Hindrances to Faith & Healing — 3

Part 3 Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to Healing

There are many reasons for hindrances to faith and healing but touching on the highlights some of the reasons.

Next area of Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to healing is Failure to Tithe to God.

We have to realize everything we have comes from God.  So, if it all comes from God, since He is the creator of the universe, why do some rob God.  This brings a curse even though many people say that is not true today and that we do not live the Old Testament.

We are commanded in scripture to bring in our first fruit tot he storehouse.  Mal. 3:8–12Mal. 3:8–12
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. pour…: Heb. empty out 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. destroy: Heb. corrupt 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

WP-Bible plugin
says “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.  And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delight some land, saith the Lord of Hosts.”

What is keeping you from tithing to the Lord?  Is it not believing in God’s word, doubt and unbelief He will take care of you?  Do you believe that tithing was under the law?  Lets remember, before the law, Abraham paid a tithe to Melchizedek and so did Jacob before the law began.  So, that in itself proves tithing belongs to the Lord is not only during the time of the law.

In Luke 6:38Luke 6:38
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

WP-Bible plugin
says “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

When you tithe, you are investing in the eternal perspectives that is forever to your benefit for the Kingdom of God.  Look at it as an investment for your future in eternal things which weigh much more than the things on earth which will all be burned to stubble or not worth anything.

Failure to Confess Faults:

James 5:16James 5:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

WP-Bible plugin
says “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”

We all judge one another but fail to see the faults in our own heart.  We all need to take the time to check our own heart.  How can we know what is in our hearts.  When you read and study the Word and spend time with the Lord, He is gracious to show us areas that need to be dealt with or sanctified or die to our flesh.

We serve a faithful God who is continually working on us but it takes spending time and building a relationship with Him to become more Christ like.  It consist of not judging others.  In fact, scripture talks about not judging others unless you want to be judged.  John 3:18John 3:18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

WP-Bible plugin

18.  There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”

Matthew 7:1–6Matthew 7:1–6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

WP-Bible plugin
and
1 Corinthians 10:23–241 Corinthians 10:23–24
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. 24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

WP-Bible plugin
:

23. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”[a]—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”[a]—but not everything is beneficial. 24. Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.

Unwillingness to confess faults to one another indicates lack of confidence int he power of God to deliver them or there is just a lot of pride and the person is bound to pride.

Hindrances to Faith and Healing– 2

Hindrances to Faith Brings Hindrances to Healing

Part 1 — Overview: sin, disobedience to the voice of god or God’s word, will bring Hindrances to Healing.

More than ever, civilization is now driven by the spirit of rebellion, and the pursuit of “personal freedoms” and “individual rights.”

Other areas that bring Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to Healing:

  • Not submitting to authority (your boss, minister, etc.)
  • Not submitting to her husband
  • Not submitting to government
  • Not submitting to parents

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher power” — The governing authorities.

Not submitting to government system.  “For there is no pwoer but god; the powers that are ordained of God.” Romans 13:1Romans 13:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

13 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. ordained: or, ordered

WP-Bible plugin

Christ continually spoke about God’s government being established on earth. Christians yield to and obey—submit themselves to — government authorities!

As Christians you are subject to obey the appointed authorities over us as long as it does not violate the laws of God.  When a Christian refuses to obey the appointed authorities, then you are resisting and disobeying God!

Rulers are servants of God (even if pagan) since God ordained them with powers to be governing authorities over society.  And to violate civil law are major hindrances to faith and hindrances to healing.

The Word of God is very strong in regards to children not obeying parents.  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father  and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well  with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth, EPH 6:1–3EPH 6:1–3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

WP-Bible plugin
.

This is what Almighty God, who designed the family, has to say about the family.  Children learn obedience at home.  If they don’t, they will not learn it in the world or in society.  Children must learn to see that their parents are training them and bringing them up in “the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  Therefore, it is important for us to receive these directives as the Word of the
living God, not as the opinions of some man.

Wifes submit to their husbands.… read on this

Conclusion:

We are to obey the voice of God, his word and the laws in our society regardless if the rulers are followers of God or not as long as the laws are not against God.

“herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God,a nd toward men.” Acts. 24:16Acts. 24:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

WP-Bible plugin
.  We are to have a Christ-like attitude to those who are not Christians as a light to the World.

In Gal. 6:10Gal. 6:10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

WP-Bible plugin
, do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Part 2

Part 3

Hindrances To Faith and Healing — 1

It is impossible to please the Lord without faith

Heb. 11:6Heb. 11:6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

WP-Bible plugin
“But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

The clue here is seeking him with faith and not allowing doubt and unbelief enter or rule your mind.

Biblical Faith

It is important to walk and talk and live in biblical faith.  Biblical faith is an absolute necessity to receive anything from God.  Could that be the possible reason for unanswered prayers?

Biblical faith is simply believing that God meant what He Said.

Are you standing for loved one for salvation?  Is there doubt and unbelief because of looking at the natural and not the supernatural or what you cannot see happening?

Jesus said, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24Mark 11:24
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

WP-Bible plugin

Faith is believing without evidence of anything happening but believing, because of who our father in heaven is, the creator of the universe, is working on our behalf.  Doubt and unbelief is a big inhibitor.

How about giving up or murmuring and complaining to God?

Faith is praising the Lord, after you have prayed to him or made your need known, that it is already done.  It is a knowing and a trust in the Father of Heaven.

Enemies of Faith

Satan will come to try to steal and that is where discernment comes into play.  Who is talking to you?  Is it Satan or God when standing on a promise, or ask God, etc.

Those who do not believe in God can be enemies of faith and sometimes other christians can be enemies of faith through their doubt and unbelief.

The reason you have trouble believing is you don’t want to believe.  Did you have an earthly father who made promises but never carried them out and so afraid God will do the same?

How about reasoning it away.  Many people are very intellectual and it gets in the way.  It might not make sense to them but a person, who is intellectual, needs to clear that thought way of life out and believe.

Abiding Faith

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God.” Roman 10:17man 10:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

Izbrano poglavje ne obstaja!

WP-Bible plugin

To stand in faith means to abide in Him.  Abiding faith does not mean church membership but those living in the Word of God — Abiding Faith.

If your faith is wavering, the best way to combat the doubt and unbelief, is get the word out and stand and declare and decree His word out loud.  That can really help build faith.

It is getting in His word of His promises and standing on the promises of God, if it is for salvation of a loved one or standing for healing.  Stand and decree His Word to the heavens or meditate on his word — that is abiding in Christ.  Christ is the Word according to John 1.

The Kingdom of God

Second is “seeking the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33Matt. 6:33
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

WP-Bible plugin
.

We need to seek His direction and plan to carry out the plan of God or ask you have made to how to fulfill it.  Many times there are actions we have to do but it takes abiding in Him to know His plan and steps.

Are you seeking answers but still living in your own lust?  “Ye ask,a nd receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts,” James 4:3James 4:3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. lusts: or, pleasures

WP-Bible plugin
.  This is done not in faith.

Those who abide in Christ and His Word abides.

Another Hinderances of Faith is Condemnation — Hindrances to Healing

1 John 3:21–221 John 3:21–22
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

WP-Bible plugin
“If our heart condemns us not, then we have confidence toward God.  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of hm, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”

Until you meet his conditions, keep his commandments, abide in him, then, faith will come to believe.  That means healing in your life, standing for something that is important.

God’s power is enough to heal, as well as to save anyone and everybody but his promises is to heal those who keep His commandments and walk in the statutes.

God does heal unbelievers because God is using it to bring them to salvation.

Conclusion of Part 1:

Living in sin, disobedience to God’s voice or His word, are hindrances to faith.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

We Are All Called To Heal

We Are All Called To Heal — It is Part of the Great Commission

Lay hands on the sick

Mark 16:15–18Mark 16:15–18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

WP-Bible plugin
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. {16} “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. {17–18} “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they… will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

That means, not only salvation, but deliverance and healing is part of the whole according to the Word of God.

Acts 1:8Acts 1:8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. power…: or, the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you

WP-Bible plugin
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

As they went forth in the power of His name, many miracles and healing were accomplished by these disciples, who had followed Jesus. Just as healing was a integral part of Jesus’ ministry it was now to be an integral part of their ministry.  We are all called and have the authority to heal the sick.

Reasons Why Some Do Not Receive Healing — Healing Hindrances

Healing Blocks

1. A Lack of Faith — It takes faith to receive healing — Acts 14:9–10Acts 14:9–10
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

WP-Bible plugin
.

2. Unconfessed and unrepented sin — Isaiah 59:2Isaiah 59:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. have hid: or, have made him hide

English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

WP-Bible plugin
.

3. Being double-minded, doubting — not convinced — James 1:6–8James 1:6–8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

WP-Bible plugin
.

4. Self-indulgence — James 4:3James 4:3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. lusts: or, pleasures

WP-Bible plugin
.

5. Having an indifference towards God and His purpose — Proverbs 1:28–30Proverbs 1:28–30
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

WP-Bible plugin
.

6. Having a disobedient spirit towards God and established authority — 1 Sam. 15:221 Sam. 15:22
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

WP-Bible plugin
, 1 John 3:221 John 3:22
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

WP-Bible plugin
.

7. Building your faith on experience and circumstances rather than the Word of God — Romans 10:17Romans 10:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WP-Bible plugin
.

