possibly death– miscarriage ‚disease, adoption, abortion.

•Have you lost a parent or spouse? In death, divorce.

•Have you lost a home and belongings? Due to death, divorce, unemployment, catastrophic weather?

•Have you lost the ability to work and disabled for a season? Due to disease or an accident?

These are just a few example of things that we all experience in one way or another. If you have overcome with God in victory to peace and joy in Christ– there is someone waiting to hear how do you do this?

How do you survive and want to live another day. How can they be healed?

So when you study Fear, Stress and Physiology with us and learn how Fear and Trauma robs you of so very much of His Joy in this life! You get excited at Knowing that God is waiting for the Truth in His word, to override what the enemy has meant for evil! That you can NOW walk in complete wholeness- His Peace. (nothing missing, nothing broken) That is the Good News! Selah

Thank you for visiting Christian Healing Ministries Dallas — Healing Touch of God — Setting the Captives Free Body Soul and Spirit

In Jesus’ Day

Jesus Came to Destroy the Works of the Devil

With the coming of the Lord, the two were even more visibly and inseparably bound together. He came to destroy the works of the devil and through His years of ministry upon the earth, our Lord went about forgiving sin and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. With what sweet and gracious benediction fell His words upon the troubled heart :

Thy sins are all forgiven thee go in peace and sin no more’ or “Thy sins are forgiven thee rise, take up thy bed and walk.” Hallelujah! What a Deliverer is this what a precious double cure for soul and body, praise the Lord !

The Power of Jesus Christ The Way of Healing

In Matthew 9 :2, a man was brought to Jesus sick with palsy and lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the man, sick with the palsy : ’ ’ Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” but, behold, certain scribes who, though forced by what their eyes had seen in the past to believe Christ’s power to heal the sick, doubted in their hearts His ability to forgive sin. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, ” Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts, for whether is it easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee ; or to say, Arise, and walk?”

The scribes of that day had admitted Christ’s power to heal, but disputed His power to forgive. Today the attitude of the doubter is quite reversed many who admit His power to forgive sin, doubt His ability to heal the sick. But Jesus says : ’ ’ Which is easier?” and the simple facts are that it is just as easy for the Lord to do the one as the other.

Sin and Sickness Connection

The Power to Forgive

There is a direct connection between sin and sickness.  Today the church has grown weak and looks at the word sin as a wicked word.  The Word of God says we all have sin and if anyone says they don’t have sin is a liar.

1 John 1:8–101 John 1:8–10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. occasion…: Gr. scandal

WP-Bible plugin
(NCV) “If we say we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and we do not accept God’s teaching.”

Confess Our Sins

According to this scripture, especially vs. 9, if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins … He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.  That is why Jesus was sent on earth.  He knew no man could be perfect even though Jesus was perfect.  God knew that and wanted to redeem us from the curse of death and separation.  He sent His son to die and bore our sins and sickness on the cross so that when we do mess up, we can run to Jesus and confess our sins and we are cleansed.  Confession to Jesus refreshes us.  Amen.

In James 5:15, 16James 5:15, 16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

WP-Bible plugin
it says also to confess our sins to one another. “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that ye may be healed.”

We see the sin and sickness connection.  Otherwise, why would we have this scripture?  As in other scriptures, the pardon of sins and the healing of sickness are closely united.  James declares that pardon of sins will be granted with the healing; and for this reason he desires to see confession of sin accompany the prayer which claims healing.  Unconfessed sin presents an obstacle to the prayer of faith or soon the sickness may reappear.

Prayer of Faith

Most of us go to a physician for diagnose the cause of the disease.  If he succeeds he stands a better chance to combat it.  You see our Lord also goes back to the primary cause of all sickness that is, sin.  It is our part to confess and God’s to grant the pardon which removes this first cause so that healing takes place.  In seeking healing by means of earthly remedies, the first thing to do is to find a cleaver physician and follow his prescriptions exactly.  If a person takes the prayer of faith, fix our eyes on the Lord, allow the Holy Spirit to show us the reason why we are sick, then we can confess and the spirit of the Lord can heal us.

James points out to us a condition which is essential to the recovery of our health; confess and forsake sin.

