Heated Conversation Never Say “You”

Learn to Not Use The Word “You” When Upset

 
Have you ever been angry with some­one and felt you needed to cor­rect them or get your point across?  Many times when peo­ple are mad, they use the word “You” and “You” becomes offen­sive or accu­sa­tional to the other per­son caus­ing them to go into defense because the one angry feels they have to fix the other per­son or blame to cor­rect them.  It is a form of con­trol.  Avoid blam­ing so try not to blame oth­ers before you know the facts.When in com­mu­ni­ca­tion with some­one regards to dif­fer­ences, feel­ings, etc. it is bet­ter to begin with What are bet­ter than ques­tions begin­ning with Why to avoid defen­sive responses. While I agree with some points, I believe this argu­ment neglects the more impor­tant word: YouThe word you in each of those ques­tions that car­ries the accusatory tone, not the why.  The word you com­mands atten­tion and can put the other per­son on the defensive.

Not only that it is talk­ing down to the per­son and not show­ing respect.  Peo­ple who blame oth­ers tend to overem­pha­size them­selves while at the same time under­em­pha­siz­ing the neg­a­tive effects of their actions .

In relaion­ships, manip­u­la­tion can be defined as: any attempt to con­trol, through coer­cion (overt or covert), another person’s thoughts, feel­igs or behaviors.

Manip­u­la­tion is usu­ally attemtped using power, unso­licited help­ing, res­cu­ing, guilt, weak­ness, and/or depen­dence, in order o achieve a desired outcome. 

Bound­aries are state­ments about our val­ues and where we stand on issues.  True bound­aries are not threats or about get­ting the other per­son to do what we want through guilt, shame, power. 

 When you don’t put the per­son in defense, then most likely the Lord can deal with the person’s heart.  Oth­er­wise, when the word “You” is used, it blocks God to move in your behalf.  Many times the Word “You” is a judg­men­tal and accu­sa­tion and offen­sive.  Both sides of the argu­ment slashes the word “You” and both are hurt and angry and takes much longer to bring heal­ing and forgiveness.

When you avoid the Word “You”, the heated con­ver­sa­tion can be con­trolled much bet­ter and much peace.

WP-Bible plu­gin.“Faith is not believ­ing God can, it is know­ing that God will.“It is that know­ing and truth in the Lord He will com­plete what­ever you are stand­ing for and not allow­ing doubt and unbe­lief or dis­cour­age­ment to come in your heart.  You just know He will answer your prayer.Have you ever received a word from the Lord in your heart and have con­fi­dence the Lord will answer your prayer request?  Even had oth­ers try to dis­cour­age you or get you to dis­be­lieve but you just know in your heart?

Have you ever had to rebuke a friend for get­ting  you to doubt God’s promises?  When you get a word or promise from the Lord that is easy

What if you are pray­ing but have not received a promise!

Then you stand, get in the Word of God to get a scrip­ture to hold onto until He ful­fills the promise.  It takes prayer, and press­ing in to get a scrip­ture for your sit­u­a­tion or prayer so that you can fight dis­cour­age­ment from the devil who comes to dis­cour­age you and not believe God.

Misconception May Not Be God’s Will To Heal

How many times have you heard some­one say it is not God’s Will To Heal that Per­son! This is a mis­con­cep­tion. In fact, I believe it is an excuse to cover up the lack of faith or doubt and unbelief.

In God’s Word:

God wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1Luke 18:1

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were pos­sessed with dev­ils: and he cast out the spir­its with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be ful­filled which was spo­ken by Esa­ias the prophet, say­ing, Him­self took our infir­mi­ties, and bare our sicknesses.”

All the might and powerof God are wait­ing and ready to be used on your behalf but you have to con­nect to God. If it does not hap­pen, then stand believe and dont’ give up but con­tinue to pray until they are healed.

 

If no results, check if your faith is hin­dered, oth­ers around you with unbe­lief, etc. If you have oth­ers around you, have them remove them­selves. Jesus did at times if unbe­lief was around.

 

It is God’s will for the sick to be healed. You might need to check to make sure there is no unfor­give­ness in the per­son you are pray­ing for.  There are rea­sons for not being healed accord­ing to James 5:s14-16.

WP-Bible plu­gin Jesus fur­ther instructs to for­give when we pray “I tell you the truth, if any­one says to this moun­tain, ‘Go, throw your­self into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will hap­pen, it will be done for him. 24) There­fore I tell you, what­ever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25) And when you stand pray­ing, if you hold any­thing against any­one, for­give him, so that your Father in heaven may for­give you your sins.”

Per these scrip­tures, it is God’s will to heal the sick!

Part 3 Hin­drances to Faith and Hin­drances to Healing

There are many rea­sons for hin­drances to faith and heal­ing but touch­ing on the high­lights some of the reasons.

Next area of Hin­drances to Faith and Hin­drances to heal­ing is Fail­ure to Tithe to God.

We have to real­ize every­thing we have comes from God.  So, if it all comes from God, since He is the cre­ator of the uni­verse, why do some rob God.  This brings a curse even though many peo­ple say that is not true today and that we do not live the Old Testament.