8. Having a pattern of negatives confessions that are not in agreement with the word of God — 2 Corinthians 4:132 Corinthians 4:13
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

WP-Bible plugin
.

9. Holding to unscriptural teachings — 2 Timothy 2:152 Timothy 2:15
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

WP-Bible plugin
. eg. many people think that sickness and disease is a part of the Christian life because the Bible says we will be afflicted. (See Psalm 34:19Psalm 34:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

WP-Bible plugin
)

10. Partaking communion with unforgiveness towards someone.

1 Corinthians 11:29–301 Corinthians 11:29–30
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. damnation: or, judgment 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

WP-Bible plugin
For anyone who eats and drinks [the Lord’s supper, vs. 20] without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.  If you have unforgiveness towards a brother, go and make peace before partaking in communion.

11.  A big problem with young people is dishonoring parents.  We are told in Eph. 6:2,3Eph. 6:2,3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 Honour thy father and mother; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

WP-Bible plugin
“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” Eph. 6:2, 3Eph. 6:2, 3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 Honour thy father and mother; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

WP-Bible plugin
.

12. Physical causes:

(a) Deficiency of certain food elements necessary to the body’s health.
(b) Over-eating. Gluttony. This can become sin.
© Inactivity. Lack of proper exercise.
(d) Lack of proper rest and recreation.
(e) Careless and negligent exposure to weather and disease.
(f) Wrong, mental and emotional habits, or should we say wrong spiritual habits. Fears, worries, hatred, failure to find rest and peace and trust in Christ.

13. Waivering in their faith.  When not healed, they doubt God’s love for them.

This is not a complete list.

God is Our Righteous Judge

Disease does not come from God or Jesus but from Satan

God, being the Law-giver, the Righteous Judge, and the originator of the Law of Sowing and Reaping, takes the responsibility for the affliction of those who are in sin. In this sense does God send affliction, sickness and disease, etc.?  No, sin, disease, sickness, death comes from God but is a curse.  Satan became a curse and puts a curse on us and Satan is the executor of the Law.  When we sin gives Satan the legal right to inflict sickness and disease.

Flesh dies and spirit lives.  We have a choice to choose walking and living in the flesh or in the spirit.

God promises to heal every sickness and disease, and promises that no diseases shall be upon us, then we should live in divine health.

Sin and Sickness are two fruits from the same tree

Healing is again connected to the Atonement in Scriptures concerning the “Lord’s Supper” or “Communion” in 1 Cor. 11:23–311 Cor. 11:23–31

God sent Jesus to bring Restoration and Healing

If Jesus is the full expression of God, then why did Jesus Never put sickness on even one person? Why did he always remove sickness and disease, rather than put it upon anyone? Jesus had “healing services” everyday, NOT ONCE did He EVER tell anyone to keep their sickness or disease. Any time He mentioned the cause of sickness or disease, He always attributed it to Satan.

Healing is Always God’s Will

It is part of the atonement in the old testament as well as in the new testament.

What Keeps Us From Getting Healed?

The reason anyone is not saved or healed is answered above, they would not do what it takes to find out what to do to be saved or healed, or if they did find out, they would not live by it. It does take faith and the stealer of faith is doubt and unbelief which comes from the Devil.

Three Steps to Action:
A. Revelation– Enlightenment concerning God’s Will (Oh, that’s what God wants me to do, to be, etc.)
B. Conviction– determining where you are in fulfilling God’s Will (Oh, I’m not anywhere near that.)
C. Action– completing the fulfillment of God’s Will (I must do…)

Scriptural Reasons God Heals

Psalm 9 1:14–16 — 14. Because he hath set his love upon me therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour ham 16. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation. (KJV)

In Deuteronomy 28 we are told what will happen if we obey God and what will happen if we disobey God. Healing of every sickness and disease is under the blessings listed if we obey God and those same sicknesses and diseases are listed as the curse that shall come upon us if we do not obey God. If you have sinned and became sick or diseased, it is an easy thing to repent, receive forgiveness and be healed.

Conclusion:

The very word used in the Bible for salvation means health, healing, deliverance, prosperity, peace, and wholeness. Salvation is the all-inclusive word in the Bible which clearly defines Gods attitude and will for us.

Guilt Can Lead to Addiction

Did you know if you’ve been programmed with guilt to believe a lie you are responsible for other people’s happiness which can bring stress leading to addictions to sweets and other types of addictions to deal with the stress which is a false pathway to peace and not God’s way to deal with peace?

Not only does guilt lead to addiction but the spiritual root issues is a need for love.  Many times children grow up in homes that are conditional and full of guilt.  The child grows up with a lot of self condemnation and drivenness to perfection to find love and acceptance.

Fighting Daily Fears

How to Fight Fear, Stress and Worry!

Worry and fear does not come from God but exhaust the power God gives us to face every day problems and to carry out responsibilities. These are sinful wastes.  Fear is not God’s character but comes from the kingdom of darkness.

Fret not—He loves you (John 13:1John 13:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

There is biblical and scientific evidence that the diseases of today are rooted in sin.  Why, it is not trusting God.  1 John 4:181 John 4:18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

WP-Bible plugin
says perfect lovc cast out fear.

Fear is the opposite of faith and fear can manifest in worry, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, OCD, etc.  Continual fear produces dis-ease such as:

Heart disease, skin rashes, anxiety attacks, feeling overwhelmed, heart palpitations, stomach issues such as gurt, back pain, compromised immune system, more colds,  etc.

Again, fear and worry are sin. Fear is a barrier to the promises of God. The scientific community is aware of how our emotions affect our bodies and  fear is the biggest issue. The limbic system is where our protective emotions originate including fear. The process of creating fear takes place unconsciously in the brain then stimulates the entire central nervous system releasing different chemicals — depending on the thought good or bad chemicals.

Part of your brain controls the physical response o fear and sends a signal directly to the amygdala which stimulates the hypothalamus to produce corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) that triggers the pituitary gland’s discharge of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which stimulates the adrenal gland to secrete cortisol.  Cortisol is a death hormone.

Cortisol in the bloodstream causes an increase in glucose production, providing the necessary fuel for the brain and muscles to deal with stress.

  • Cortisol is involved in several body functions including:
  • Proper glucose metabolism
  • Regulation of blood pressure
  • Insulin release for blood sugar maintenance
  • Immune function
  • Inflammatory response

Fear is scientifically proven to be a cause of disease. ScienceDaily (Mar. 26, 2008Mar. 26, 2008
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

) states intense fear can make our blood clot and increase the risk of thrombosis or heart attack… Anxiety patients have a statistically higher risk of dying from heart disease by a factor of 3 or 4.

The Bible says fear results in heart problems: “Men’s hearts are failing for fear.” Luke 21:26Luke 21:26
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

There are Healthy and Unhealthy Fears

Unhealthy fear is not of God but is projected from the kingdom of darkness. Fear and faith are opposites. We cannot run in a spirit of faith and a spirit of fear at the same time. We should not fear, because God is with us. God said He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deu 31:6Deu 31:6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

How do you deal with fear?

When you are fearful about something, cast your cares to the Lord because he cares 1 Peter 5:71 Peter 5:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

WP-Bible plugin
.  He also says not to worry about tomorrow and that the birds, flowers, etc. do not worry so why should we worry.  You have to renew your means through the word of God which is renewing the mind.  The more you counteract the fiery darts from Satan and use the word, you will overcome your fears and every day worries.

Healthy fear helps us avoid life threatening or dangerous situations is God given. Fear is the beginning of wisdom (Ps. 111:10Ps. 111:10

Why Was Job Tested? P1

Job was said to be “perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” (Job 1:1Job 1:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

The Book of Job 1 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

WP-Bible plugin
) “Perfect” doesn’t mean he never sinned, but it means one who holds nothing back from God.

He was totally sincere and dedicated to God. “Upright” refers to his character. He lived in such an honest way that everyone who knew him respected him.

Satan’s Legal Right Inflict Job

As you can see from the scripture above (Proverbs 26:2Proverbs 26:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

WP-Bible plugin
) — that means a curse cannot come on you unless you have an open door — sin and Job’s sin was a spirit of fear.  What was Job’s open door for the enemy to have legal right?

A Curse Causeless Cannot Come

Heb “causeless curse” (KJV similar) describes an undeserved curse (cf. NIV, NRSV). The Hebrew word translated “causeless” means (khanan); it means “without cause; gratuitous.”  Read Deut. 28 Blessings and Curses.

His children (all 10) did not serve the Lord.  Did he have a spirit of fear of man and did not discipline them? He had fear for his children.  Fear is the opposite of faith and his fear was a form of worry which is not from God.

Job Feared Came Upon Him

Let us note the words of Job: “For the thing which I fear cometh upon me, and that which I am afraid of cometh unto me” (3:25). What this verse reveals to us is of tremendous significance. Before these terrible things happened to him, Job already had had fear for his  children.  They were not righteous like him but were sinners.  Instead of Trusting the Lord for his Children, he sacrificed for their sins.

Job 1:5Job 1:5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. continually: Heb. all the days

WP-Bible plugin
says that Job was always offering sacrifices on behalf of his sons in case they had sinned.  His children were living a hypocritical, sexually sinful, drunken, God hating lives.

