Part 3 Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to Healing

There are many reasons for hindrances to faith and healing but touching on the highlights some of the reasons.

Next area of Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to healing is Failure to Tithe to God.

We have to realize everything we have comes from God.  So, if it all comes from God, since He is the creator of the universe, why do some rob God.  This brings a curse even though many people say that is not true today and that we do not live the Old Testament.

We are commanded in scripture to bring in our first fruit tot he storehouse.  Mal. 3:8-12 says “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.  And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delight some land, saith the Lord of Hosts.”

Hindrances to Faith in the Area of Tithing

What is keeping you from tithing to the Lord?  Is it not believing in God’s word, doubt and unbelief He will take care of you?  Do you believe that tithing was under the law?  Lets remember, before the law, Abraham paid a tithe to Melchizedek and so did Jacob before the law began.  So, that in itself proves tithing belongs to the Lord is not only during the time of the law.

In Luke 6:38 says “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

When you tithe, you are investing in the eternal perspectives that is forever to your benefit for the Kingdom of God.  Look at it as an investment for your future in eternal things which weigh much more than the things on earth which will all be burned to stubble or not worth anything.

Hindrances to Faith: Failure to Confess Faults:

James 5:16 says “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”

We all judge one another but fail to see the faults in our own heart.  We all need to take the time to check our own heart.  How can we know what is in our hearts.  When you read and study the Word and spend time with the Lord, He is gracious to show us areas that need to be dealt with or sanctified or die to our flesh.

We serve a faithful God who is continually working on us but it takes spending time and building a relationship with Him to become more Christ like.  It consist of not judging others.  In fact, scripture talks about not judging others unless you want to be judged.  John 3:18

“18.  There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”

Matthew 7:1-6 and 1 Corinthians 10:23-24:

23. You say, I am allowed to do anything ”but not everything is good for you. You say, I am allowed to do anything but not everything is beneficial. 24. Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.

Unwillingness to confess faults to one another indicates lack of confidence in the power of God to deliver them or there is just a lot of pride and the person is bound to pride.

Hindrances to Biblical Faith Brings Hindrances to Healing

Part 1 – Overview: sin, disobedience to the voice of god or God’s word, will bring Hindrances to Healing also lacking biblical faith.

More than ever, civilization is now driven by the spirit of rebellion, and the pursuit of personal freedoms and individual rights.

Other areas that bring Hindrances to Faith and Hindrances to Healing:

  • Not submitting to authority (your boss, minister, etc.)
  • Not submitting to her husband
  • Not submitting to government
  • Not submitting to parents

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher power” – The governing authorities.

Not submitting to government system.  “For there is no pwoer but god; the powers that are ordained of God.” Romans 13:1

Christ continually spoke about God’s government being established on earth. Christians yield to and obey submit themselves to  government authorities!

As Christians you are subject to obey the appointed authorities over us as long as it does not violate the laws of God.  When a Christian refuses to obey the appointed authorities, then you are resisting and disobeying God!

Rulers are servants of God (even if pagan) since God ordained them with powers to be governing authorities over society.  And to violate civil law are major hindrances to faith and hindrances to healing.

The Word of God is very strong in regards to children not obeying parents.  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father  and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well  with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth, EPH 6:1-3.

This is what Almighty God, who designed the family, has to say about the family.  Children learn obedience at home.  If they don’t, they will not learn it in the world or in society.  Children must learn to see that their parents are training them and bringing them up in “the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  Therefore, it is important for us to receive these directives as the Word of the
living God, not as the opinions of some man.

Conclusion:

We are to obey the voice of God, his word and the laws in our society regardless if the rulers are followers of God or not as long as the laws are not against God.

“herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.” Acts. 24:16.  We are to have a Christ-like attitude to those who are not Christians as a light to the World.

In Gal. 6:10, do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of biblical faith.”

Keys to Biblical Faith

It is impossible to please the Lord without faith

Heb. 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

The clue here is seeking Mim with faith and not allowing doubt and unbelief enter or rule your mind.

Biblical References Faith

It is important to walk and talk and live in biblical faith.  Biblical faith is an absolute necessity to receive anything from God.  Could that be the possible reason for unanswered prayers?

Biblical faith is simply believing that God meant what He Said.

Are you standing for loved one for salvation?  Is there doubt and unbelief because of looking at the natural and not the supernatural or what you cannot see happening?

Biblical Verses Faith: Jesus said, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

Faith is believing without evidence of anything happening but believing, because of who our father in heaven is, the creator of the universe, is working on our behalf.  Doubt and unbelief is a big inhibitor.

How about giving up or murmuring and complaining to God?

Faith is praising the Lord, after you have prayed to him or made your need known, that it is already done.  It is a knowing and a trust in the Father of Heaven.

Enemies of Faith

Satan will come to try to steal and that is where discernment comes into play.  Who is talking to you?  Is it Satan or God when standing on a promise, or ask God, etc.

Those who do not believe in God can be enemies of faith and sometimes other christians can be enemies of faith through their doubt and unbelief.

The reason you have trouble believing is you don’t want to believe.  Did you have an earthly father who made promises but never carried them out and so afraid God will do the same?

How about reasoning it away.  Many people are very intellectual and it gets in the way.  It might not make sense to them but a person, who is intellectual, needs to clear that thought way of life out and believe.

Abiding Faith

Biblical Verses Faith: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God.” Roman 10:17

To stand in faith means to abide in Him.  Abiding faith does not mean church membership but those living in the Word of God – Abiding Faith.