We are com­manded in scrip­ture to bring in our first fruit tot he store­house.  Mal. 3:8–12Mal. 3:8–12

What is keep­ing you from tithing to the Lord?  Is it not believ­ing in God’s word, doubt and unbe­lief He will take care of you?  Do you believe that tithing was under the law?  Lets remem­ber, before the law, Abra­ham paid a tithe to Melchizedek and so did Jacob before the law began.  So, that in itself proves tithing belongs to the Lord is not only dur­ing the time of the law.

When you tithe, you are invest­ing in the eter­nal per­spec­tives that is for­ever to your ben­e­fit for the King­dom of God.  Look at it as an invest­ment for your future in eter­nal things which weigh much more than the things on earth which will all be burned to stub­ble or not worth anything.

We all judge one another but fail to see the faults in our own heart.  We all need to take the time to check our own heart.  How can we know what is in our hearts.  When you read and study the Word and spend time with the Lord, He is gra­cious to show us areas that need to be dealt with or sanc­ti­fied or die to our flesh.

We serve a faith­ful God who is con­tin­u­ally work­ing on us but it takes spend­ing time and build­ing a rela­tion­ship with Him to become more Christ like.  It con­sist of not judg­ing oth­ers.  In fact, scrip­ture talks about not judg­ing oth­ers unless you want to be judged.  John 3:18John 3:18

Unwill­ing­ness to con­fess faults to one another indi­cates lack of con­fi­dence int he power of God to deliver them or there is just a lot of pride and the per­son is bound to pride.

Hindrances to Faith & Healing

Hindrances To Faith and Healing — 1

It is impos­si­ble to please the Lord with­out faith

Heb. 11:6Heb. 11:6

6 But with­out faith it is impos­si­ble to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that dili­gently seek him.  

WP-Bible plu­gin “But with­out faith it is impos­si­ble to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that dili­gently seek him.”

The clue here is seek­ing him with faith and not allow­ing doubt and unbe­lief enter or rule your mind.

Bib­li­cal Faith

It is impor­tant to walk and talk and live in bib­li­cal faith.  Bib­li­cal faith is an absolute neces­sity to receive any­thing from God.  Could that be the pos­si­ble rea­son for unan­swered prayers?

Bib­li­cal faith is sim­ply believ­ing that God meant what He Said.

Are you stand­ing for loved one for sal­va­tion?  Is there doubt and unbe­lief because of look­ing at the nat­ural and not the super­nat­ural or what you can­not see happening?

Jesus said, “There­fore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24Mark 11:24

Faith is believ­ing with­out evi­dence of any­thing hap­pen­ing but believ­ing, because of who our father in heaven is, the cre­ator of the uni­verse, is work­ing on our behalf.  Doubt and unbe­lief is a big inhibitor.

How about giv­ing up or mur­mur­ing and com­plain­ing to God?

Faith is prais­ing the Lord, after you have prayed to him or made your need known, that it is already done.  It is a know­ing and a trust in the Father of Heaven.

Ene­mies of Faith

Satan will come to try to steal and that is where dis­cern­ment comes into play.  Who is talk­ing to you?  Is it Satan or God when stand­ing on a promise, or ask God, etc.

Those who do not believe in God can be ene­mies of faith and some­times other chris­tians can be ene­mies of faith through their doubt and unbelief.

The rea­son you have trou­ble believ­ing is you don’t want to believe.  Did you have an earthly father who made promises but never car­ried them out and so afraid God will do the same?

How about rea­son­ing it away.  Many peo­ple are very intel­lec­tual and it gets in the way.  It might not make sense to them but a per­son, who is intel­lec­tual, needs to clear that thought way of life out and believe.

Abid­ing Faith

“So then faith cometh by hear­ing, and hear­ing the word of God.” Roman 10:17man 10:17

To stand in faith means to abide in Him.  Abid­ing faith does not mean church mem­ber­ship but those liv­ing in the Word of God — Abid­ing Faith.

If your faith is waver­ing, the best way to com­bat the doubt and unbe­lief, is get the word out and stand and declare and decree His word out loud.  That can really help build faith.

It is get­ting in His word of His promises and stand­ing on the promises of God, if it is for sal­va­tion of a loved one or stand­ing for heal­ing.  Stand and decree His Word to the heav­ens or med­i­tate on his word — that is abid­ing in Christ.  Christ is the Word accord­ing to John 1.

The King­dom of God

Sec­ond is “seek­ing the King­dom of God and his right­eous­ness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33Matt. 6:33

33 But seek ye first the king­dom of God, and his right­eous­ness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We need to seek His direc­tion and plan to carry out the plan of God or ask you have made to how to ful­fill it.  Many times there are actions we have to do but it takes abid­ing in Him to know His plan and steps.

Those who abide in Christ and His Word abides.

Another Hin­der­ances of Faith is Con­dem­na­tion — Hin­drances to Healing

21 Beloved, if our heart con­demn us not, then have we con­fi­dence toward God. 22 And what­so­ever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his com­mand­ments, and do those things that are pleas­ing in his sight.

Until you meet his con­di­tions, keep his com­mand­ments, abide in him, then, faith will come to believe.  That means heal­ing in your life, stand­ing for some­thing that is important.

God’s power is enough to heal, as well as to save any­one and every­body but his promises is to heal those who keep His com­mand­ments and walk in the statutes.

God does heal unbe­liev­ers because God is using it to bring them to salvation.

Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh

Many believ­ers believe  Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh is not sick­ness and disease.

“Lest I should be exalted above mea­sure through the abun­dance of the rev­e­la­tions, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the mes­sen­ger of Satan to buf­fet me, lest I should be exalted above mea­sure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is suf­fi­cient for thee: for my strength is made per­fect in weak­ness. Most gladly there­fore will I rather glory in my infir­mi­ties, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Cor. 12:7– 92 Cor. 12:7– 9

There is no back­ing in scrip­ture that Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh was due to sick­ness.  Infir­mi­ties here “I take plea­sure in  infir­mi­ties,” in reproaches, in neces­si­ties, in per­se­cu­tions, in dis­tresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am  weak2, then I am strong.  What “infir­mity of the flesh” did Paul preach the gospel through? Not sick­ness, he preached through the con­se­quences of “reproaches”, “per­se­cu­tions”, and “dis­tresses for Christ’s sake:” (v10), and that is what his “thorn” was, peo­ple, who were inspired by “the
mes­sen­ger of Satan”, per­se­cut­ing and reproach­ing him.

Lets look at the Old Tes­ta­ment since the Old Tes­ta­ment and New Tes­ta­ment have har­mony with each other.

WP-Bible plu­gin. Thus the thorn refers, not to some­thing within the body, but to annoy­ances from with­out, caused by peo­ple.  Paul speaks of his par­tic­u­lar thorn as being “the mes­sen­ger of Satan to buf­fet me.”

The word “buf­fet” means to strike as with the hand; to con­tend with.

His ref­er­ence to “buf­fet­ing” would refer more eas­ily to the beat­ings, ston­ing, and the like which he received after he preached the Gospel from city to city, than to any pos­si­ble sick­ness in his own body.

This mis­con­cep­tion within the body of christ only hin­der or destroy the faith of God’s peo­ple cre­at­ing doubt and unbe­lief in God’s Word for healing.

Sick­ness many times is a chas­ten­ing or pun­ish­ment from God because of our habit­ual sin (either per­sonal or gen­er­a­tional), but, through Jesus Christ, we can still claim heal­ing by repent­ing and restor­ing our fel­low­ship with God. But to say God will never pun­ish with­out let­ting us know what it is for and will not con­tinue to pun­ish when we have learned our lesson.

What kind of God, who loved us so much and sent his son to die for us, would do such a thing!

Are We Chas­tened by Sickness?

Are you bas­ing not be healed because of a belief upon the Scrip­ture found in Hebrews 12:6Hebrews 12:6

We serve a lov­ing Father does not pun­ish His child more severely than needed for that child’s crime or mis­be­hav­ior.  Even though such sick­ness may come as penalty for sin, it is not nec­es­sary for any Chris­t­ian to remain sick. God does not allow acci­dents to keep you bound in a bro­ken body.

God has pro­vided repen­tance for sal­va­tion but stay­ing saved, and qual­ify for all God’s blessings.

“If we con­fess our sins, he is faith­ful and just to for­give us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unright­eous­ness.” 1 John 1:91 John 1:9

Yes, dis­ease comes from sin and Satan is the execu­tor of the Law.  It comes on us but we have the power to go to the Lord and repent and be cleansed of all unrighteousness.

Did God Chas­tise Job!

Some of you believe Job chas­tised for no rea­son and was found with­out sin. The truth is no man is per­fect but we can be right­eous in the Lord.  Lets look at Job and his boils.

Job’s fear of God was not the only fear. He admit­ted and cried out, “The thing which I GREATLY FEARED is come upon me.” Job 3:25Job 3:25

Fear is not faith but the oppo­site of God.  Fear is a char­ac­ter of the flesh and the king­dom of dark­ness.  Faith is the char­ac­ter of God.  Job had fear over his chil­dren, who were sin­ning, and he was doing sac­ri­fices for them to cover their sin instead of cor­rect­ing his chil­dren or his scorn­ing wife.

Satan saw it as a hedge round about Job, through which he could not pen­e­trate, but fear, being opposed to faith, makes an open­ing in the hedge through which Satan may enter.

Con­clu­sion:

When dif­fi­cult issues hap­pen such as sick­ness and dis­ease, it is to work out the flesh out of our lives.  Again, Satan is the exe­cu­tioner of the law.

Side note: Almost all skin dis­eases are directly related to stress, anx­i­ety, worry, etc.

Father God, for any sick­ness in my Mind, Body or Spirit, I call Forth the Heal­ing Touch of God.  Your word says faith comes by hear­ing and I believe in your heal­ing and stand in heal­ing and praise you for my heal­ing even though I don’t see it but believe my faith will believe by read­ing and believ­ing in your word today.

 We Are All Called To Heal — It is Part of the Great Commission

As they went forth in the power of His name, many mir­a­cles and heal­ing were accom­plished by these dis­ci­ples, who had fol­lowed Jesus. Just as heal­ing was a inte­gral part of Jesus’ min­istry it was now to be an inte­gral part of their min­istry.  We are all called and have the author­ity to heal the sick.

(b) Over-eating. Glut­tony. This can become sin.

(e) Care­less and neg­li­gent expo­sure to weather and dis­ease.
(f) Wrong, men­tal and emo­tional habits, or should we say wrong spir­i­tual habits. Fears, wor­ries, hatred, fail­ure to find rest and peace and trust in Christ.