Did his children honor Job?  Prov. 4:1, Col. 3:20Col. 3:20

WP-Bible plugin
2 The child’s duty to their parents is first to honor, care for and reverence them. Job’s children refused this admonition from God and died young and sent to hell-fire forever.
Job 1:1–2 The Lord said to Satan, behold, all that he (Job) has is in your power only upon himself (body) put not forth your hand. This prohibition by God was later lifted and Satan allowed to attack Job physically for several months.

Job Fearful Over Children’s Sin

Why, because Job was fearful lest his children would die; he was afraid that he might lose all his property. Satan’s first job is to plant this fear in man in a form of worry. If the fear is accepted, things will soon happen; if it is rejected, nothing will come of it. Listen to what Job says here “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.” Job 3:25Job 3:25
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. the thing…: Heb. I feared a fear, and it came upon me

WP-Bible plugin
(NKJV)

Satan has to get one’s consent before he can curse. If this consent is withheld, he cannot work, for man has free will. Without man’s consent, Satan can neither tempt him to sin nor attack him at will. So, in the case of Job, Satan first implanted a little thought of fear in Job. Having once accepted the thought, it made Job tremble.

To think that God would allow Satan to attack us without a cause is absurbed.  What kind of God would do this?  We don’t see anywhere else in scripture of God’s attack except when there is sin of some type — unfaithfulness, doubt, unbelief, etc.

Objective — Why Job Was Tested:

God did not afflict Job, Satan did.  God gave Satan permission. Answer: Isn’t it comforting to know Satan can do nothing without God’s knowledge and permission!   If Satan is attacking us, God allowed it because of open door.Job’s open door which is fear.

The sufferings of Christ point to the same problem: Why? We can dimly perceive how he was “made perfect through suffering,” and how his perfect submission to that suffering laid the eternal foundation for the world’s redemption from all suffering.

All Man Sanctification Process — Dying to Self

Sanctification is a process of trials to get what is not of God out of us or to purify us.  Is there any man on earth or ever on earth who was perfect and without sin?  No not at all.  Suffering is a part of testing but really it is a sanctification process. Job’s testing to see if he would turn against God.  He even had three (3) best friends who accused him.

Paul writes, “…There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is not one who does good, not even one” (Romans 3:10–12Romans 3:10–12
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

WP-Bible plugin
).
The Bible says Job was the best man in all the East. That doesn’t mean that he was righteous and good in God’s sight. He was simply the best man from a human perspective, but even the best man is a sinner in God’s sight, and that includes Job. A sinner has no right-standing or rights with God.

Trials and Tribulations — 3

Continuation of Trials and Tribulations

It cannot be about people but only the Lord regardless what fiery darts coming out of others as accusation, attacking your reputation, betrayal, destruction, etc.  You gotta stand, even in weakness, that God is for you and not against you and that he is all your all.  Even though it feels like you are walking in the shadow of death what I call the dark night of the soul but to not fear no evil according to Psalm 23:4Psalm 23:4
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

WP-Bible plugin

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”  You cannot allow people to rule you but God to rule you.

Many times it does feel like affliction of the soul or your emotions.  Your emotions do go to helter skelter but you gotta hang on that the Lord is doing a new thing and will deliver you according to  Psalm 34:19Psalm 34:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

WP-Bible plugin

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

and that God will supply all your needs emotionally and physically according to Philippians 4:19Philippians 4:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

WP-Bible plugin

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” and that  2 Corinthians 4:162 Corinthians 4:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

WP-Bible plugin
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”

You have choices to make in the dark night of the soul.  That means, determining not to go bitter but count it all joy like I said earlier and praise the Lord like Paul did in Jail and the Lord delivered him.

Otherwise, if you don’t forgive, two things can happen, 1. have feelings of insanity and torment or develop sickness and disease.  Because a broken heart dryth the bones, that is where your immune system is.

Accusations will come that are not true.

I’m sharing this part so whoever reads this going through the fiery darts will realize these are trials and tests of character.  I had to see I could not defend myself but trust God regardless where it took me.  Where I got messed up at first is I thought if I do the right thing everything would correct itself but that is not the case.  Many times it can fall apart regardless how you try to be honorable not talking, not giving any accusation, or anything.

The accusations from those you care about, do break your heart.

Yes, when going through betrayals, accusations and rejection,  you didn’t always do the right thing.  I made many mistakes in this friendship.  Through my brokenness, I had to see and look at my heart and realized I made a lot of mistakes and that I cannot blame the other person but I had to take responsibility and go to the Lord for forgiveness and healing.

Many times friendships are severed forever which do break your heart deeply.  But God has a greater purpose in all of it.  You have to trust God and believe and move on and not get hung up in the past of what if. I had to stand in faith and rejoice regardless of the outcome according to Romans 5:2–5Romans 5:2–5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

WP-Bible plugin

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

I had to see it was a trial and do what the Word says to do and that was to rejoice in our sufferings… A very different concept when your heart is bleeding but did it because it produces endurance, character, hope without shame.  I was doing it out of obedience of being broken and realigned correctly to the Lord.  We serve a jealous God.

In my past, I used to complain about everything.  No more.  I made a decision from what I’ve learned in the last two years was to rejoice in all things regardless how it appeared but to put on my spiritual eyes and stand on Hebrews 11:1Hebrews 11:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

11 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. substance: or, ground, or, confidence

WP-Bible plugin
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Since then, I have found myself again.  I had lost myself and didn’t even know who I was but now I’ve found myself and moving forward with new people and enjoying life to the fullest.

When you go through these trials and tribulations you come out gaining new wisdom according to Romans 11:33Romans 11:33
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

WP-Bible plugin

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!”

When you do go through trials and tribulations it is self dying like Christ.  You are only partaking a very small portion of his suffering but it opens your eyes to what he really and truly went through in killing your flesh to be more like him.

Galatians 2:20Galatians 2:20
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

WP-Bible plugin

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Dying to self is a good thing.  Trials and tribulations brings up the nasty stuff so that you can crucify it with Christ.  In fact it is the best way to deal with the flesh when you go through trials and tribulations.

Satan is the Accuser

Satan is the Accuser of the Brethren

The Court Room of God — How to Receive Forgiveness

Every time we sin, Satan goes to the throne room of God with all these accusations and charges against you — especially your past mistakes. He has a stack of cases against you that goes from the floor to the ceiling and is now going to present them to the Lord to make you guilty of your charges.

Satan goes through the entire list of your sins to the Lord and the Lord is listening to the accusations of Satan. Then the Lord takes these cases against you and goes into his chambers to make a decision. When in His chamber, he opens the door and throws all these cases out because the word says when we repent, then it is forgotten as deep as the sea (Micah 7:19Micah 7:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

) or as far from the east to the west (Psalm 103:12Psalm 103:12
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

WP-Bible plugin
).

The Lord comes out of his chambers and Satan asked the Lord “what is your verdict?” and the Lord answers “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

The Lord says to Satan “This person you are accusing is ‘INNOCENT’ because she or he is my child. I have a purpose and a plan for this person.” “This case is DISMISSED,” says the Lord.

East will never meet West and that is why David says: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12Psalm 103:12

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

). Our sins have not just been taken away but they have been removed an infinite distance from us. As much as East and West cannot meet, so much will our forgiven sin never be confronted by them again once they have been dealt with by the Blood of the Lamb. When children have done something wrong, they instinctively try to hide the evidence instead of going to the Lord and asking forgiveness. That is what the sacrifice of Jesus was for us so that we can go to the father through Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, the Lord has removed our sin so far that they will never return to haunt us.

You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:19Micah 7:19

). At its deepest point, the sea is seven miles deep. It would be impossible to bring things up from that depth and it is so far from the light of the sun that whatever is down there will never be brought to the light. Praise the Lord; He has put our sins down in the deepest, most inaccessible place known to man! (We know, of course, that our sins are not literarily down there, but this is simply a picture to show how far removed our sins are).

Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29John 1:29

If the enemy tries to accuse you again after you have repented, tell him you are forgiven and fight with fire by reminding him his ending – SATAN IS CAST DOWN – (Rev. 12 Verses 7, 8, 9es 7, 8, 9

Why Listen to the Devil

The Devil Speaks but Sounds Like Your Voice

Satan is the “father of lies,” — stop listening to him when you are standing for something in your life.  If healing, salvation for family members, etc.

Praise the Lord when the enemy starts whispering in your ear say things like, “you won’t get healed.”  You start Praising the Lord and tell the enemy, “it is written” “it is written” “it is written” God’s word is truth and I will be healed or my family will be healed.  Tell him to get behind you because he is the father of lies who lies against God’s word.  He wants you doubt but don’t listen.  Stand in faith knowing God is a God of promise and His Word is of Promises and says you will be healed.

That means resist the lies of the devil.  He will even say you are not loved by God.  He will even try to make you feel like a fool and steal your faith, joy, peace in your heart.

If you are doubting, it did not come from God but from the enemies camp so start praising the Lord until you get your faith faith back.  Faith comes by hearing so read God’s word of truth.  Stand and believe and praise the Lord for the answre before the answer.

You have to see you are God’s child and a father wants to give good things to his child.  If needed, repent for having a spirit of doubt and unbelief and get right with the Lord again.

Again, so why listen to the Devil.

God Promises are Only To the Obedient

Jesus, through us, will perform a healing on someone who is not saved to bring them to salvation.