If your faith is wavering, the best way to combat the doubt and unbelief, is get the word out and stand and declare and decree His word out loud.  That can really help build faith.

It is getting in His word of His promises and standing on the promises of God, if it is for salvation of a loved one or standing for healing.  Stand and decree His Word to the heavens or meditate on his word – that is abiding in Christ.  Christ is the Word according to John 1.

The Kingdom of God

Second is “seeking the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33.

We need to seek His direction and plan to carry out the plan of God or ask you have made to how to fulfill it.  Many times there are actions we have to do but it takes abiding in Him to know His plan and steps.

Are you seeking answers but still living in your own lust?  “Ye ask,a nd receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts,” James 4:3.  This is done not in faith.

Those who abide in Christ and His Word abides.

Another Hinderances of Faith is Condemnation – Hindrances to Healing

1 John 3:21-22 “If our heart condemns us not, then we have confidence toward God.  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of hm, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”

Until you meet his conditions, keep his commandments, abide in him, then, faith will come to believe.  That means healing in your life, standing for something that is important.

God’s power is enough to heal, as well as to save anyone and everybody but his promises is to heal those who keep His commandments and walk in the statutes.

God does heal unbelievers because God is using it to bring them to salvation.

Expect God to heal the sick – Blocks to Healing

We Are All Called To Heal Others – It is Part of the Great Commission

We are all called to heal through the laying of hands on the sickness.

Who said we are called to heal!  Jesus said in Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. {16} “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. {17-18} “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they… will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

We Are All Called to Heal through the Laying of Hands on the Sick – Blocks to Healing

That means, not only salvation, but deliverance and healing is part of the whole according to the Word of God.  The answer yes, we are all called to heal the sick through the laying of hands. 

Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

As they went forth in the power of His name, many miracles and healing were accomplished by these disciples, who had followed Jesus. Just as healing was a integral part of Jesus ministry it was now to be an integral part of their ministry.  We are all called and have the authority to heal the sick

Reasons Why Some Do Not Receive Healing – Blocks to healing

Healing Blocks

1. A Lack of Faith are blocks to healing – It takes faith to receive healing – Acts 14:9-10.

2. Unconfessed and unrepented sin are blocks to healing – Isaiah 59:2, Psalm 66:18.

3. Being double-minded, doubting  are blocks to healing –  not convinced – James 1:6-8.

4. Self-indulgence are blocks to healing – James 4:3.

5. Having an indifference towards God and His purpose are blocks to healing – Proverbs 1:28-30.

6. Having a disobedient spirit towards God and established authority – 1 Sam. 15:22, 1 John 3:22.

7. Building your faith on experience and circumstances rather than the Word of God – Romans 10:17.

8. Having a pattern of negatives confessions that are not in agreement with the word of God – 2 Corinthians 4:13.

9. Holding to unscriptural teachings – 2 Timothy 2:15. eg. many people think that sickness and disease is a part of the Christian life because the Bible says we will be afflicted. (See Psalm 34:19)

10. Partaking communion with unforgiveness towards someone.

1 Corinthians 11:29-30 For anyone who eats and drinks [the Lord’s supper, vs. 20] without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.  If you have unforgiveness towards a brother, go and make peace before partaking in communion.

11.  A big problem with young people is dishonoring parents.  We are told in Eph. 6:2,3  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Eph. 6:2, 3.

12. Physical causes which are blocks to healing:

(a) Deficiency of certain food elements necessary to the bodys health.
(b) Over-eating. Gluttony. This can become sin.
(c) Inactivity. Lack of proper exercise.
(d) Lack of proper rest and recreation.
(e) Careless and negligent exposure to weather and disease.
(f) Wrong, mental and emotional habits, or should we say wrong spiritual habits. Fears, worries, hatred, failure to find rest and peace and trust in Christ.

13. Waivering in their faith.  When not healed, they doubt God’s love for them.

God is Our Righteous Judge Over All The Earth

Disease does not come from God or Jesus but from Satan

God, being the Law-giver, the Righteous Judge, and the originator of the Law of Sowing and Reaping, takes the responsibility for the affliction of those who are in sin. In this sense does God send affliction, sickness and disease, etc.?  No, sin, disease, sickness, death comes from God but is a curse.  Satan became a curse and puts a curse on us and Satan is the executor of the Law.  When we sin gives Satan the legal right to inflict sickness and disease.

Flesh dies and spirit lives.  We have a choice to choose walking and living in the flesh or in the spirit.

God promises to heal every sickness and disease, and promises that no diseases shall be upon us, then we should live in divine health.  Why because God is our righteous judge.

Sin and Sickness are two fruits from the same tree

Psalms 103:2-6 – 2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles. 6. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. (KJV)

When we sin habitually and continually, Satan is the accuser and goes to the throne of God to get permission to inflict us because Satan is the executor of the Law of God.

James 5:13-20 – 13. Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. 14. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.

Jesus Treated Sin And Sickness The Same. He Removed Them

Sin – Luke 7:48-50  48. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50. And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. (KJV)

What Jesus did: Isa. 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24 – Who his own self bare our sins in his body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed. (KJV)

The words used for healed each time was a word that was only used for physical healing. This was by no mere chance.

Healing is again connected to the Atonement in Scriptures concerning the Lord’s Supper or Communion in 1 Cor. 11:23-31.

God sent Jesus to bring Restoration and Healing so God is Our Righteous Judge.

If Jesus is the full expression of God, then why did Jesus Never put sickness on even one person? Why did he always remove sickness and disease, rather than put it upon anyone? Jesus had healing services everyday, NOT ONCE did He EVER tell anyone to keep their sickness or disease. Any time He mentioned the cause of sickness or disease, He always attributed it to Satan.