13. Waiver­ing in their faith.  When not healed, they doubt God’s love for them.

Hindrances to the Power of God

How To Remove the Hin­drances of Heal­ing such as Doubt and Unbelief

1. The first major power hin­drance of God in a person’s life is SIN. This shouldn’t even have to be addressed. If you are a Chris­t­ian you are steadily “mor­ti­fy­ing” the deeds of the flesh. If you are a Chris­t­ian, you have cru­ci­fied that flesh and the lust thereof.

2. The sec­ond major power hin­drance to the power of God is unbelief.

d. Strong’s #570 apais­tia (ap-is-tee’-ah); From 571; faith­less­ness, i.e. (neg­a­tively) dis­be­lief (lack of Chris­t­ian faith), of (pos­i­tively) unfaith­ful­ness (dis­obe­di­ence): KJV – unbelief.

i. If you have had teach­ing con­cern­ing the will of God in the area of heal­ing, and you know that it is always God’s will to heal in answer to faith.

ii. If you are not liv­ing in sin.

iii. If you are not in unbe­lief, but are rather in belief, trust­ing God to honor His Word.

iv. If you are Avail­able to God to be used.

v. If you are Bold to speak up con­cern­ing God’s desire to heal.

vi. If you are Com­pas­sion­ate, walk­ing in the love of God for people.

vii. If all these things apply to you, and yet you still do not see God’s power in your life, there can be ONLY one reason.

viii. You are not spend­ing enough time in prayer.

Prayer: The closer you get and the longer you stay there the more sat­u­rated you become.

2. The longer you are out in the cold win­ter weather, the longer it will take for you to warm back up.

3. The more you stay in the atmos­phere of this world, the longer it will take you to “warm up” to God. This is why we wor­ship and pray to start church ser­vices. Since many peo­ple seem to live most of their time in the nat­ural / flesh, etc., it some­times takes a long time to enter the pres­ence of God. Some peo­ple attend church and never get into the pres­ence of God, because the only time they pray is in church.

How can you pray with­out ceasing?

1. Make sure every­thing you say could be used in prayer.

2. Begin to carry on a con­ver­sa­tion with God.

3. Ver­bally ask God to reveal things to you. Ask God to answer your ques­tions, to bring into man­i­fes­ta­tion the wis­dom of Christ that has been placed in your spirit.

4. Begin to ask God to reveal things to you in the Bible.

5. Ask God to man­i­fest the gifts of the Spirit in your life so that you can help oth­ers. The fastest way to receive from God is to share with oth­ers what God shares with you. (Make sure you give Him the credit for shar­ing it with you.)

6. Live in the pres­ence of God. When you wake up in the morn­ing say Good Morn­ing Father, Son and Holy Ghost. When you lay down to go to sleep at night, say, Good Night, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

7. Before you go to sleep, always ask God to talk to you in your sleep, and tell you the things that He couldn’t get across to you while you were awake. When I began to do this, instantly God began doing mighty things in my sleep. My dreams are spir­i­tual, I receive rev­e­la­tions and I never have night­mares or bad nights sleep (or a bad next day for that mat­ter). My life is daily becom­ing more and more full of God.

8. Pray in tongues. Pray strong and loud.

9. Remem­ber, you are not ready for the bat­tle­ground until you have been on the Holy Ground.

10. Pray every­where, all the time. You can­not pray too much. Prayer is like scar­ing the crows away from your cornfield.

It will keep Satan’s doubts and temp­ta­tion away. Then when you see some­one need­ing a touch from God, you will be in the right “frame of mind” to give them that touch, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Remem­ber, some peo­ple will never get any closer to God than when they have crossed your path.

Has God per­formed a heart test on you lately? There are times in our lives when God leads us into the desert to let us find out what is in our heart. These times can be very dif­fi­cult and hum­bling. They can test our med­dle like no other time. Desert times often mean we are liv­ing with­out those things we are nor­mally accus­tomed to: water, food, lim­ited supplies-and with few com­forts. In mod­ern terms, it may mean a dif­fer­ent envi­ron­ment. God is per­form­ing a very impor­tant work dur­ing these times. He wants to know if you are obe­di­ent to Him in these times; or obe­di­ent only when times are good?

He hum­bled you, caus­ing you to hunger and then feed­ing you with manna, which nei­ther you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell dur­ing these forty years. Know then in your heart that as a man dis­ci­plines his son, so the Lord your God dis­ci­plines you (Deuteron­omy 8:3–5Deuteron­omy 8:3–5

These desert times may mean expe­ri­enc­ing new ways of pro­vi­sion from the Lord. Like manna from Heaven, it may mean see­ing mir­a­cles we’ve never seen before. Like cloth­ing that never wears out, it may mean see­ing your nor­mal capa­bil­i­ties expanded. Like walk­ing hun­dreds of miles with­out pain, desert expe­ri­ences pro­vide new lessons and new expe­ri­ences that only these times can teach us.