Those who are saved though, it is only to the obedient, those who will “diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord” and “do that which is right in his sight,” that it is said “the Lord will take away from thee all sickness.” (Exod. 15:26Exod. 15:26
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

).

Faith, is the union of our hearts and wills with God’s will and purpose; and where this unity is lacking results are impossible.  This is a very important spiritual law to which, in our times, we have been woefully blind.

God says, of fearing the Lord and departing from evil, “It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones”. (Prov. 3:7–8Prov. 3:7–8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. health: Heb. medicine marrow: Heb. watering, or, moistening

So faith always implies obedience.

Why You Loose Your Healing

The Bible says, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty.….” Matthew 12:43–44Matthew 12:43–44
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Don’t let demons regain reentry into your life. Demons seek rest in you, Put out a sign “No Vacancy”! Keep your house filled with the Word of God! Practical steps to keep your house filled.

How do you keep your house filled and/or protected (you are the temple of the Holy Spirit)?:

1. Pay attention to your thought life especially thoughts of the past. The past should stay in the past but the demonic world wants to remind you of your past to keep you from going forward.

2. Areas you are weak, memorize specific scriptures to fight the fiery darts! Example: I used to project fear for tomorrow. I learned to cast my cares to the Lord according to 1 Peter 5:71 Peter 5:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

. Where do fiery darts come from? Jesus withstood Satan’s temptation by using scripture. The word is a mirror to the soul (James 1:22–25James 1:22–25
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. deed: or, doing

3. Put on the Whole Armour of God The Christian’s spiritual armour is set forth in Ephesians 6:10–18Ephesians 6:10–18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. flesh…: Gr. blood and flesh spiritual…: or, wicked spirits high: or, heavenly 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. having…: or, having overcome all 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

. There are seven pieces: (1) Loins girt about with truth (2) The breastplate of righteousness (3) Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (4) The shield of faith (5) The helmet of salvation, (6) The sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and (7) Praying in the spirit! Pay special attention to the helmet for guarding your thought life. Most demons seeking to re-enter assail the thoughts. Become watchful of any thought that could be considered negative; they are from the enemy. Separate their thoughts from your own. Refuse the thoughts they give you and replace them with positive thoughts. (See Phil 4:8Phil 4:8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. honest: or, venerable

) Resist the devil at the first sign of attack.

4. Make Positive Confessions - Power in the Tongue brings life or death to others or to self. You can self curse or curse others with your words. Are you a negative person? Do you see the world half empty instead of half full? Negative confessions are lack of faith but doubt and unbelief which characterize demonic influence. Positive confessions are faith expressed. Any other confession will open the door for the enemy. (See Mark 11:23Mark 11:23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

WP-Bible plugin
). Do you speak negative words over your spouse, your children and so on?

Note: Remember life and death are in the power of the tongue. It is very important to recognize what comes out of your mouth — Blessings or Curses over others or yourself.  Word are powerful and Words Have Power.

5. Know Who You Are In the Kingdom of God! Why Did God Create You? Who are you in the Kingdom of God? What is your Purpose? What is your calling? What is your destiny? What is the Body of Christ’s purpose? What is the Lord wanting to restore?

6. Crucify the Flesh Take up your cross daily and follow Jesus. (Luke 9:23Luke 9:23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

) Break old habit patterns through God’s Word. If fleshy appetites, desires and lusts are not brought to the cross a way for demons to return will be left open (Gal 5: 19–24Gal 5: 19–24
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. affections: or, passions

). From Romans to Jude is all about Santification. What is Sanctification? Definition of Santification:

Sanctification is that continuous operation of the Holy Spirit, by which the holy disposition imparted in regeneration is maintained and strengthened.

7. Be Willing To Go Into The Fire!

What are areas you are not able to still walk through?

8. Develop a Life of continuous Praise and Prayer Praise silences the demons. Praise is not an attitude of heart; praise is the expression unto God of thankfulness, adoration and joy by speaking, singing, shouting, dancing, leaping, playing musical entrustments, clapping the hands, etc. Pray in the sprit (in tongues) and also in the understanding. (1 Cor 14:141 Cor 14:14
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

WP-Bible plugin
). “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess 5:171 Thess 5:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 Pray without ceasing.

WP-Bible plugin
). Get a journal and write down your victories, blessings, etc. This is helpful when times are tough.

9. Maintain a Life of Fellowship and Spiritual Ministry It is the sheep that wanders from the flock that is most endangered. Find and fulfill your function within the body of Christ at a local church. (See 1 Cor 12:7–141 Cor 12:7–14
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Gentiles: Gr. Greeks 14 For the body is not one member, but many.

WP-Bible plugin
) Keep yourself under godly authority.

10. Commit Yourself Totally to Christ Determine that every thought, word and action will reflect the very nature of Christ. Abide in Christ that the fruit of the Spirit might come forth in abundance. Demon spirits are enemies of the fruit of the spirit. Faith and trust in God is the greatest weapon against the devil and his lies. (See Eph. 6:16Eph. 6:16
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

11. Choosing friends who are like minded. Think of times you were influenced negatively from others who are not like minded.

Look what the Bible says about choosing friends…

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE, says the Lord. AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. Ungodly Order in the Home Create Chaos and Learning Disability

Ungodly Order Connection to Learning Disabilities

When the wife runs the home, the house is out of order.  God is very specific about the order of the home according to The Christian Church cannot flourish without the Christian home.

If you are married, your spouse comes next. A married man is to love his wife as
Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25Ephesians 5:25
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

WP-Bible plugin
).  Here is an example a husband should follow: God first, then his wife. In the same way, wives are to submit to their husbands “as to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:22Ephesians 5:22
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

WP-Bible plugin
). The principle is that a woman’s husband is second only to God in her priorities.

There is a specific reason for this order.  The husband is the covering if the house like Jesus is our covering.  The husband is to protect the house from outside invaders because he is the man and is the stronger one.  Third, spiritually, if he is the head of the house, then he covers and protects the house from the demonic.  Why because the house is in order according to God’s order.

The Christian home is the backbone of the nation.  A Christian home is an institution where parents are bonded together by Christian love, where children are welcome and Spiritually instructed, and the Lord Jesus is not only the supposed head of the home.

When out of order, then confusion comes into the Christian home.  A spirit of confusion comes on your children operating as a curse.  The spirit of confusion invades your children as learning disabilities and homosexuality.

God has placed the husband as head of the home Gen. 18:19Gen. 18:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

WP-Bible plugin
. Abraham commanded his household faithfully. The household includes the wife, children, and servants.

Eph. 5:23Eph. 5:23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

WP-Bible plugin
, “For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church.”

This is God’s order and the home that reverses it breaks God’s plan and destroys the peace of that home.

This does not mean that the wife is a slave beneath the husband’s feet. She is an help

This isn’t mere respect. This is the tremendous love of I Cor. 13, loving in health, in sickness, in poverty, and in posterity.

Wives, if your husband is  out of order or is making wrong decisions, you keep your mouth shut and go to the Lord for the Lord to communicate to your husband.  If you do this, your trust will grow, God will bring more peace, etc.

Now, if the husband asks your advise, you have a right to your opinion or thoughts about issue but he is the ultimate decision maker and whatever he decides, you have to honor his decision even when it is wrong.

When a wife nags or corrects a husband, it only puts the husband in defense and only creates division and confusion in the household.  More things are done in prayer.  You see God is the husband’s covering and when you overstep your boundaries of the order, then you are interfering in God’s ways.  For the wife, it only shows the wife lacks trust in her husband or God.  Read Proverbs 31 in which gives great instructions to the wife.

Now, the husband is required to be faithful to his wife. We live in an age of lax moral standards and easy divorce and infidelity. The standards of God have not changed. God still demands honesty, frankness, and faithfulness between the partners contracting marriage.

It is the husband’s duty to comfort his wife in time of sorrow, I Sam. 1:8am. 1:8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

WP-Bible plugin
.  Even though most husbands are very detached emotionally, they should support their wives and give them strength because they are their covering.

He should consult with his wife on business matters, for they are a team.  Like I said earlier, wives should be consulted on but whatever decision he makes, she has to honor his decision regardless if she thinks it is right or wrong.

Why Some Loose Their Healing

The Bible says, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty.….” Matthew 12:43–44Matthew 12:43–44
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

WP-Bible plugin

Don’t let the enemy gain reentry into your life. We he comes seeking rest, Put out your “NO VACANCY” sign! Keep your house filled! Here are some practical steps to take to be sure, you are filled when he comes.

How do you keep your house filled and/or protected (you are the temple of the Holy Spirit)?:

1. Pay attention to your thought life especially thoughts of the past. The past should stay in the past.

What does that mean?  Continue to look at the promises of God — He Came to Heal All Diseases Ps. 102:2Ps. 102:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

WP-Bible plugin
.  Some people reverse this.  Their faith waxes weak while they look at their symptoms and forget the promises of God.  God’s Word is the only solid basis for our faith.  But the enemy, after you get healed, will throw symptoms and you cannot look at the symptoms and allow doubt to come back in that God healed you.  The enemy throws symptoms to get your eyes off of Christ so that you will loose faith and look at the symptoms instead of the Lord.  You stand on the Word that Jesus is the Healer and that you’re healed.

We will miss or loose our healing if we allow our symptoms to hinder us from expecting what His Word promise is.