Healing is Always God’s Will

It is part of the atonement in the old testament as well as in the new testament.

What Keeps Us From Getting Healed?

The reason anyone is not saved or healed is answered above, they would not do what it takes to find out what to do to be saved or healed, or if they did find out, they would not live by it. It does take faith and the stealer of faith is doubt and unbelief which comes from the Devil.

Three Steps to Action:
A. Revelation- Enlightenment concerning God’s Will (Oh, thats what God wants me to do, to be, etc.)
B. Conviction- determining where you are in fulfilling God’s Will (Oh, I’m not anywhere near that.)
C. Action- completing the fulfillment of God’s Will (I must do)

Scriptural Reasons God Heals

Psalm 9 1:14-16 – 14. Because he hath set his love upon me therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour ham 16. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation. (KJV)

In Deuteronomy 28 we are told what will happen if we obey God and what will happen if we disobey God. Healing of every sickness and disease is under the blessings listed if we obey God and those same sicknesses and diseases are listed as the curse that shall come upon us if we do not obey God. If you have sinned and became sick or diseased, it is an easy thing to repent, receive forgiveness and be healed.

Conclusion:

The very word used in the Bible for salvation means health, healing, deliverance, prosperity, peace, and wholeness. Salvation is the all-inclusive word in the Bible which clearly defines Gods attitude and will for us.

A Spirit of Guilt Leads to Addiction

Overcoming Guilt

Did you know if you’ve been programmed with guilt to believe a lie you are responsible for other people’s happiness which can bring stress leading to addictions to sweets and other types of addictions to deal with the stress which is a false pathway to peace and not God’s way to deal with peace?

A spirit of guilt is a demonic spirit that does not come from God.  It is a tormenting spirit and it is a spirit that makes you feel unclean.  Guilt is one of the most destructive force tot he soul, whether it be guilt toward the Lord or toward other persons.  It carries a feeling “I have failed God,”.  Many times guilt feels like a conviction but guilt never comes from God.  Guilt also connects with a spirit of shame.

Living with extreme spirit of guilt can break down the immune system producing disease in your body.  Or, it can take you to addictions to food as comfort to deal with a spirit of guilt.  Overcome guilt through Jesus Christ when you understand a Guilt is a Spirit and you have the power to cast it down.  2 Corin. 10:4-5.

Not only does guilt lead to addiction but the spiritual root issues is a need for love.  Many times children grow up in homes that are conditional and full of guilt.  The child grows up with a lot of self condemnation and drivenness to perfection to find love and acceptance.

How To fight FearsHow to Fight Fear, Stress and Worry!

 

Worry and fear does not come from God but exhaust the power God gives us to face every day problems and to carry out responsibilities. These are sinful wastes.  Fear is not God’s character but comes from the kingdom of darkness.

Fret not He loves you (John 13:1)

Faint note He holds you (Psalm 139:10)

Fear not He keeps you (Psalm 121:5)

There is biblical and scientific evidence that the diseases of today are rooted in sin.  Why, it is not trusting God.  1 John 4:18 says perfect lovc cast out fear.

Fear is the opposite of faith and fear can manifest in worry, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, OCD, etc.  Continual fear produces dis-ease such as:

Heart disease, skin rashes, anxiety attacks, feeling overwhelmed, heart palpitations, stomach issues such as gurt, back pain, compromised immune system, more colds,  etc.

Again, fear and worry are sin. Fear is a barrier to the promises of God. The scientific community is aware of how our emotions affect our bodies and  fear is the biggest issue. The limbic system is where our protective emotions originate including fear. The process of creating fear takes place unconsciously in the brain then stimulates the entire central nervous system releasing different chemicals – depending on the thought good or bad chemicals.

Part of your brain controls the physical response o fear and sends a signal directly to the amygdala which stimulates the hypothalamus to produce corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) that triggers the pituitary gland’s discharge of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which stimulates the adrenal gland to secrete cortisol.  Cortisol is a death hormone.

Cortisol in the bloodstream causes an increase in glucose production, providing the necessary fuel for the brain and muscles to deal with stress.

  • Cortisol is involved in several body functions including:
  • Proper glucose metabolism
  • Regulation of blood pressure
  • Insulin release for blood sugar maintenance
  • Immune function
  • Inflammatory response

Fear is scientifically proven to be a cause of disease. ScienceDaily (Mar. 26, 2008) states intense fear can make our blood clot and increase the risk of thrombosis or heart attack Anxiety patients have a statistically higher risk of dying from heart disease by a factor of 3 or 4.

The Bible says fear results in heart problems: Men’s hearts are failing for fear. Luke 21:26.

There are Healthy and Unhealthy Fears

Unhealthy fear is not of God but is projected from the kingdom of darkness. Fear and faith are opposites. We cannot run in a spirit of faith and a spirit of fear at the same time. We should not fear, because God is with us. God said He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deu 31:6).

How do you Fight Fears?

When you are fearful about something, cast your cares to the Lord because he cares 1 Peter 5:7.  He also says not to worry about tomorrow and that the birds, flowers, etc. do not worry so why should we worry.  You have to renew your means through the word of God which is renewing the mind.  The more you counteract the fiery darts from Satan and use the word, you will overcome your fears and every day worries.

Healthy fear helps us avoid life threatening or dangerous situations is God given. Fear is the beginning of wisdom (Ps. 111:10).