Did God put this disease on me?  Where does disease come from?  One, God permits it; it is in order to show us our faults, to chasen us, and purify us from them.  Sickness and disease is not God’s perfect will.  Sickness was not in the garden and death was not in the garden.  The source of disease is from the devil and when we sin, he has a legal right to put it on us.  He is out to kill, steal and destroy.  John 10:10John 10:10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

WP-Bible plugin
.  Kill means to bring to death.  Jesus was sent to bring life and forgiveness to those who ask.  God brought the Israelites out of Egypt to give them life.  Another way of looking at sin and sickness is that Sickness is therefore a visible sign of God’s judgment upon sin and Satan carries out that judgment.  Sin separates us from the Father especially when the Lord Jesus Christ is praying for you and standing with His open wide to receive you when you confess to Him so that we are pardoned from our sin.

To confess our sins is to lay them down before God with the fixed purpose to fall into them no more.  When we have confessed our sins, we must receive also the promised pardon, believing that God gives it in very deed.  When the soul has consented to make a sincere confession and has obtained pardon, it is ready to lay hold of the promises of God; it is no longer difficult to believe that the Lord will raise up His sick one and bring healing.

It is when we keep far from God that it is difficult to believe, confession and pardon bring us quite near to Him.  Many believers, when they get sick, blame God so they separate themselves with anger and bitterness towards God instead of standing in faith, going to Him (Jesus) in prayer and making it right.

Now, many times sickness and disease can be inherited but many times it is because we open the door to the same sin.  What do I mean.  The Word of God says to love God with all your heart soul and mind, love your neighbors as yourself.  How many of you like who you are or wish you were someone else or maybe you believe God has forgiven you but you don’t allow yourself off the hook.  Maybe your mother or father has issues and that spirit went down the generational line and now you feel the same way about you.  That is unconfessed sin.

Ye Shall Receive Power

Spiritual Warfare Prayer

Spiritual Warfare Prayer

The Father of Heaven through Jesus Christ Gives Power — Ye Shall Receive Power

“Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” The disciples had asked whether the Lord would at that time restore again the kingdom to Israel. Christ told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father had put in His own power, but He promised them that when they received the Holy Ghost they should receive power to witness for Him in all the world. To receive the Holy Ghost is to receive power with God, and power with men.

There is power in God and satan has power but it is no match to God’s power.  I’ve been in deliverance ministries for years and I still cannot get over how many ministers give so much power to the Devil when God is greater.  You see you need to see in the spirit the finished Word Jesus did on the cross and what authority he has given us.

The Lord wants all saved people to receive power from on High–power to witness, power to act, power to live, and power to show forth the divine manifestation of God within. The power of God will take you out of your own plans and put you into the plan of God and away from what you believe is the plan. God’s plan is always perfect.

The Lord will change you and put His mind where yours was, and thus enable you to have the mind of Ye Shall Receive Power 31 Christ. Instead of you laboring according to your own plan, it will be God working in you and through you to do His own good pleasure through the power of the Spirit within. The secret is obedience no matter how weird it might seem. Obedience is the ingredients of doing it God’s way and not your way.

Christ must reign within, and the life in the Holy Ghost means at all times the subjection of your own will to make way for the working out of the good and acceptable and perfect will of God within.  The Holy Spirit has to fill you.

When the Holy Spirit comes in He comes bringing power to empower you as an effective witness.

The Holy Spirit will come cleanse you and purge of the old life.  I never saw anyone baptized who was not clean within.

When the Holy Spirit comes He always brings a rich revelation of Christ. Christ becomes so real to you that, when, under the power of the Spirit, you begin to express your love and praise to Him, you find yourself speaking in another tongue.

“It is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me” (Galatians 2:20Galatians 2:20
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

WP-Bible plugin
).

God wants witnesses, witnesses to the truth, witnesses to the full truth, witnesses to the fullness of redemption–deliverance from sin and deliverance from disease–by the eternal power working in them, as they are filled with life through the Spirit.

A man filled with the Holy Spirit is no longer an ordinary man. A man can be swept by the power of God in the first stage of the revelation of Christ so that from that moment he will be an extraordinary man. The Holy Spirit must fill you to become a free body for God to dwell in, and to use, and to manifest Himself through.

The mission of the Holy Ghost is to give us a revelation of Jesus and to make the Word of God life unto us as it was when spoken by the Son–as new, as fresh, as effective as if the Lord Himself were speaking.

As we read the Word of God each day, it should come to us like a breath from God.  The Word itself giveth life; the Spirit of the Lord, breathing through, revealing by the Word, giving it afresh to us, makes the Word alive today.  The Word of God transforms our mind to demonstrate we are more like him, to think like him and to walk like him with power.