Hebrews 11:1Hebrews 11:1
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

11 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. substance: or, ground, or, confidence

WP-Bible plugin
faith is the things not seen.  Symptoms are not eternal but God’s Word is eternal and alive to do what it says to do.  Spiritual Warfare is not believing those symptoms but believing God’s Word that Christ died on the cross for our salvation and sickness and disease.  So stand and believe without wavering.

2. Make sure you are right with God.  Our redemptive blessings are conditional after we hear the Gospel.  Jesus said repent ye and believe the gospel.  Jesus great commandment has to do with relationships with God, others and self.  Check to see if you have any bitterness towards anyone, are you in fear and out of faith, etc.  Disease comes from separation and separation opens the door for the enemy to inflict.  James says to confess your faults to one another.… that ye might be healed.  If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lod will not hear me.

WP-Bible plugin

English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

4. Put on the Whole Armour of God The Christian’s spiritual armour is set forth in Ephesians 6:10–18Ephesians 6:10–18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. flesh…: Gr. blood and flesh spiritual…: or, wicked spirits high: or, heavenly 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. having…: or, having overcome all 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

WP-Bible plugin

WP-Bible plugin
) Resist the devil at the first sign of attack.

It is more than positive confession but it is trusting and believing in God’s Word and then confessing it.  It has to be true  in your heart — a reality of truth.

6. Know Who You Are In the Kingdom of God! Why Did God Create You? Who are you in the Kingdom of God? What is your Purpose? What is your calling? What is your destiny? What is the Body of Christ’s purpose? What is the Lord wanting to restore? Coming Soon!

7. Crucify the Flesh Take up your cross daily and follow Jesus. (Luke 9:23Luke 9:23
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

) Break old habit patterns.

WP-Bible plugin
). From Romans to Jude is all about Santification. What is Sanctification? Definition of Santification:

Sanctification is that continuous operation of the Holy Spirit, by which the holy disposition imparted in regeneration is maintained and strengthened.

8. Be Willing To Go Into The Fire!

What are areas you are not able to still walk through? Make a list to discuss. See notes!

9. Develop a Life of continuous Praise and Prayer Praise silences the enemy.

14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

). Get a journal and write down your victories, blessings, etc. This is helpful when times are tough. Coming Soon!

10. Maintain a Life of Fellowship and Spiritual Ministry!  It is the sheep that wanders from the flock that is most endangered. Find and fulfill your function within the body.

WP-Bible plugin
) Keep yourself under authority. Coming Soon!

And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me, Says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:14–182 Corinthians 6:14–18
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

John said in 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all tings that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

That means submit ourselves to God before He says “resist the devil,” because no one can successfully resist the devil until he submits himself to God.

The condition of heart that was responsible for the coming of those diseases as mentioned in Deut. 28 is not the right condition for their removal.  In other words, the condition of the heart that was responsible for the curse in that day is not the condition of heart in which to come to Him for the removal of the curse in our day.

Satan is a Liar

Are You Hearing Lies

How many of you have been prayed for healing and later don’t think you’ve been healed.

Jesus did the work on the cross 2000 years ago. So what gets in the way?

Satan is a Liar and the Father of Lies

Satan is a liar. He comes and tells you that you are not healed, it may be taken as good evidence that the Lord has sent His Word and healed you (Ps. 107:20Ps. 107:20
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

WP-Bible plugin
). The Devil knows that if he can capture your thought life, he has won a mighty victory over you. His business is injecting thoughts, but if you are pure and holy, you will instantly shrink from them.

The Devil is a Liar

You see we as Christians see evidence with our naturual eye when many times it is a spiritual battle. You have to stand and claim that healing and stand for it even though there is manifestations saying otherwise.

Many people are held bound by deceptive conditions, these conditions have come about simply because they have allowed the Devil to make their minds the place of his strongholds. How are we to guard against this?

The Lord provided us with weapons that are mighty through God for pulling down these strongholds of the Enemy (2 Cor. 10:42 Cor. 10:4
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

4 through God: or, to God

WP-Bible plugin
), by means of which every thought will be brought “into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (v. 5).

That is the antiodte to all the subtle seeds of unbelief that Satan would sow in your mind.

If you received healing, don’t look with your minds eye but stand on God’s Word that it is done and fight for it and fight those thoughts with the Word. Those injected thoughts from the Devil are fiery darts talked about in Ephesians 6.

You have to stand, claim and believe it is done. It was already done 2000 years ago but you must believe and not go by sight, or feelings or emotions but what God’s word says.

You see death and sickness is not from the kingdom of God. Before Adam and Eve fell, there was no sickness and disease. God didn’t create death and disease. It comes from the kingdom of darkness. Jesus was sent to redeem, restore, heal and deliver all who are oppressed by the devil. When you are sick, then the kingdom of darkness is inflicting you. You have the authority to renounce it and kick it out and claim your healing.

May God help us to get our eyes off the conditions and symptoms, whether it is our situation or the person you are praying for, no matter how bad they may be and get them fastened on Him.

Healing is for today and Jesus said we would do greater works than Him.

God is compassionate and says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found” (Isa. 55:6Isa. 55:6
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

WP-Bible plugin
). He has further stated, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts. 2:21Acts. 2:21
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

WP-Bible plugin
). Seek Him now, call on His name. There is forgiveness, healing, redemption, deliverance for those who cry out to Him. Why because He loves you and cares to set you free.

Praise the Lord without waiting to feel better, or to have more faith. Praise Him, and say with David, “O Lord, my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou hast healed me” better, or to have more faith. (Psalm 30:2Psalm 30:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

WP-Bible plugin
)
. Divine healing is a spiritual grace which can only be received spiritually and by faith, before feeling its effect on the body. Accept it, then, and give glory to God.

How To Have A Victorious Life

How To Have A Victorious Life In Christ

Fill your head and your heart with the Scriptures. Take the time each day to read God’s Word.  Realize God’s Word is the Lord Manifested in the Word.  Memorize passages from the Word, with the name of the book, the chapter, and the verse, so that you can quote the scripture correctly.  As you do this, you are sowing in your heart seeds which the Spirit of God can germinate. He can bring to your remembrance from time to time that which you have once memorized.

A Quote from a Famous Preacher, Smith Wigglesworth says “You must soak your mind  (your soul)with the Word of God, you must fill it, that you are a living epistle, known and read of all men. Believers are strong only as the Word of God abides in them. The Word of God is spirit and life to those who receive in simple faith, and it is a vivified of all who own its sway. Know your Book, live it, believe it, and obey it. Hide God’s Word in your heart. It will save your soul, quicken your body, and illumine your mind. The Word of God is full and last, infallible, reliable, and up-to date, and our attitude towards it is one of unquestioned obedience. If a thing is in the Bible it is so; it is not even to be prayed about; it is received and acted upon. Inactivity of faith is a robber which steals blessing. Increase comes by action, by using what we have and what we know. Your life going from faith to faith.”

The Second thing to do is spending time with God by getting alone with God for spiritual renewing.  Jesus did it when he was on earth.  We read several times that he would get away to spend time alone with God.  If you want great anointing and great power to move mountains, it takes reading His Word, Studying His Word, and Memorizing His Word.

Why do we read about so many men in the faith falling?  I asked the Lord and He told me because they got to busy to spend time with God.  How can the Lord convict souls if they are not being intimate with the Lord!  When you spend quality alone time with God, you get close and He reveals secrets to you — great revelation of His Word.  He imparts great anointing for the Work of the Ministry.

It is only through God’s Word are we truly transformed into the image of Christ.

Third ingredient is humility.  A person must realize, when they have great anointing, is to stay humbled but not only that to be moved with compassion.

Fourth ingredient is have a hatred for sin and be a lover of righteousness — God’s righteousness.  That means putting away the things of the world and becoming a servant of the Lord Most High.

Fifth, stay hungry for the Lord and His presence.

Quote from Smith Wigglesworth:

Anyone can be ordinary,he would say, but a person filled with the Holy Spirit must be extraordinary.

Sixth, be filled with the Holy Spirit and stay filled daily.

The power that raised Him from the dead must animate us, and as this glorious resurrection power surges through your being, you will be freed from all your weaknesses and you will become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. There is a resurrection power that God wants you to have and to have it today. Why not? Receive your part here and now.

Seven, obedience to Christ at all cost.  Don’t get caught up and fear of man.  You don’t have time for fear of man or their opinions.  Those people will not save you and so God is the most important person you want to please in your life.

Ye Shall Receive Power

Spiritual Warfare Prayer

Spiritual Warfare Prayer

The Father of Heaven through Jesus Christ Gives Power — Ye Shall Receive Power

“Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” The disciples had asked whether the Lord would at that time restore again the kingdom to Israel. Christ told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father had put in His own power, but He promised them that when they received the Holy Ghost they should receive power to witness for Him in all the world. To receive the Holy Ghost is to receive power with God, and power with men.

There is power in God and satan has power but it is no match to God’s power.  I’ve been in deliverance ministries for years and I still cannot get over how many ministers give so much power to the Devil when God is greater.  You see you need to see in the spirit the finished Word Jesus did on the cross and what authority he has given us.

The Lord wants all saved people to receive power from on High–power to witness, power to act, power to live, and power to show forth the divine manifestation of God within. The power of God will take you out of your own plans and put you into the plan of God and away from what you believe is the plan. God’s plan is always perfect.