My favorate scripture is “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7)

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”; (2 Cor 10:5)

“That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days” (Deut 30:20a)

How to Fight Fears: Quench Out Fiery Darts From the Kingdom of Darkness

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16).

How to Fight Fears: Praise God During Times of Stress

Instead of freting, learn to praise the Lord in all situations and also be content in all things realizing God is for you and not against you and is working out your situation.  Faith is an active word believing in what you cannot see.  It is the confidence in God and not yourself that everything will turn out ok.

Proverbs 26:2 “… A Curse Causeless Cannot Come…”

Job was said to be “perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” (Job 1:1) “Perfect” doesn’t mean he never sinned, but it means one who holds nothing back from God.

He was totally sincere and dedicated to God. “Upright” refers to his character. He lived in such an honest way that everyone who knew him respected him.

Why Did Job Suffer?  Satan’s Legal Right Inflict Job

As you can see from the scripture above (Proverbs 26:2) – that means a curse cannot come on you unless you have an open door – sin and Job’s sin was a spirit of fear.  What was Job’s open door for the enemy to have legal right?

Why Did Job Suffer? A Curse Causeless Cannot Come

Heb causeless curse (KJV similar) describes an undeserved curse (cf. NIV, NRSV). The Hebrew word translated causeless means (khanan); it means without cause; gratuitous.  Read Deut. 28 Blessings and Curses.

His children (all 10) did not serve the Lord.  Did he have a spirit of fear of man and did not discipline them? He had fear for his children.  Fear is the opposite of faith and his fear was a form of worry which is not from God.

What Job Feared Came Upon Him

Let us note the words of Job: “For the thing which I fear cometh upon me, and that which I am afraid of cometh unto me” (3:25). What this verse reveals to us is of tremendous significance. Before these terrible things happened to him, Job already had had fear for his  children.  They were not righteous like him but were sinners.  Instead of Trusting the Lord for his Children, he sacrificed for their sins.

Job 1:1-2 The Lord said to Satan, behold, all that he (Job) has is in your power only upon himself (body) put not forth your hand. This prohibition by God was later lifted and Satan allowed to attack Job physically for several months.

Job Fearful Over Children’s Sin

Why did Job Suffer?  Because Job was fearful lest his children would die; he was afraid that he might lose all his property. Satan’s first job is to plant this fear in man in a form of worry. If the fear is accepted, things will soon happen; if it is rejected, nothing will come of it. Listen to what Job says here “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.” Job 3:25 (NKJV).  Fear is the opposite of faith.  Fear comes from another kingdom.

Satan has to get ones consent before he can curse. If this consent is withheld, he cannot work, for man has free will. Without man’s consent, Satan can neither tempt him to sin nor attack him at will. So, in the case of Job, Satan first implanted a little thought of fear in Job. Having once accepted the thought, it made Job tremble.

To think that God would allow Satan to attack us without a cause is absurbed.  What kind of God would do this?  We don’t see anywhere else in scripture of God’s attack except when there is sin of some type – unfaithfulness, doubt, unbelief, etc.

Objective – Why Did Job Suffer and was Tested:

God did not afflict Job, Satan did.  God gave Satan permission. Answer: Isn’t it comforting to know Satan can do nothing without God’s knowledge and permission!   If Satan is attacking us, God allowed it because of open door. Job’s open door which is fear.

The sufferings of Christ point to the same problem: Why? We can dimly perceive how he was “made perfect through suffering,” and how his perfect submission to that suffering laid the eternal foundation for the world’s redemption from all suffering. 

All Man Sanctification Process – Dying to Self

Sanctification is a process of trials to get what is not of God out of us or to purify us.  Is there any man on earth or ever on earth who was perfect and without sin?  No not at all.  Suffering is a part of testing but really it is a sanctification process. Job’s testing to see if he would turn against God.  He even had three (3) best friends who accused him. 

Paul writes, “…There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is not one who does good, not even one” (Romans 3:10-12). The Bible says Job was the best man in all the East. That doesn’t mean that he was righteous and good in God’s sight. He was simply the best man from a human perspective, but even the best man is a sinner in God’s sight, and that includes Job. A sinner has no right-standing or rights with God.

It cannot be about people but only the Lord regardless what fiery darts coming out of others as accusation, attacking your reputation, betrayal, destruction, etc.  You gotta stand, even in weakness, that God is for you and not against you and that he is all your all.  Even though it feels like you are walking in the shadow of death what I call the dark night of the soul but to not fear no evil according to Psalm 23:4

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”  You cannot allow people to rule you but God to rule you.

Many times it does feel like affliction of the soul or your emotions.  Your emotions do go to helter skelter but you gotta hang on that the Lord is doing a new thing and will deliver you according to  Psalm 34:19

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

and that God will supply all your needs emotionally and physically according to Philippians 4:19

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” and that  2 Corinthians 4:16  “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”

You have choices to make in the dark night of the soul.  That means, determining not to go bitter but count it all joy like I said earlier and praise the Lord like Paul did in Jail and the Lord delivered him.

Otherwise, if you don’t forgive, two things can happen, 1. have feelings of insanity and torment or develop sickness and disease.  Because a broken heart dryth the bones, that is where your immune system is.

Accusations will come that are not true.  Overcoming Trials and Tribulations.

I’m sharing this part so whoever reads this going through the fiery darts will realize these are trials and tests of character.  I had to see I could not defend myself but trust God regardless where it took me.  Where I got messed up at first is I thought if I do the right thing everything would correct itself but that is not the case.  Many times it can fall apart regardless how you try to be honorable not talking, not giving any accusation, or anything.