Some of you have suffered with sickness and disease either body, soul or spirit because you have a limited revelation of Jesus, of the fullness of life in Him or don’t believe healing is for today.  Instead we say, it is God’s will I’m sick.  No way is it God’s will for a man have sickness.  If so, why are you going to a doctor for your sickness or disease?  Some of you say healing is not for today.  People, I have to tell you otherwise, The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Seek this vision from God, and keep it ever before you, seek to know him, seek to read and study His Word — He is the Word. Pray the prayer that the apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians believers, as recorded in Ephesians 1:17–19Ephesians 1:17–19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: in…: or, for the acknowledgement 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, his mighty power: Gr. the might of his power

Paul is telling Agrippa of what the Lord said to him in commissioning him.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.”

Enoch walked with God. Enoch laid hold of God and he began to move toward heaven. At last it was not possible for him to stop any longer.

How do you get faith? By reading the Word of God as much as you can receive food for your soul, for the strengthening of your faith, and the building up of your character in God, so that all the time you are changed and made meet to walk with God.

Second, is praying and interceding and putting on the mind of Christ daily in your walk.  It is communion with the Lord most high like Enoch did as well as Paul and others.

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

It is impossible to please Him on any line but faith, for everything that is not of faith is sin. God wants us to see that the plan of faith is the ideal and principle of God.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” He is the author of faith. God worked through Him for the forming of the world. “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.” And because of the exceedingly abundant joy of providing for us so great salvation, He became the author of a living faith. And through this principle of living faith, looking unto Him who is the author and finisher of our faith, we are going through change into the same image from glory to glory, even by the Spirit of the Lord.

It is always those people who are full of faith that have a good report, that never murmur, that are in the place of victory, that are not in the place of human order but of divine order, since God has come to dwell in them.

How shall we reach this plane of faith? Let go your own thoughts, and take the thoughts of God, the Word of God.  If you build yourself on imaginations you will go wrong. You have the Word of God and it is enough.

Take the Word of God seriously and realize it is just the Word of God but it is the Word of God. The Word of God is inexpressible in value, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, inspired in totality.

” Read it through. Write it down. Pray it in. Work it out. And then pass it on.” Quoted by Smith Wigglesworth

The Word of God changes a man when he/she takes it to heart and applies the Word of God into their heart and mind.  In reality, when we meditate on His Word, it changes a man until he becomes an epistle of God. It transforms his mind, changes his character, moves him on from grace to grace, makes him an inheritor of the very nature of God.

In fact it develops a hunger.  How else are you going to know the character and heart beat of the Father if you don’t read and study and meditate on his word.

God comes in, dwells in, walks in, talks through, and sums with him who opens his being to the Word of God and receives the Spirit who inspired it.  You are going to know His will, desire righteousness, hate sin and walk in the fruit of the spirit and with power.

That is the benefit if spending time with the Father through His word and through prayer and meditation to the Lord.  You are going through change to release the power in Him for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

Do you want the mundane type of faith or the real faith in God for miracles, his work, etc.?

All lack of faith is due to not feeding on God’s Word. You need it every day. How can you a life of faith? Feed on the living Christ of whom this Word is full. As you get taken up with the glorious fact and the wondrous presence of the living Christ, the faith of

God will spring up within you. “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17Romans 10:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith puts us in possession of all that the death of Christ and His resurrection have procured for us, and it is not only in our spirit and our soul that the life of the risen Jesus manifests its presence here below; it is in the body also that it would act according to the measure of our faith.

Where Does Disease Come From

Looking at The Origin of Disease and Death

No Sickness or Disease Before the Fall of Adam and Eve

Before the fall of Adam and Eve, there was no sickness, disease, mental illness, death, etc.  In fact Adam and Eve had a God conscience and the devil could not communicate with them in spirit.  That is why Satan showed up in a physical body of a snake to talk to Eve.  After the fall, Adam and Eve had a self-conscious.

Gen 1:26Gen 1:26
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

WP-Bible plugin
“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.’” God  created us on the sixth day of creation. He created us in his image, giving us dominion of this whole planet.

After the fall, the curse came upon them.  What did that mean.  It meant that their bodies would not live forever and that they would have to face death, sickness and disease. Until the millenium, we will have different bodies that don’t die.

Gen 2:16–17Gen 2:16–17

“And the LORD God commanded the man, ‘You are free  to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.’” Here  is the first indication of possible sickness and death: disobedience: “you will surely die.”

WP-Bible plugin
, you will notice a whole list of curses to those who sin. Among them are: diseases, plagues, fever, inflammation, severe burning fever, scorching, boils, tumors, scabs…. It is clear here that God does not consider sickness as a blessing,  but rather a curse.