What desert expe­ri­ence has He brought into your life lately? Per­haps it is a lean time in busi­ness. Per­haps it is a new envi­ron­ment. What­ever it is, when God decides to bring new dis­ci­plines into our lives by bring­ing us into the desert, do not fear the heat that is sure to come. He is walk­ing beside you to test you and find out what is really in your heart. Ask for His grace to pass the test. He wants to bring all of His chil­dren into the Promised Land.

The Devil Speaks but Sounds Like Your Voice

Satan is the “father of lies,” — stop lis­ten­ing to him when you are stand­ing for some­thing in your life.  If heal­ing, sal­va­tion for fam­ily mem­bers, etc.

Praise the Lord when the enemy starts whis­per­ing in your ear say things like, “you won’t get healed.”  You start Prais­ing the Lord and tell the enemy, “it is writ­ten” “it is writ­ten” “it is writ­ten” God’s word is truth and I will be healed or my fam­ily will be healed.  Tell him to get behind you because he is the father of lies who lies against God’s word.  He wants you doubt but don’t lis­ten.  Stand in faith know­ing God is a God of promise and His Word is of Promises and says you will be healed.

That means resist the lies of the devil.  He will even say you are not loved by God.  He will even try to make you feel like a fool and steal your faith, joy, peace in your heart.

If you are doubt­ing, it did not come from God but from the ene­mies camp so start prais­ing the Lord until you get your faith faith back.  Faith comes by hear­ing so read God’s word of truth.  Stand and believe and praise the Lord for the answre before the answer.

You have to see you are God’s child and a father wants to give good things to his child.  If needed, repent for hav­ing a spirit of doubt and unbe­lief and get right with the Lord again.

Again, so why lis­ten to the Devil.

Our Faith Makes God Act

Heal­ing by faith and faith with­out works is dead

The Scrip­tures say, “If we ask for any­thing accord­ing to his will he heareth us.”  What is His will?  All be saved and All be Healed.

When you pray for heal­ing, Christ autho­rizes you to con­sider your prayer answered.

When we begin to act our faith God begins heal­ing mind, body spirit.

Faith Through Praise

Jonah, when inside the fish, act­ing out his faith by prais­ing and thank­ing God in advance.  Jonah said, “I will sac­ri­fice with the voice of thanksgiving.”

Praise God in advance while you are still in need.  “Let us come before his pres­ence with thanksgiving.”

“Enter into his gates with thanks­giv­ing and into his pres­ence with praise.”  Faith is what we have before we are healed.  It is prais­ing Him for the answer before the answer.  It is stand­ing in Faith on His Word that He will ful­fill His Word of Promise.

When you base your faith on improve­ment, symp­toms or what you see or feel instead of by the Word of God alone, that is not real faith.  We need to look and stand on God’s promises in His Word and stand that’s done over 2000 years then you are no longer affected by symp­toms “shall recover.”

Prais­ing God for your heal­ing before your heal­ing, not just by words but with faith like you know it is done because God’s Word says so.  That means you believe in God’s Word about heal­ing and expect that healing.

Be glad and rejoice; for the Lord will do great things.  That means believe in his word.  In con­clu­sion, Faith has to do Only with the Word of God Heb. 10:35–36Heb. 10:35–36

Why Some Loose Their Healing

The Bible says, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seek­ing rest, and find­eth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he find­eth it empty.….” Matthew 12:43–44Matthew 12:43–44

Don’t let the enemy gain reen­try into your life. We he comes seek­ing rest, Put out your “NO VACANCY” sign! Keep your house filled! Here are some prac­ti­cal steps to take to be sure, you are filled when he comes.

How do you keep your house filled and/or pro­tected (you are the tem­ple of the Holy Spirit)?:

1. Pay atten­tion to your thought life espe­cially thoughts of the past. The past should stay in the past.

What does that mean?  Con­tinue to look at the promises of God — He Came to Heal All Dis­eases Ps. 102:2Ps. 102:2

WP-Bible plu­gin.  Some peo­ple reverse this.  Their faith waxes weak while they look at their symp­toms and for­get the promises of God.  God’s Word is the only solid basis for our faith.  But the enemy, after you get healed, will throw symp­toms and you can­not look at the symp­toms and allow doubt to come back in that God healed you.  The enemy throws symp­toms to get your eyes off of Christ so that you will loose faith and look at the symp­toms instead of the Lord.  You stand on the Word that Jesus is the Healer and that you’re healed.

We will miss or loose our heal­ing if we allow our symp­toms to hin­der us from expect­ing what His Word promise is.

WP-Bible plu­gin faith is the things not seen.  Symp­toms are not eter­nal but God’s Word is eter­nal and alive to do what it says to do.  Spir­i­tual War­fare is not believ­ing those symp­toms but believ­ing God’s Word that Christ died on the cross for our sal­va­tion and sick­ness and dis­ease.  So stand and believe with­out wavering.

2. Make sure you are right with God.  Our redemp­tive bless­ings are con­di­tional after we hear the Gospel.  Jesus said repent ye and believe the gospel.  Jesus great com­mand­ment has to do with rela­tion­ships with God, oth­ers and self.  Check to see if you have any bit­ter­ness towards any­one, are you in fear and out of faith, etc.  Dis­ease comes from sep­a­ra­tion and sep­a­ra­tion opens the door for the enemy to inflict.  James says to con­fess your faults to one another.… that ye might be healed.  If I regard iniq­uity in my heart the Lod will not hear me.