The accusations from those you care about, do break your heart.

Yes, when going through betrayals, accusations and rejection,  you didn’t always do the right thing.  I made many mistakes in this friendship.  Through my brokenness, I had to see and look at my heart and realized I made a lot of mistakes and that I cannot blame the other person.  I  had to take responsibility and go to the Lord for forgiveness and healing.

Many times friendships are severed forever which do break your heart deeply.  But God has a greater purpose in all of it.  You have to trust God and believe and move on and not get hung up in the past of what if. I had to stand in faith and rejoice regardless of the outcome according to Romans 5:2-5. Unfortunately, this friend died and no restoration of friendship but God showed me he was protecting me.

“Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Overcoming Trials and Tribulations Walkthrough

I had to see it was a trial and do what the Word says to do and that was to rejoice in our sufferings… A very different concept when your heart is bleeding but did it because it produces endurance, character, hope without shame.  I was doing it out of obedience of being broken and realigned correctly to the Lord.  We serve a jealous God.

In my past, I used to complain about everything.  No more.  I made a decision from what I’ve learned in the last two years was to rejoice in all things regardless how it appeared but to put on my spiritual eyes and stand on Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Since then, I have found myself again.  I had lost myself and didn’t even know who I was but now I’ve found myself and moving forward with new people and enjoying life to the fullest.

When you go through these trials and tribulations build character in you and you come out gaining new wisdom according to Romans 11:33

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!”

Overcoming trials and tribulations it is self dying like Christ.  You are only partaking a very small portion of his suffering but it opens your eyes to what he really and truly went through in killing your flesh to be more like him.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Dying to self is a good thing.  Trials and tribulations brings up the nasty stuff so that you can crucify it with Christ.  In fact it is the best way to deal with the flesh when you go through trials and tribulations.

The Court Room of God – How to Receive Forgiveness

Satan is the Accuser of the Saints

Every time we sin, Satan goes to the throne room of God with all these accusations and charges against you – especially your past mistakes. He has a stack of cases against you that goes from the floor to the ceiling and is now going to present them to the Lord to make you guilty of your charges.

Satan goes through the entire list of your sins to the Lord and the Lord is listening to the accusations of Satan. Then the Lord takes these cases against you and goes into his chambers to make a decision. When in His chamber, he opens the door and throws all these cases out because the word says when we repent, then it is forgotten as deep as the sea (Micah 7:19) or as far from the east to the west (Psalm 103:12).

The Lord comes out of his chambers and Satan asked the Lord what is your verdict? and the Lord answers “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

The Lord says to Satan “This person you are accusing is INNOCENT because she or he is my child. I have a purpose and a plan for this person.” “This case is DISMISSED,” says the Lord.

East will never meet West and that is why David says: As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12). Our sins have not just been taken away but they have been removed an infinite distance from us. As much as East and West cannot meet, so much will our forgiven sin never be confronted by them again once they have been dealt with by the Blood of the Lamb. When children have done something wrong, they instinctively try to hide the evidence instead of going to the Lord and asking forgiveness. That is what the sacrifice of Jesus was for us so that we can go to the father through Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, the Lord has removed our sin so far that they will never return to haunt us.

You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:19). At its deepest point, the sea is seven miles deep. It would be impossible to bring things up from that depth and it is so far from the light of the sun that whatever is down there will never be brought to the light. Praise the Lord; He has put our sins down in the deepest, most inaccessible place known to man! (We know, of course, that our sins are not literarily down there, but this is simply a picture to show how far removed our sins are).

Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). He takes it away  it is gone  never to be brought back, found or even remembered.

If the enemy tries to accuse you again after you have repented, tell him you are forgiven and fight with fire by reminding him his ending  SATAN IS CAST DOWN  (Rev. 12 Verses 7, 8, 9): “And there was war in Heaven: Michael and His angels…” “Neither was their place found anymore.” “And the great dragon was cast out, and his angels with him.” These verses depict the battle in Heaven which ended in Satan’s defeat. (Isa. 14:12, Eze. 28:16-17, Luke 10:18)

Did you know it is Satan Accuses God to to get you to not trust God, turn against God, curse God when things do not go well in your life?  Be aware that not all your thought are your and that Satan projects thoughts as lies to get you to believe God is against you.  God loves you with an everlasting love.  What is operating?  It is a spirit of accusation working in you and through you.

The Devil Speaks To Us and Sounds Like My Voice

Satan is the “father of lies,” – stop listening to him when you are standing for something in your life.  If healing, salvation for family members, etc.

Praise the Lord when the enemy starts whispering in your ear say things like, “you won’t get healed.”  You start Praising the Lord and tell the enemy, “it is written” “it is written” “it is written” God’s word is truth and I will be healed or my family will be healed.  Tell him to get behind you because he is the father of lies who lies against God’s word.  He wants you doubt but don’t listen.  Stand in faith knowing God is a God of promise and His Word is of Promises and says you will be healed.

That means resist the lies of the devil – the devil speaks to us.  He will even say you are not loved by God.  He will even try to make you feel like a fool and steal your faith, joy, peace in your heart.

If you are doubting, it did not come from God but from the enemies camp so start praising the Lord until you get your faith faith back.  Faith comes by hearing so read God’s word of truth.  Stand and believe and praise the Lord for the answre before the answer.

You have to see you are God’s child and a father wants to give good things to his child.  If needed, repent for having a spirit of doubt and unbelief and get right with the Lord again.

Again, so why listen to the Devil.

God Promises are Only To the Obedient

God Promises Healing Today!