The Lord will change you and put His mind where yours was, and thus enable you to have the mind of Ye Shall Receive Power 31 Christ. Instead of you laboring according to your own plan, it will be God working in you and through you to do His own good pleasure through the power of the Spirit within. The secret is obedience no matter how weird it might seem. Obedience is the ingredients of doing it God’s way and not your way.

Christ must reign within, and the life in the Holy Ghost means at all times the subjection of your own will to make way for the working out of the good and acceptable and perfect will of God within.  The Holy Spirit has to fill you.

When the Holy Spirit comes in He comes bringing power to empower you as an effective witness.

The Holy Spirit will come cleanse you and purge of the old life.  I never saw anyone baptized who was not clean within.

When the Holy Spirit comes He always brings a rich revelation of Christ. Christ becomes so real to you that, when, under the power of the Spirit, you begin to express your love and praise to Him, you find yourself speaking in another tongue.

“It is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me” (Galatians 2:20Galatians 2:20
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

WP-Bible plugin
).

God wants witnesses, witnesses to the truth, witnesses to the full truth, witnesses to the fullness of redemption–deliverance from sin and deliverance from disease–by the eternal power working in them, as they are filled with life through the Spirit.

A man filled with the Holy Spirit is no longer an ordinary man. A man can be swept by the power of God in the first stage of the revelation of Christ so that from that moment he will be an extraordinary man. The Holy Spirit must fill you to become a free body for God to dwell in, and to use, and to manifest Himself through.

The mission of the Holy Ghost is to give us a revelation of Jesus and to make the Word of God life unto us as it was when spoken by the Son–as new, as fresh, as effective as if the Lord Himself were speaking.

As we read the Word of God each day, it should come to us like a breath from God.  The Word itself giveth life; the Spirit of the Lord, breathing through, revealing by the Word, giving it afresh to us, makes the Word alive today.  The Word of God transforms our mind to demonstrate we are more like him, to think like him and to walk like him with power.

Some of you have suffered with sickness and disease either body, soul or spirit because you have a limited revelation of Jesus, of the fullness of life in Him or don’t believe healing is for today.  Instead we say, it is God’s will I’m sick.  No way is it God’s will for a man have sickness.  If so, why are you going to a doctor for your sickness or disease?  Some of you say healing is not for today.  People, I have to tell you otherwise, The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Seek this vision from God, and keep it ever before you, seek to know him, seek to read and study His Word — He is the Word. Pray the prayer that the apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians believers, as recorded in Ephesians 1:17–19Ephesians 1:17–19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: in…: or, for the acknowledgement 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, his mighty power: Gr. the might of his power

WP-Bible plugin
, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe.”

Two Kinds of Faith

Get An Understand of Two Kinds of Faith

There is the natural faith. But the supernatural faith is the gift of God. In Acts 26:19Acts 26:19
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

WP-Bible plugin
Paul is telling Agrippa of what the Lord said to him in commissioning him.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.”

Enoch walked with God. Enoch laid hold of God and he began to move toward heaven. At last it was not possible for him to stop any longer.

How do you get faith? By reading the Word of God as much as you can receive food for your soul, for the strengthening of your faith, and the building up of your character in God, so that all the time you are changed and made meet to walk with God.

Second, is praying and interceding and putting on the mind of Christ daily in your walk.  It is communion with the Lord most high like Enoch did as well as Paul and others.

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

It is impossible to please Him on any line but faith, for everything that is not of faith is sin. God wants us to see that the plan of faith is the ideal and principle of God.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” He is the author of faith. God worked through Him for the forming of the world. “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.” And because of the exceedingly abundant joy of providing for us so great salvation, He became the author of a living faith. And through this principle of living faith, looking unto Him who is the author and finisher of our faith, we are going through change into the same image from glory to glory, even by the Spirit of the Lord.

It is always those people who are full of faith that have a good report, that never murmur, that are in the place of victory, that are not in the place of human order but of divine order, since God has come to dwell in them.

How shall we reach this plane of faith? Let go your own thoughts, and take the thoughts of God, the Word of God.  If you build yourself on imaginations you will go wrong. You have the Word of God and it is enough.

Take the Word of God seriously and realize it is just the Word of God but it is the Word of God. The Word of God is inexpressible in value, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, inspired in totality.

” Read it through. Write it down. Pray it in. Work it out. And then pass it on.” Quoted by Smith Wigglesworth

The Word of God changes a man when he/she takes it to heart and applies the Word of God into their heart and mind.  In reality, when we meditate on His Word, it changes a man until he becomes an epistle of God. It transforms his mind, changes his character, moves him on from grace to grace, makes him an inheritor of the very nature of God.

In fact it develops a hunger.  How else are you going to know the character and heart beat of the Father if you don’t read and study and meditate on his word.

God comes in, dwells in, walks in, talks through, and sums with him who opens his being to the Word of God and receives the Spirit who inspired it.  You are going to know His will, desire righteousness, hate sin and walk in the fruit of the spirit and with power.

That is the benefit if spending time with the Father through His word and through prayer and meditation to the Lord.  You are going through change to release the power in Him for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

Do you want the mundane type of faith or the real faith in God for miracles, his work, etc.?

All lack of faith is due to not feeding on God’s Word. You need it every day. How can you a life of faith? Feed on the living Christ of whom this Word is full. As you get taken up with the glorious fact and the wondrous presence of the living Christ, the faith of

God will spring up within you. “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17Romans 10:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WP-Bible plugin
).

Faith puts us in possession of all that the death of Christ and His resurrection have procured for us, and it is not only in our spirit and our soul that the life of the risen Jesus manifests its presence here below; it is in the body also that it would act according to the measure of our faith.

Father, We at Healing Touch of God stand against divorce in every way. Help us to hate it as much as you  do.  Father, We acknowledge that satan is a defeated foe. He is void of any  power. For Jesus conquered him and made an open show of him, humiliating him in  front of all our enemies. And we as believers, have been given all power and  authority over the enemy and his lies. For your Word says that all authority had  been given to you and that you gave it to us. Your word says that we are  co-heirs with Jesus, and that we are seated together with Him in the heavenly  realms. Far above all power, principalities, authorities and the rulers of  darkness in this present world and in the one to come. The enemy is under our  feet. Therefore we are putting satan and all the demons of hell on notice right  now that we are standing in the full authority of the Name of Jesus that was given to us and that they are loosed from their assignment against the marriage  of ___________________________________ (fill in the blank with the name of the  family you are praying for).

We cover this marriage with the precious blood of Jesus and we confess that this  is a pure and godly marriage. That _______________________(names of the couple  you are praying for) are actually one flesh, for this is written in God’s Word.  We call them back to the covenant relationship with the spouse that God has  placed them with. We call them back to their homes and say that they will not  break covenant with the wife/husband of their youth. We break the hold that the  enemy has on their mind and we bring all their thoughts captive to the lordship  and obedience of Jesus Christ. We lose them to think on things which are just,  lovely, pure, honest, holy and of good report. If there is any virtue, if there  is any praise, these are the things they will think on.

The lies of the enemy we expose. They shall know the truth and the truth shall  set them free. For it is for freedom that Christ has died, therefore they stand  firm and do not allow themselves to be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.  Arise and shine O sleeper, for the glory of the Lord shines among you .We call  _______________________ (names of the people you are praying for), to take their  rightful, God-ordained place in the family. Father, we pray that their will,  will line up with Your will. We pray that their spirits will be stirred up  within them to be pleasing in Your eyes, Lord. Give them a burning desire to  grow closer to You in every way, and teach them obedience, Lord. Save them from  themselves and from their enemies. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear what  the Holy Spirit is speaking to them. May their spouses and their families be  always in their mind and thoughts, always before their eyes. May they think on  them every waking moment and when they go to sleep. May their thoughts towards  them be good, and just and may they long for them, Lord. Oh, may their hearts  break at the thought of being separated from them even one more day.

Father God, we thank you ahead of time for repairing this marriage in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Amen.

Does Stress Damage the Body Soul and Spirit?

What is Stress

A  state resulting from a stress; especially: one of bodily or mental tension resulting from factors that tend to alter an existent equilibrium <job-related stress, many others types of stress> — basically it takes you out of peace into fear.  Stress is worry and anxiety over a person, situation or thing for that day or for tomorrow.  It is something that captures your thoughts.

The bible says stress is a spirit of fear.  The Lord knew we would all be dealing with stress and 365 times in the bible it says “Fear Not”.  Why because fear does not come from God.  It comes from the kingdom of Darkness.  The devil knows if he can get you in fear, he can shut you down.

When a person is in stress or fear for long periods of time a significant number of people also suffer with anxiety, depression, insomnia, alcohol and drug abuse.

Long-term stress is dangerous to your health.  In fact, stress has affects on brain areas that play a critical role in learning and memory like foggy brain syndrom.  This effects the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.

When a person is in stress for long periods of time, a stress hormone, such as cortisol and norepinephrine, releases in the body.  Cortisol is known as a death hormone.  It affects the heart, causes high blood pressure and creates disease such as diabetes.

A person who has suffered from long-term traumatic events such as living with a family member who explodes all the time and you never know when or what will set this person off.