3. Areas you are weak, mem­o­rize spe­cific scrip­tures to fight the fiery darts! Exam­ple: I used to project fear for tomor­row. I learned to cast my cares to the Lord accord­ing to 1 Peter 5:71 Peter 5:7

5. Make Pos­i­tive Con­fes­sions - Power in the Tongue brings life or death to oth­ers or to self. You can self curse or curse oth­ers with your words. Are you a neg­a­tive per­son? Do you see the world half empty instead of half full? Neg­a­tive con­fes­sions are lack of faith but doubt and unbe­lief which char­ac­ter­ize demonic influ­ence. Pos­i­tive con­fes­sions are faith expressed. Any other con­fes­sion will open the door for the enemy. (See Mark 11:23Mark 11:23

WP-Bible plu­gin). Do you speak neg­a­tive words over your spouse, your chil­dren and so on?  It is more than pos­i­tive con­fes­sion but it is trust­ing and believ­ing in God’s Word and then con­fess­ing it.  It has to be true  in your heart — a real­ity of truth.

6. Know Who You Are In the King­dom of God! Why Did God Cre­ate You? Who are you in the King­dom of God? What is your Pur­pose? What is your call­ing? What is your des­tiny? What is the Body of Christ’s pur­pose? What is the Lord want­ing to restore? Com­ing Soon!

7. Cru­cify the Flesh Take up your cross daily and fol­low Jesus. (Luke 9:23Luke 9:23

9. Develop a Life of con­tin­u­ous Praise and Prayer Praise silences the enemy. Praise is not an atti­tude of heart; praise is the expres­sion unto God of thank­ful­ness, ado­ra­tion and joy by speak­ing, singing, shout­ing, danc­ing, leap­ing, play­ing musi­cal entrust­ments, clap­ping the hands, etc. Pray in the sprit (in tongues) and also in the under­stand­ing. 10. Main­tain a Life of Fel­low­ship and Spir­i­tual Min­istry!  It is the sheep that wan­ders from the flock that is most endan­gered. Find and ful­fill your func­tion within the body. (See 1 Cor 12:7–141 Cor 12:7–14

11. Com­mit Your­self Totally to Christ Deter­mine that every thought, word and action will reflect the very nature of Christ. Abide in Christ that the fruit of the Spirit might come forth in abun­dance. Demon spir­its are ene­mies of the fruit of the spirit. Faith and trust in God is the great­est weapon against the devil and his lies. (See Eph. 6:16Eph. 6:16

12. Choos­ing friends who are like minded. Think of times you were influ­enced neg­a­tively from oth­ers who are not like minded.

John said in 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all tings that thou mayest pros­per and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

That means sub­mit our­selves to God before He says “resist the devil,” because no one can suc­cess­fully resist the devil until he sub­mits him­self to God.

The con­di­tion of heart that was respon­si­ble for the com­ing of those dis­eases as men­tioned in Deut. 28 is not the right con­di­tion for their removal.  In other words, the con­di­tion of the heart that was respon­si­ble for the curse in that day is not the con­di­tion of heart in which to come to Him for the removal of the curse in our day.

Faith Comes By Hearing

Faith is Not A Feeling

Remem­ber that faith is not always accom­pa­nied by feel­ing. Faith is the sub­stance of things hoped for, the evi­dence of things not seen (Heb.11:1). Whether you are healed instantly or grad­u­ally, hold fast to the promise.

In the Bible we read of some who came to Jesus that ’ ’ as they went they were healed. ’ ’ Just so today there are some who see lit­tle vis­i­ble indi­ca­tion of heal­ing at the moment they are prayed for. But this is the very time to have faith and to hold fast.

If they should wait a moment or so, with­out feel­ing any great surge of heal­ing power and then walk away with down­cast face, saying

The fact is doubt and unbe­lief steals a per­son faith in God to heal them.  Faith comes by hear­ing.  If you are fight­ing with doubt and unbe­lief, then get in the Word and Read God’s Promises Until You Have The Faith to Believe for Your Healing.

WP-Bible plu­gin is var­i­ously defined as “trust,” “firm per­sua­sion,” “belief,” “con­fi­dence,” or “con­vic­tion.” But the writer of Hebrews informs us it is “the sub­stance of things hoped for, the evi­dence of things not seen.”

Doubt and unbe­lief are pro­jected by the devil into our minds.  You have to believe in what you hear that heal­ing is for today.  Many times we run to doc­tors for our heal­ing.  That is things seen.  God’s way are things unseen.

Accord­ing to thy faith be it done unto thee. Do not fix your eyes upon your own con­di­tion or sur­round­ings. Fix your eyes on Jesus; have faith and walk to meet Him in glad­some love and ser­vice, and the answer will come.  That is get­ting your eyes off of self or on the cir­cum­stances of what is seen to get­ting your eyes on Jesus to the things we can­not see. 

We are promised 70 + years of life.

Ps. 90;10 “The days of our years are three­score years and ten; and if by rea­son of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sor­row; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

Deliv­er­ance from God

Jesus Many times cast out demons and healed the sick.  There is a con­nec­tion between sick­ness and demons. At least 80 per­cent of dis­ease is related to sin and the demonic.  Jesus came to set the cap­tives free but it does take faith to believe God does heal today through Jesus Christ.