God has given us many promises of healing and health in His Word.  God is not a man that He should lie – God promises healing today!
If you are sick, or diseased, or in pain, you have access to the provision of God and the provision of God by the atonement of Jesus Christ of Nazareth who died on the cross stake when He took your past sins, your sicknesses,  your diseases, and your pains upon himself for you to receive good health and blessings.

Jesus, through us, will perform a healing on someone who is not saved to bring them to salvation.  Miracles are for the unsaved to come into the family of God.

Those who are saved though, it is only to the obedient, those who will “diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord” and “do that which is right in his sight,” that it is said “the Lord will take away from thee all sickness.” (Exod. 15:26, Deut 7:15).

Faith, is the union of our hearts and wills with God’s will and purpose; and where this unity is lacking results are impossible.  This is a very important spiritual law to which, in our times, we have been woefully blind.

God says, of fearing the Lord and departing from evil, “It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones”. (Prov. 3:7-8).

So faith always implies obedience.

Whenever Jesus spoke the Word, people were healed (see Matt. 8:8, 16; Luke 7:7). The psalmist said, “He [the Lord] sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Ps. 107:20). Listen to the Word of the Lord for your healing. No one else’s word, faith or assurance will do. When God doesn’t heal now, trust His voice and believe His Word.

Healing Scriptures

Heb. 12:2  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Rom. 10:17  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

John. 17:17  Thy word is truth.

John. 16:13  The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth.

Ps. 119:105  Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.

God’s word is so simple, that we almost miss it, we add to it, subtract from it, and read between the lines.  But we need to learn to totally trust God and accept his word as the Holy Spirit teaches us and do it!

Isa. 53:4-5  Surely He hath borne our grief’s, and carried our sorrows: (weakness, pain, sickness) yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon him;  and with His stripes we are healed.

I Pet. 2:24  Who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

Jesus already healed us when He was beaten and put to death on the cross.  We now need to learn to receive our healing.

Mk. 11:22-24  Have Faith In God.  I tell you the truth, if anyone Says to this mountain  (i.e. any problem, sickness, whatever) throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him!

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, BELIEVE that you have RECEIVED IT and it WILL be yours.

Heb. 11:2  NOW faith is being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for.

By faith we understand that the earth was formed by God’s command: so that what is seen was not made of what was visible.

Mt. 21:21-22  I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, If you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, (Jesus withered it) but you can move mountains.  If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

John. 14:12-14  I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.  He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.  You may ask me for anything, in my name, and I will do it.

Why You Loose Your Healing

The Bible says, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty…..” Matthew 12:43-44

Don’t let demons regain reentry into your life. Demons seek rest in you, Put out a sign “No Vacancy”! Keep your house filled with the Word of God! Practical steps to keep your house filled.

Why You Loose Your Healing – Practicle Steps to Not Loose your healing

How do you keep your house filled and/or protected (you are the temple of the Holy Spirit)?:

1. Not Loose Your Healing – Pay attention to your thought life especially thoughts of the past. The past should stay in the past but the demonic world wants to remind you of your past to keep you from going forward.

 

2. Not loose your healing – Areas you are weak, memorize specific scriptures to fight the fiery darts! Example: I used to project fear for tomorrow. I learned to cast my cares to the Lord according to 1 Peter 5:7. Where do fiery darts come from? Jesus withstood Satan’s temptation by using scripture. The word is a mirror to the soul (James 1:22-25); it is a lamp unto the feet for guidance( Psalm 119:105); it is two-edge sword laying bare the heart (Heb 4:12); it is food for the spirit (1 Pet 2:2; Matt 4:4) No person can maintain deliverance apart from the Word of God as a primary factor in his life!

 

3. Not Loose your Healing – Put on the Whole Armour of God The Christian’s spiritual armour is set forth in Ephesians 6:10-18. There are seven pieces: (1) Loins girt about with truth (2) The breastplate of righteousness (3) Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (4) The shield of faith (5) The helmet of salvation, (6) The sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and (7) Praying in the spirit! Pay special attention to the helmet for guarding your thought life. Most demons seeking to re-enter assail the thoughts. Become watchful of any thought that could be considered negative; they are from the enemy. Separate their thoughts from your own. Refuse the thoughts they give you and replace them with positive thoughts. (See Phil 4:8) Resist the devil at the first sign of attack.

 

 

4. Not Loose Your Healing – Make Positive Confessions – Power in the Tongue brings life or death to others or to self. You can self curse or curse others with your words. Are you a negative person? Do you see the world half empty instead of half full? Negative confessions are lack of faith but doubt and unbelief which characterize demonic influence. Positive confessions are faith expressed. Any other confession will open the door for the enemy. (See Mark 11:23). Do you speak negative words over your spouse, your children and so on?

 

Note: Remember life and death are in the power of the tongue. It is very important to recognize what comes out of your mouth – Blessings or Curses over others or yourself.  Word are powerful and Words Have Power.

 

5. Not Loose Your Healing – Know Who You Are In the Kingdom of God! Why Did God Create You? Who are you in the Kingdom of God? What is your Purpose? What is your calling? What is your destiny? What is the Body of Christ’s purpose? What is the Lord wanting to restore?

 

6. Not Loose Your Healing – Crucify the Flesh Take up your cross daily and follow Jesus. (Luke 9:23) Break old habit patterns through God’s Word. If fleshy appetites, desires and lusts are not brought to the cross a way for demons to return will be left open (Gal 5: 19-24). From Romans to Jude is all about Santification. What is Sanctification? Definition of Santification:

 

Sanctification is that continuous operation of the Holy Spirit, by which the holy disposition imparted in regeneration is maintained and strengthened.