Stress Responsive Hormonal Systems

When under stress, your body releases in the brain and throughout the body Norepinephrine and cortisol.  Norepinephrine sharpens the sense, raise the level of fear, increases heart rate and blood pressure — fight or flight.  The norepinephrine is similar to a fire alarm that alerts all areas of the brain simultaneously.

Cortisol aids in survival by redistributing energy when an individual is under attack such as a snake crossing your path.  It also increases heart rate and blood pressure, but shunting energy to the brain and muscles to speed up thought processes and fight or flee.  After the episode, the chemical shuts off.

When a person grew up in fight or flight, their bodies continue to release cortisol into the body.  Chronic high cortisol levels cause gastric ulcers, thinning of the bones and possibly brain damage and many different types of diseases.

Traumatic events can result in brain damage and impaired memory problems because of the damage in the Hippocampus part of the brain.

Not only the brain the health of a person affected.  When cortisol is high continually, a person’s moods affected, leading to depressing and feelings of fatigue.  Stress also impairs the immune system (allergies, environmental issues because of too much , which can lead to an increase in infections and possibly increased rates of cancer.  Many people with MCS/EI have high levels of cortisol in their bodies as a result of a broken heart.  Someone important broke their heart when they were youth through either emotional abuse, physical abuse or sexual abuse.  Elevations in cortisol lead to increased deposition of intra-abdominal fat; this type of fat always associated with a higher mortality than obesity in general.

Over all, stress also has effects on the cardiovascular system, which increase the risk for heart disease.  Cortisol adversely affects atherosclerosis, and elevations in norepinephrine may have direct effects on heart rhythms, leading to sudden death.  Patients with depression (related to stress) and heart disease are about five times more likely to have sudden death without depression.

What do we do with stress, fears and anxiety?

First, you must realize fear is a spirit from the kingdom of darkness.  It is the oposite of faith in God but the opposite of not trusting God or the Lord Jesus Christ.

Meditation on the Word of God

The Bible is filled with incredible promises from God. Meditating on these words of assurance can dispel our worry, doubt, fear and stress. Here are just a few examples of the Bible’s stress relieving verses:2 Peter 1:32 Peter 1:3
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: to: or, by

Matthew 11:28–30Matthew 11:28–30
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

WP-Bible plugin

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.”(NLT)

John 14:27John 14:27

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

WP-Bible plugin

“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”(NLT)

It is building trust in God and trusting God in all of our circumstances in life.  1 Peter 5:71 Peter 5:7

says “cast our cares to Him because he cares for me. ”

As Christians we need to learn to cast our cares to Him and allow Him to carry our burdens.  There is nothing else you can do but trust Him.  God always works it out for us.  That means “Let Go and Let God”.

Allow Christ to Change You

Are You Allowing Christ to Change You?

Because you get saved does not end there.  We are being transformed daily by His Word.  He can make us overcomers by dwelling in us by His mighty power and destroying the power of sin.  He can transform us until we “love righteousness and hate wickedness” (Ps. 45:7Ps. 45:7
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

), so that we can be holy.

Christian Obedience

We receive sonship because of His obedience.  There are two types of Christians — obedient Christians and disobedient Christians.  The obedient Christian receive so much of the Lord himself.  “He learned obedience by the things which He suffered” (Heb. 5:8Heb. 5:8
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

).  They reviled Him and tried to kill Him by stoning Him, but He, Jesus, passed through the midst of the whole crowd.  Then He saw a blind man and healed him as He was going through.

Being Transformed Into The Image of Christ

This power of the new creation, this birth unto righteousness (is a gift of righteousness) by faith in the Atonement, can transform and change you  until you are controlled, dominated, and filled with the Spirit of Jesus.  Though you are still in the body, you are governed by the Spirit, with “fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life” (Rom. 6:22Rom. 6:22
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

WP-Bible plugin
).  He was a firstfruits for us.

Christ loved you when you were yet a sinner, and He seeks your love in return.  He imparts to you an in-wrought love by the Holy Spirit, changing you from faith to faith, from glory to glory.

How Can We Get More Faith?

Hope and Faith

God’s Word tells us, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17Rom. 10:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WP-Bible plugin
).  Faith is a gift.  We receive our inheritance by faith.  We are spiritual children – “children of God without fault” (Phil. 2:15Phil. 2:15
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; harmless: or, sincere ye shine: or, shine ye

WP-Bible plugin
).  May God manifest this in us by the power of His might.

Today many people would rather soak then read His word.  To be changed, it by hearing and reading his word.  To change strongholds of thinking is reading or hearing his Word and through the Holy Spirit giving us revelation to set us free.

Faith in God

The people said to Jesus, “Blessed is the womb that bore You” (Luke 11:27Luke 11:27
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

WP-Bible plugin
).  But Jesus said, “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!  (v. 28).  This blessed Christ of God!  They said, “No man ever spoke like this Man!’ (John 7:46John 7:46
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

WP-Bible plugin
).  He does not speak as the scribes speak; He teaches us as one having authority.” (See Matthew 7:29Matthew 7:29
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

WP-Bible plugin
).

The living Son of God – the Son of His love – came to us with understanding, ministering the breath of His Father.  We knew a life-giving Spirit.  The moment we believed, we had a new nature, a new life.  Jesus had a wonderful word, a sweet influence.  Men saw love in those eyes and were convicted of sin in His presence.

Also, you cannot look back at your failures.  Nor can you look at your circumstances in the flesh.  Our answers are spiritual and our faith is based on what is not seen but standing knowing God is for you and not against you.

Occult Practices Forbidden

Nine Forbidden Practices in the Word of God

THE OCCULT.

The word “occult” refers to what is hidden, concealed, or secret. The occult involves the spirit world — but the spirit world of darkness. The occult is particularly deceptive because the spirit world is very real. Practitioners are dealing with reality – but dark, forbidden and evil reality.

There are two kinds of spiritual reality. The first is God’s spiritual kingdom of truth and light where Christ is King, the nature of which is “

righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit ” (Romans 14:17Romans 14:17
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

WP-Bible plugin
), and where God’s holy angels dwell, worship, and serve
Him. The second is the world of Satan (a fallen angel); a world of deceit and hopelessness, void of God, where other fallen angels ( demons) who hate God, work to advance this evil kingdom under their leader, Satan.

God forbids 9 practices in His word. The occult as He warns the Israelites to avoid and abhor it. Pronouncing it as “towebah,” God, in His wisdom, lays out the Nine Forbidden Practices. They are:

1) Human Sacrifice – We call that abortion  today!
2) Divination – The Heart of the occult. Manipulation  from demonic sources.
3) Astrology – We either trust God or the  Zodiac but not both!
4) Enchanter – Someone satanically endowed  to produce seductive spells.
5) Witchcraft and Witches – Includes its modern, organized counterpart, Wicca.
6) Charmer – One who manipulates objects or beings via demonic power.
7) Consulter with Familiar Spirits – One who gleans knowledge from demonic  contact.
8) Wizards – Practitioners of magical arts
9) Necromancers – Those who claim to be in contact with the dead.

Furthermore, Romans 1:32Romans 1:32

WP-Bible plugin
declares that those who entertain  themselves with the images of evil, including the many brands of occult-based  entertainment, are under the same judgment and curse as those who actually  perform the occult deeds! Wow!

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication,  wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Doesn’t that sound exactly like our culture today; having pleasure in or being entertained by the very things that God condemns?

Examples of occult practices

Examples of occult practices (this is far from an
exhaustive list):

  • Stilling or emptying the mind, meditating, focusing on one thought or object to attain a peaceful state or subjective spiritual
    experience.
  • Visualizing the breath moving in unnatural ways.
  • Speaking with the dead, including prayers to saints or entering trance states to speak with dead people, pets or Mother Mary (necromancy).
  • Channeling spirits and prophesying in another voice.
  • Channeling animal spirits: roaring like a lion, etc.
  • Passing electrical currents or waves of heat through laying on hands.
  • Speaking to demons or angels. This is part of the problem with deliverance ministries. Telling angels and demons where to go was the work of ancient magicians who used wands to order them about. Now, Charismatics send them to the abyss, or to a waterless place, etc.
  • Waving flags to keep demons away, or anointing with oil.
  • Calling down a spirit to feel its ecstatic influence (soaking in the spirit, called samadhiin yoga).
  • Submit to a spirit it so it can have its way with you
    (manifestations, spiritual drunkenness).
  • Calling down spirit to work with it—dig in the heart, etc.
  • Seeking supernatural knowledge from dreams or visions.
  • Waiting for ‘prophetic words’ or supernatural insight into peoples’ illnesses or problems (taught in Alpha) .
  • Casting spells or curses.
  • Breaking off spells or curses (reverse voodoo).
  • Yoga, Tai Chi, Reiki and Acupuncture which channel ‘spiritual’ energies (as they imagine).
  • Attempting to develop supernatural prophetic powers such as gifts of healing or prophetic gifts (divination).
  • Developing spiritual eyes (called ‘opening the third eye’ in yoga) to see angels and demons (clairvoyance).
  • Conjuring gold dust and ‘manna’ miracles (pure Magick)

Occult worship includes endless repetition of verses in a song so the meaning is lost and one enters into a dulled state.

Not everything that manifest in the spirit is from God.  Learn to discern.