If you want to know if God wants to heal you, I would say yes he wants to heal you unless you are old in age — your phys­i­cal body.  Now, our spirit does not grow old or decay.

You can plainly see that this verse clearly defines that it is God’s will or desire for every per­son to live at least 70 to 80 years upon the earth. In other words every man is appointed the same num­ber of years to live on the earth, which is clearly shown in God’s word to be a min­i­mum of 70 to 80 years of age.

God’s will for All of us is to live a full life and healed from sick­ness and dis­ease. It is not God’s will for our lives to be cut short in any way.

This should clar­ify that the Lord does want to heal you.  If a per­son dies before his appointed time, then the devil did kill, steal and destroy him (John 10:10John 10:10

WP-Bible plu­gin).  We are needed on earth to touch oth­ers and bring life. 

So, we need to believe in His word that heal­ing is for today.  If you are sick, stand on the promises of God, fight doubt and unbe­lief and fight for your heal­ing.  It was already done 2000 years ago for you on the cross. You have to appro­pri­ate the word and believe and stand for your healing.

Sin and Sickness Connection

The Power to Forgive

There is a direct con­nec­tion between sin and sick­ness.  Today the church has grown weak and looks at the word sin as a wicked word.  The Word of God says we all have sin and if any­one says they don’t have sin is a liar.

Con­fess Our Sins

Accord­ing to this scrip­ture, espe­cially vs. 9, if we con­fess our sins, he will for­give our sins … He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.  That is why Jesus was sent on earth.  He knew no man could be per­fect even though Jesus was per­fect.  God knew that and wanted to redeem us from the curse of death and sep­a­ra­tion.  He sent His son to die and bore our sins and sick­ness on the cross so that when we do mess up, we can run to Jesus and con­fess our sins and we are cleansed.  Con­fes­sion to Jesus refreshes us.  Amen.

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have com­mit­ted sins, they shall be for­given him. 16 Con­fess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effec­tual fer­vent prayer of a right­eous man availeth much.  

WP-Bible plu­gin it says also to con­fess our sins to one another. “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have com­mit­ted sins, they shall be for­given him.  Con­fess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that ye may be healed.”

We see the sin and sick­ness con­nec­tion.  Oth­er­wise, why would we have this scrip­ture?  As in other scrip­tures, the par­don of sins and the heal­ing of sick­ness are closely united.  James declares that par­don of sins will be granted with the heal­ing; and for this rea­son he desires to see con­fes­sion of sin accom­pany the prayer which claims heal­ing.  Uncon­fessed sin presents an obsta­cle to the prayer of faith or soon the sick­ness may reappear.

Prayer of Faith

Most of us go to a physi­cian for diag­nose the cause of the dis­ease.  If he suc­ceeds he stands a bet­ter chance to com­bat it.  You see our Lord also goes back to the pri­mary cause of all sick­ness that is, sin.  It is our part to con­fess and God’s to grant the par­don which removes this first cause so that heal­ing takes place.  In seek­ing heal­ing by means of earthly reme­dies, the first thing to do is to find a cleaver physi­cian and fol­low his pre­scrip­tions exactly.  If a per­son takes the prayer of faith, fix our eyes on the Lord, allow the Holy Spirit to show us the rea­son why we are sick, then we can con­fess and the spirit of the Lord can heal us.

James points out to us a con­di­tion which is essen­tial to the recov­ery of our health; con­fess and for­sake sin.

Did God put this dis­ease on me?  Where does dis­ease come from?  One, God per­mits it; it is in order to show us our faults, to chasen us, and purify us from them.  Sick­ness and dis­ease is not God’s per­fect will.  Sick­ness was not in the gar­den and death was not in the gar­den.  The source of dis­ease is from the devil and when we sin, he has a legal right to put it on us.  He is out to kill, steal and destroy.  John 10:10John 10:10

WP-Bible plu­gin.  Kill means to bring to death.  Jesus was sent to bring life and for­give­ness to those who ask.  God brought the Israelites out of Egypt to give them life.  Another way of look­ing at sin and sick­ness is that Sick­ness is there­fore a vis­i­ble sign of God’s judg­ment upon sin and Satan car­ries out that judg­ment.  Sin sep­a­rates us from the Father espe­cially when the Lord Jesus Christ is pray­ing for you and stand­ing with His open wide to receive you when you con­fess to Him so that we are par­doned from our sin.

To con­fess our sins is to lay them down before God with the fixed pur­pose to fall into them no more.  When we have con­fessed our sins, we must receive also the promised par­don, believ­ing that God gives it in very deed.  When the soul has con­sented to make a sin­cere con­fes­sion and has obtained par­don, it is ready to lay hold of the promises of God; it is no longer dif­fi­cult to believe that the Lord will raise up His sick one and bring healing.

It is when we keep far from God that it is dif­fi­cult to believe, con­fes­sion and par­don bring us quite near to Him.  Many believ­ers, when they get sick, blame God so they sep­a­rate them­selves with anger and bit­ter­ness towards God instead of stand­ing in faith, going to Him (Jesus) in prayer and mak­ing it right.