 

7. Not Loose Your Healing – Be Willing To Go Into The Fire!

What are areas you are not able to still walk through?

 

 

 

8. Not Loose Your Healing – Develop a Life of continuous Praise and Prayer Praise silences the demons. Praise is not an attitude of heart; praise is the expression unto God of thankfulness, adoration and joy by speaking, singing, shouting, dancing, leaping, playing musical entrustments, clapping the hands, etc. Pray in the sprit (in tongues) and also in the understanding. (1 Cor 14:14).  Pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:17). Get a journal and write down your victories, blessings, etc. This is helpful when times are tough.

 

9. Not Loose Your Healing – Maintain a Life of Fellowship and Spiritual Ministry It is the sheep that wanders from the flock that is most endangered. Find and fulfill your function within the body of Christ at a local church. (See 1 Cor 12:7-14) Keep yourself under godly authority.

 

10. Not Loose Your Healing – Commit Yourself Totally to Christ Determine that every thought, word and action will reflect the very nature of Christ. Abide in Christ that the fruit of the Spirit might come forth in abundance. Demon spirits are enemies of the fruit of the spirit. Faith and trust in God is the greatest weapon against the devil and his lies. (See Eph. 6:16)

 

11. Not Loose Your Healing – Choosing friends who are like minded. Think of times you were influenced negatively from others who are not like minded.

 

Look what the Bible says about choosing friends

 

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE, says the Lord. AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me, Says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18 NASBR)

“Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’ Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.” 1 Corinthians 15:33-34

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2 NASBR)

 

“Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:12 NASBR)

Ungodly Order Connection to Learning Disabilities

When the wife runs the home, the house is out of order.  God is very specific about the order of the home according to The Christian Church cannot flourish without the Christian home.

If you are married, your spouse comes next. A married man is to love his wife as
Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25).  Here is an example a husband should follow: God first, then his wife. In the same way, wives are to submit to their husbands as to the Lord (Ephesians 5:22). The principle is that a woman’s husband is second only to God in her priorities.

There is a specific reason for this order.  The husband is the covering if the house like Jesus is our covering – otherwise ungodly order.  The husband is to protect the house from outside invaders because he is the man and is the stronger one.  Third, spiritually, if he is the head of the house, then he covers and protects the house from the demonic.  Why because the house is in order according to God’s order.

The Christian home is the backbone of the nation.  A Christian home is an institution where parents are bonded together by Christian love, where children are welcome and Spiritually instructed, and the Lord Jesus is not only the supposed head of the home.

When out of order, then confusion comes into the Christian home – ungodly order.  A spirit of confusion comes on your children operating as a curse.  The spirit of confusion invades your children as learning disabilities and homosexuality.

God has placed the husband as head of the home Gen. 18:19. Abraham commanded his household faithfully. The household includes the wife, children, and servants.

Eph. 5:23, “For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church.”

This is God’s order and the home that reverses it breaks God’s plan and destroys the peace of that home.

This does not mean that the wife is a slave beneath the husband’s feet. She is an help

This isn’t mere respect. This is the tremendous love of I Cor. 13, loving in health, in sickness, in poverty, and in posterity.

Wives, if your husband – Ungodly order –  out of order or is making wrong decisions, you keep your mouth shut and go to the Lord for the Lord to communicate to your husband.  If you do this, your trust will grow, God will bring more peace, etc.

Now, if the husband asks your advise, you have a right to your opinion or thoughts about issue but he is the ultimate decision maker and whatever he decides, you have to honor his decision even when it is wrong.

When a wife nags or corrects a husband, it only puts the husband in defense and only creates division and confusion in the household.  More things are done in prayer.  You see God is the husband’s covering and when you overstep your boundaries of the order, then you are interfering in God’s ways.  For the wife, it only shows the wife lacks trust in her husband or God.  Read Proverbs 31 in which gives great instructions to the wife.

Now, the husband is required to be faithful to his wife. We live in an age of lax moral standards and easy divorce and infidelity. The standards of God have not changed. God still demands honesty, frankness, and faithfulness between the partners contracting marriage.

It is the husband’s duty to comfort his wife in time of sorrow, I Sam. 1:8.  Even though most husbands are very detached emotionally, they should support their wives and give them strength because they are their covering.

He should consult with his wife on business matters, for they are a team.  Like I said earlier, wives should be consulted on but whatever decision he makes, she has to honor his decision regardless if she thinks it is right or wrong.

Why Some Loose Their Healing

Healing Lost

The Bible says, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty…..” Matthew 12:43-44

Don’t let the enemy gain reentry into your life. We he comes seeking rest, Put out your “NO VACANCY” sign! Keep your house filled! Here are some practical steps to take to be sure, you are filled when he comes.

How Healing Lost: How do you keep your house filled and/or protected (you are the temple of the Holy Spirit)?:

1. Pay attention to your thought life especially thoughts of the past. The past should stay in the past.

What does that mean?  Continue to look at the promises of God – He Came to Heal All Diseases Ps. 102:2.  Some people reverse this.  Their faith waxes weak while they look at their symptoms and forget the promises of God.  God’s Word is the only solid basis for our faith.  But the enemy, after you get healed, will throw symptoms and you cannot look at the symptoms and allow doubt to come back in that God healed you.  The enemy throws symptoms to get your eyes off of Christ so that you will loose faith and look at the symptoms instead of the Lord.  You stand on the Word that Jesus is the Healer and that you’re healed.

