Are You Allow­ing Christ to Change You?

Because you get saved does not end there.  We are being trans­formed daily by His Word.  He can make us over­com­ers by dwelling in us by His mighty power and destroy­ing the power of sin.  He can trans­form us until we “love right­eous­ness and hate wicked­ness” (Ps. 45:7Ps. 45:7

Chris­t­ian Obedience

We receive son­ship because of His obe­di­ence.  There are two types of Chris­tians — obe­di­ent Chris­tians and dis­obe­di­ent Chris­tians.  The obe­di­ent Chris­t­ian receive so much of the Lord him­self.  “He learned obe­di­ence by the things which He suf­fered” (Heb. 5:8Heb. 5:8

Being Trans­formed Into The Image of Christ

This power of the new cre­ation, this birth unto right­eous­ness (is a gift of right­eous­ness) by faith in the Atone­ment, can trans­form and change you  until you are con­trolled, dom­i­nated, and filled with the Spirit of Jesus.  Though you are still in the body, you are gov­erned by the Spirit, with “fruit to holi­ness, and the end, ever­last­ing life” (Rom. 6:22Rom. 6:22

Christ loved you when you were yet a sin­ner, and He seeks your love in return.  He imparts to you an in-wrought love by the Holy Spirit, chang­ing you from faith to faith, from glory to glory.