Men and women find and commune with their spiritual Father in 3 ways, and this is what true, life-giving spirituality is all
about:

  1. Reading, learning and studying the Father’s  Word—the Bible.

  1. Praying to the Father with thoughtful, intelligent prayer.

  1. Doing the Father’s will; i.e., walking in obedience.

Any degree of occult involvement can produce problems of oppression, depression, despair, hopelessness and many physical problems, sometimes bringing self-destruction, even death.

Demonic influence can produce obsession, phobias, bizarre behavior, violence, homicide and sexual perversion. Worse, it can deceive a person into eternal darkness. The occult is a form of idolatry and a sin expressly forbidden by God (Deuteronomy 18:9–12Deuteronomy 18:9–12
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

How To Appropriate the Benefits of the Promises of God

How to appripriate the benefits promised is to accept the promises of God through faith.

Either His word is true or not but you have to realize you are in a war.  Sometimes it is a fight to get the prize or win the war and receive the benefits of the promise.

If you believe then ask the Lord without wavering and it shall be done for you because God loves you and will prosper you in everything that you ask him.

If you are hindered in getting your answer, do not lose faith and blame God for not giving it to you or not receiving what you are asking whether it is an answer to prayer, need for healing in your own life, etc.

You must remember there is a devil with many demons will try to keep you from being prosperous.  You should fight and resist Satan and he will fee (Jas. 4:7Jas. 4:7

What I do is proclaim the promises of God over my life.  I will stand even though I don’t see the answer and even if I don’t see any results. I sometimes feel as though I wrestle to get my answer but we are in a war.

Recently I was attacked with my health and felt as though my body was attacking itself.  I had tremendous pain in my legs, swelling in my legs, and extreme chronic tiredness.  I had to fight my way back.  I proclaimed I was healed daily and did not lose faith.  I believed it was an attack.

First thing I realized was the attack was from an open door.  I had guilt over something in the past or an old programming.  That programming was concerned or false burden bearing over another person.  I cared what my actions would do and affect this other person.  I had to see it and confess it to the Lord.  God has to be number one and it was holding me back to the fulfillment of the will of the father.

After I repented for the false responsibility manifesting as guilt, I stood strong before the Lord and proclaimed my healing.  My healing was slow and it was a fight but I knew it was done on the cross.

Daily I would get up and thank the Lord for my healing.  I was not going to allow the enemy in over my life.  I knew the false responsibility was taxing my health and allowed the enemy to attack my body.  I was going to win no matter what.

Sometimes I was discouraged but at times I would just pray in the spirit and then proclaim healing over me and victory in Jesus.  Just praying in the spirit caused my faith to rise up and stand strong before the Lord with the confidence that the Lord would heal me but I acted as if I was already healed.

As the days past, my strength returned and the swelling stopped.  I thanked the Lord daily for little evidence of healing but praised him for the complete healing.  I was going to win this battle.  Thank you Jesus for helping me to win this battle.

“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Commit thy way unto he Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.”

Same thing when we pray for salvation of loved ones or other issues we need answers from the Lord.  It is like the story of Jacob before he saw his brother Esau.

All night Jacob wrestled with the angel, making supplication for a blessing. The angel seemed to be resisting his prayer, by continually calling his sins to his remembrance, at the same time endeavoring to break away from him. Jacob was determined to hold the angel, not by physical strength, but by the power of living faith. In his distress Jacob referred to the repentance of his soul, the deep humility he had felt for his wrongs. The angel regarded his prayer with seeming indifference, continually making efforts to release.”

When we are waiting for blessings or answers in prayer or healing, sometimes you do feel as though you wrestle with self.  We are in a war and need to have an attitude of war when it comes to receive blessings, answers or healing from the Lord.

If you are in a habit of running every time the battle goes against you, you will never get what you want.

Why Sometimes Even in the Battle Still No Answer

If you do not obey tot he letter what you know to do, how can you expect these blessings.  Do you give up easily in the fight?  Are you easily discouraged.  Make a decision to obey God, make a decision that all double-mindedness and failure must be stopped.

All The Promises of God

Maintain an attitude of faith, ignore any feeling, thought or happening that is contrary to the answer.  Stay positive in faith.  Strengthen yourself by reading Psalms and other scriptures to stay encouraged.  Remember not all your thoughts are yours but Satan and his many demons projecting thoughts to discourage you.  You simply have to refuse any negative thought.  Learn to tear down negative thoughts or distinguish negative thoughts with the Word or cast them down according to 2 Cor. 10:52 Cor. 10:5
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; imaginations: or, reasonings

The Power of Prayer and Fasting

Also, it might be necessary to pray and fast until you get an answer from God.  That means getting alone with the Lord, giving up food and pressing in with Him until you know you have a release or answer.

Remember faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not see (Heb. 11:1Heb. 11:1

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he,.… He is not the man his mouth speaks or declares him to be, but what his heart thinks; which is discovered by his looks and actions, and by which he is to be judged of, and not by his words;

My question to you is do you allow the word of God to mold you or what others or what you believe about yourself mold you.

. Our Lord said, “Hear, and understand: Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.

God has always been especially concerned about man’s heart or mind.

What man holds in his mind has a tremendous effect upon his physical body. This is true because God’s laws of cause and effect work in all realms–the spiritual, the mental, and the physical. No effect is without its cause; no cause is without its effect.

There is real evidence to support the idea that many of our diseases and physical breakdowns are a result of our thinking. The body becomes ill or breaks down as it reacts to excessive stresses.

Diseases that are brought on by mental attitudes are known as psychosomatic diseases. The name comes from combining the word “psycho” which means mind and the word “soma” which means body. Although the mind has had its influence upon man’s body through the centuries it is only during the past thirty years or so that psychosomatic medicine has come into real prominence.

Eighty per cent of the people who come to them are suffering from physical ailments brought on by man’s thinking.

Christ’s teachings are of the positive, constructive type, and these foster not only good spiritual health, but good mental health, and good physical health as well. It is rather thrilling to realize that modern men of medicine are saying.

That is why forgiveness is so important for good health.

Our actions are the blossoms of thought, and both joy and suffering are their fruits; thus does a man gather the sweet and bitter fruitage of his own choices.

It takes renewing of our minds through the Word of God, meaning reading, believing, obedience, etc.

Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed, by the renewing of our minds.” (Romans 12:2Romans 12:2
English: King James Version (1611) — KJV

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

WP-Bible plugin
)

That word “renew” means to replace something old with something new. To “make over by substitution” would be an accurate phrase. It is the discarding of old information not by the process of erasure, but by the process of replacement. Only as you program the heart with Gods word are those old choices, which always satisfy self, replaced with new choices which always glorify God.

To do that, He has to apply the word directly to those places in the life where the presence of sin interferes with Gods working His will.

Hurt By Others: How to Cope

Healing and Deliverance Ministry

Mend a Broken Heart

My tears trickled slowly down my cheek not knowing how to handle these negative emotions.

Have you ever been hurt deeply by someone you trusted and believed in for many years? Did the friendship die and seemed impossible to restore back? A breakup in dating relationship, divorce or even loss of a long-term friendship.

Though the pain isn’t a physical one there are many physical stresses (from emotional stress) that seem to come from this mental struggle. Grief is a powerful feeling and it may seem impossible to move forward with your life.

Even though you might have been in survival mode and/or protective mode from all the hurts and pains of accusation from someone you trusted, did you feel some how responsible, but when you looked at the big picture, could not find a better solution to the problem?

Are you hammered by feelings of past regrets, deep sadness, loss and sometimes deep guilt at times?

If you suffer from past regrets, do you go back into the past looking for a solution? Getting stuck in the land of regrets is a form of self-pity. Many times a person gets stuck in regrets playing over in their heads “if only I did this” things would be different. What is done is done and it is time to move forward with your life.

If you have deep sadness and loss, is it because of what happened and you still feel the shock of it all? What I mean bewildered by the thought the friendship is dead? Feeling sad after such an event is perfectly normal and you may need to give yourself a little time to recover. It is grief and morning like a real death. Give yourself time to grieve over the loss. Try to remember the good times instead of the negative.

It might be necessary to remove the reminders of the person. Set up good boundaries, take care of yourself, be good to yourself and forgive yourself and fight those feelings of regret and take control of your thought life by casting down those thoughts of past regrets. In 1 Cor. 10 it says to cast down all vain imaginations.…

You have to see that sometimes breakup in friendships or marriages sometimes is something out of our control. Trust God to heal you but first and most important is to forgive yourself.

Once you have begun to feel your focus move away from the painful reminders you may want to allow yourself the time to figure out what went wrong in your relationship. In many cases both individuals made certain mistakes that may have caused the ending.

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. on: or, to The First Epistle General of Peter 1 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, abundant: Gr. much 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, for you: or, for us 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; to the end: Gr. perfectly 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: For: or, For that 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. without me: or, severed from me 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another. 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. Satan and Demons who cause the disease can also remove them under certain circumstances.   They will hold men in defeat and sickness as long as possible. God alone can deliver from their power, unless they relinquish their hold on men of their own accord. Jesus taught us in Mt. 12:43–45Mt. 12:43–45

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Satan the executor of the the law of sin, sickness and death not God.  In my years of ministry, it is funny that God gets the blame for disease and when someone passes early in life, they give God the credit for their death.  The Lord promised us 70 + years and anyone who dies before that time, it is a curse and the enemy took them out.
