The Court Room of God — How to Receive Forgiveness

Every time we sin, Satan goes to the throne room of God with all these accu­sa­tions and charges against you — espe­cially your past mis­takes. He has a stack of cases against you that goes from the floor to the ceil­ing and is now going to present them to the Lord to make you guilty of your charges.

Satan goes through the entire list of your sins to the Lord and the Lord is lis­ten­ing to the accu­sa­tions of Satan. Then the Lord takes these cases against you and goes into his cham­bers to make a deci­sion. When in His cham­ber, he opens the door and throws all these cases out because the word says when we repent, then it is for­got­ten as deep as the sea (Micah 7:19Micah 7:19

The Lord comes out of his cham­bers and Satan asked the Lord “what is your ver­dict?” and the Lord answers “I don’t know what you are talk­ing about.”

The Lord says to Satan “This per­son you are accus­ing is ‘INNOCENT’ because she or he is my child. I have a pur­pose and a plan for this per­son.” “This case is DISMISSED,” says the Lord.

WP-Bible plu­gin). Our sins have not just been taken away but they have been removed an infi­nite dis­tance from us. As much as East and West can­not meet, so much will our for­given sin never be con­fronted by them again once they have been dealt with by the Blood of the Lamb. When chil­dren have done some­thing wrong, they instinc­tively try to hide the evi­dence instead of going to the Lord and ask­ing for­give­ness. That is what the sac­ri­fice of Jesus was for us so that we can go to the father through Jesus Christ for the remis­sion of sin, the Lord has removed our sin so far that they will never return to haunt us.

It would be impos­si­ble to bring things up from that depth and it is so far from the light of the sun that what­ever is down there will never be brought to the light. Praise the Lord; He has put our sins down in the deep­est, most inac­ces­si­ble place known to man! (We know, of course, that our sins are not lit­er­ar­ily down there, but this is sim­ply a pic­ture to show how far removed our sins are).