When the curse of death came upon man, Satan entered the genetic system of the body to
begin his destructive mission. He came to kill, steal and destroy you.  The Bible confirms that Satan is the source of evil in the
world. Our sin opens the door for Satan to attack us. Jesus said he is a thief and …

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…
(John 10:10John 10:10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

WP-Bible plugin
)

Sickness destroys the body like sin destroys the spirit. Disease steals health, happiness,
money, time, effort, and strength. It truly kills and destroys. Even “accidents” that harm
the body are destroying agents of Satan. Because the source of sickness is Satan, you
must resist it just as you do temptation and sin. When you resist temptation and sin you
are doing spiritual warfare against Satan’s attacks on your soul and spirit. When you
resist sickness you are waging spiritual warfare against his attacks on your physical body.

Jesus Redeemed Us From The Curse of Death, Sickness and Disease

The good news though is that Jesus died in our place and redeemed us from the curse… Gal 3:13–14Gal 3:13–14
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

WP-Bible plugin
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’ He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

Through Jesus Christ, the Lord have us authority to cast out demons and heal the sick.

The demonic world of spirit are disembodied spirits—that is, they once had bodies but lost them. This explains why they hunt for bodies. They crave bodies to inhabit.

Then, the New Testament gives us more clarification of this fact. Jesus himself referred to disease as satanic bondage (Luke 13:16Luke 13:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

WP-Bible plugin
). We know that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit to remove such bondage (Luke 4:18Luke 4:18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

). We know that Jesus identified a demonic spirit in connection with a case of physical disease (Luke 13:11Luke 13:11
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

WP-Bible plugin
).

Other biblical references of Sickness and Disease:

In this verse, serpents and scorpions refer to demonic spirits. The phrase, “all the power of the enemy” is much broader and would include illness. This is very clear when all of chapter 10 is read in context, but even if it had not been so clear, we could come to the same conclusion based on Acts 10:38Acts 10:38
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

WP-Bible plugin
.

How did Jesus bring healing to this woman? He rebuked the fever, just as he rebuked the spirit a few verses earlier. This is further evidence of the satanic origin of sickness and disease.

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick (Luke 9:1, 2Luke 9:1, 2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

9 1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

WP-Bible plugin
).

We know God created everything, but keep in mind that sin is not a creation, sickness is not a creation, and death is not a creation. These things only exist in the absence of the intended order of creation; they are perversions of the original intention of God. Nevertheless, many will site Isaiah 45:7Isaiah 45:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

WP-Bible plugin
to argue the point that even evil is the creation of God.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

So, we see that sickness and disease is a result of generational sins of the forefathers, from Adam and Eve, and from personal sins.

Further, every disease comes from a germ of life. Just as your spirit gives life to the body, Satan provides the destructive elements of sickness. In the natural world, God takes a living cell and multiplies it to bring forth life and a new child is born. Satan counterfeits this positive process with a negative cycle of his own. He takes a living cell (virus, cancer,
etc.) and multiplies it to bring forth death. This is the “spirit of infirmity” which works in your body when you are sick. When the spirit of infirmity is cast out, disease in your body dies. As long as that germ exists in the body, the disease lives and continues its destructive work.

How Does God View Sickness

If you understand how God views sickness you will never again doubt its source. God calls sickness captivity:
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job… (Job 42:10Job 42:10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. gave…: Heb. added all that had been to Job unto the double

Jesus came to preach deliverance to the captives:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised. (Luke 4:18Luke 4:18

Jesus called sickness bondage:

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

(Luke 13:16Luke 13:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

WP-Bible plugin

Jesus came to set people free with the truth:

And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

(John 8:32John 8:32
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

WP-Bible plugin

The truth is that Jesus viewed sickness as oppression and healed those who were oppressed:

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the Devil; for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38Acts 10:38
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

WP-Bible plugin

The Bible identifies death as an enemy:

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (I Corinthians 15:26)

Sickness is called loathsome:

For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease; and there is no soundness in my flesh. (Psalms 38:7Psalms 38:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

It is also viewed as evil:

An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him… (Psalms 41:8Psalms 41:8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. An…: Heb. A thing of Belial

) There are verses in the Bible which indicates God sent a plague or sickness. While God is not the originator of such ills, He sometimes uses them to accomplish His purposes in executing judgment upon the enemy.

The term ‘deliverance’ as used here encompasses both the process and the result of one’s liberation from demonic bondage. Deliverance is driving out evil spirits, using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as your authority. Jesus said,

‘In my name they [believers in Him] will drive out demons’  Mark 16:17Mark 16:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