Now, many times sick­ness and dis­ease can be inher­ited but many times it is because we open the door to the same sin.  What do I mean.  The Word of God says to love God with all your heart soul and mind, love your neigh­bors as your­self.  How many of you like who you are or wish you were some­one else or maybe you believe God has for­given you but you don’t allow your­self off the hook.  Maybe your mother or father has issues and that spirit went down the gen­er­a­tional line and now you feel the same way about you.  That is uncon­fessed sin.

Two Kinds of Faith

Get An Under­stand of Two Kinds of Faith

There is the nat­ural faith. But the super­nat­ural faith is the gift of God. In Acts 26:19Acts 26:19

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from dark­ness to light, from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive for­give­ness of sins, and inher­i­tance among them which are sanc­ti­fied by faith that is in Me.”

Enoch walked with God. Enoch laid hold of God and he began to move toward heaven. At last it was not pos­si­ble for him to stop any longer.

How do you get faith? By read­ing the Word of God as much as you can receive food for your soul, for the strength­en­ing of your faith, and the build­ing up of your char­ac­ter in God, so that all the time you are changed and made meet to walk with God.

Sec­ond, is pray­ing and inter­ced­ing and putting on the mind of Christ daily in your walk.  It is com­mu­nion with the Lord most high like Enoch did as well as Paul and others.

“With­out faith it is impos­si­ble to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that dili­gently seek him.”

It is impos­si­ble to please Him on any line but faith, for every­thing that is not of faith is sin. God wants us to see that the plan of faith is the ideal and prin­ci­ple of God.

“Look­ing unto Jesus, the author and fin­isher of our faith.” He is the author of faith. God worked through Him for the form­ing of the world. “All things were made by Him, and with­out Him was not any­thing made that was made.” And because of the exceed­ingly abun­dant joy of pro­vid­ing for us so great sal­va­tion, He became the author of a liv­ing faith. And through this prin­ci­ple of liv­ing faith, look­ing unto Him who is the author and fin­isher of our faith, we are going through change into the same image from glory to glory, even by the Spirit of the Lord.

It is always those peo­ple who are full of faith that have a good report, that never mur­mur, that are in the place of vic­tory, that are not in the place of human order but of divine order, since God has come to dwell in them.

How shall we reach this plane of faith? Let go your own thoughts, and take the thoughts of God, the Word of God.  If you build your­self on imag­i­na­tions you will go wrong. You have the Word of God and it is enough.

Take the Word of God seri­ously and real­ize it is just the Word of God but it is the Word of God. The Word of God is inex­press­ible in value, infi­nite in scope, regen­er­a­tive in power, infal­li­ble in author­ity, uni­ver­sal in inter­est, inspired in totality.

The Word of God changes a man when he/she takes it to heart and applies the Word of God into their heart and mind.  In real­ity, when we med­i­tate on His Word, it changes a man until he becomes an epis­tle of God. It trans­forms his mind, changes his char­ac­ter, moves him on from grace to grace, makes him an inher­i­tor of the very nature of God.

In fact it devel­ops a hunger.  How else are you going to know the char­ac­ter and heart beat of the Father if you don’t read and study and med­i­tate on his word.

God comes in, dwells in, walks in, talks through, and sums with him who opens his being to the Word of God and receives the Spirit who inspired it.  You are going to know His will, desire right­eous­ness, hate sin and walk in the fruit of the spirit and with power.

That is the ben­e­fit if spend­ing time with the Father through His word and through prayer and med­i­ta­tion to the Lord.  You are going through change to release the power in Him for the fur­ther­ance of the King­dom of God.

Do you want the mun­dane type of faith or the real faith in God for mir­a­cles, his work, etc.?

All lack of faith is due to not feed­ing on God’s Word. You need it every day. How can you a life of faith? Feed on the liv­ing Christ of whom this Word is full. As you get taken up with the glo­ri­ous fact and the won­drous pres­ence of the liv­ing Christ, the faith of

God will spring up within you. “Faith cometh by hear­ing, and hear­ing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17Romans 10:17

Faith puts us in pos­ses­sion of all that the death of Christ and His res­ur­rec­tion have pro­cured for us, and it is not only in our spirit and our soul that the life of the risen Jesus man­i­fests its pres­ence here below; it is in the body also that it would act accord­ing to the mea­sure of our faith.

God’s Word tells us, “faith comes by hear­ing, and hear­ing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17Rom. 10:17

Today many peo­ple would rather soak then read His word.  To be changed, it by hear­ing and read­ing his word.  To change strong­holds of think­ing is read­ing or hear­ing his Word and through the Holy Spirit giv­ing us rev­e­la­tion to set us free.

Faith in God

The liv­ing Son of God – the Son of His love – came to us with under­stand­ing, min­is­ter­ing the breath of His Father.  We knew a life-giving Spirit.  The moment we believed, we had a new nature, a new life.  Jesus had a won­der­ful word, a sweet influ­ence.  Men saw love in those eyes and were con­victed of sin in His presence.

Also, you can­not look back at your fail­ures.  Nor can you look at your cir­cum­stances in the flesh.  Our answers are spir­i­tual and our faith is based on what is not seen but stand­ing know­ing God is for you and not against you.

Strate­gies to Increase Faith Video

When you increase your faith in Jesus then you can trust Jesus to do the impos­si­ble for you.  Doubt and Unbe­lief is the biggest block to heal­ing, etc.