Reasons Healing Lost: We will miss or loose our healing if we allow our symptoms to hinder us from expecting what His Word promise is.

Hebrews 11:1 faith is the things not seen.  Symptoms are not eternal but God’s Word is eternal and alive to do what it says to do.  Spiritual Warfare is not believing those symptoms but believing God’s Word that Christ died on the cross for our salvation and sickness and disease.  So stand and believe without wavering.

2. Why Healing Lost: Make sure you are right with God.  Our redemptive blessings are conditional after we hear the Gospel.  Jesus said repent ye and believe the gospel.  Jesus great commandment has to do with relationships with God, others and self.  Check to see if you have any bitterness towards anyone, are you in fear and out of faith, etc.  Disease comes from separation and separation opens the door for the enemy to inflict.  James says to confess your faults to one another…. that ye might be healed.  If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lod will not hear me.

3. Areas you are weak, memorize specific scriptures to fight the fiery darts! Example: I used to project fear for tomorrow. I learned to cast my cares to the Lord according to 1 Peter 5:7. Where do fiery darts come from? Jesus withstood Satan’s temptation by using scripture. The word is a mirror to the soul (James 1:22-25); it is a lamp unto the feet for guidance( Psalm 119:105); it is two-edge sword laying bare the heart (Heb 4:12); it is food for the spirit (1 Pet 2:2; Matt 4:4) No person can keep up deliverance apart from the Word of God as a primary cause in his life!

4. Put on the Whole Armour of God The Christian’s spiritual armour is set forth in Ephesians 6:10-18. There are seven pieces: (1) Loins girt about with truth (2) The breastplate of righteousness (3) Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (4) The shield of faith (5) The helmet of salvation, (6) The sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and (7) Praying in the spirit! Pay special attention to the helmet for guarding your thought life. Most demons seeking to re-enter assail the thoughts. Become watchful of any thought that could be considered negative; they are from the enemy. Separate their thoughts from your own. Refuse the thoughts they give you and replace them with positive thoughts. (See Phil 4:8) Resist the devil at the first sign of attack.

5. Make Positive Confessions – Power in the Tongue brings life or death to others or to self. You can self curse or curse others with your words. Are you a negative person? Do you see the world half empty instead of half full? Negative confessions are lack of faith but doubt and unbelief which characterize demonic influence. Positive confessions are faith expressed. Any other confession will open the door for the enemy. (See Mark 11:23). Do you speak negative words over your spouse, your children and so on?  It is more than positive confession but it is trusting and believing in God’s Word and then confessing it.  It has to be true  in your heart – a reality of truth.

John said in 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all tings that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

That means submit ourselves to God before He says “resist the devil,” because no one can successfully resist the devil until he submits himself to God.

The condition of heart that was responsible for the coming of those diseases as mentioned in Deut. 28 is not the right condition for their removal.  In other words, the condition of the heart that was responsible for the curse in that day is not the condition of heart in which to come to Him for the removal of the curse in our day.

How to live a victorious life in christ

Fill your head and your heart with the Scriptures. Take the time each day to read God’s Word.  Realize God’s Word is the Lord Manifested in the Word.  Memorize passages from the Word, with the name of the book, the chapter, and the verse, so that you can quote the scripture correctly.  As you do this, you are sowing in your heart seeds which the Spirit of God can germinate. He can bring to your remembrance from time to time that which you have once memorized.

A Quote from a Famous Preacher, Smith Wigglesworth says “You must soak your mind  (your soul)with the Word of God, you must fill it, that you are a living epistle, known and read of all men. Believers are strong only as the Word of God abides in them. The Word of God is spirit and life to those who receive in simple faith, and it is a vivified of all who own its sway. Know your Book, live it, believe it, and obey it. Hide God’s Word in your heart. It will save your soul, quicken your body, and illumine your mind. The Word of God is full and last, infallible, reliable, and up-to date, and our attitude towards it is one of unquestioned obedience. If a thing is in the Bible it is so; it is not even to be prayed about; it is received and acted upon. Inactivity of faith is a robber which steals blessing. Increase comes by action, by using what we have and what we know. Your life going from faith to faith.”

The Second Thing to How To Live a Victorious Life in Christ

The Second thing to do is spending time with God by getting alone with God for spiritual renewing.  Jesus did it when he was on earth.  We read several times that he would get away to spend time alone with God.  If you want great anointing and great power to move mountains, it takes reading His Word, Studying His Word, and Memorizing His Word.

Why do we read about so many men in the faith falling?  I asked the Lord and He told me because they got to busy to spend time with God.  How can the Lord convict souls if they are not being intimate with the Lord!  When you spend quality alone time with God, you get close and He reveals secrets to you – great revelation of His Word.  He imparts great anointing for the Work of the Ministry.

It is only through God’s Word are we truly transformed into the image of Christ. 

Third ingredient is humility.  A person must realize, when they have great anointing, is to stay humbled but not only that to be moved with compassion.

Fourth ingredient is have a hatred for sin and be a lover of righteousness – God’s righteousness.  That means putting away the things of the world and becoming a servant of the Lord Most High.

Fifth, stay hungry for the Lord and His presence.

Quote from Smith Wigglesworth:

Anyone can be ordinary, he would say, but a person filled with the Holy Spirit must be extraordinary.

Sixth, be filled with the Holy Spirit and stay filled daily.

The power that raised Him from the dead must animate us, and as this glorious resurrection power surges through your being, you will be freed from all your weaknesses and you will become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. There is a resurrection power that God wants you to have and to have it today. Why not? Receive your part here and now.

Seven, obedience to Christ at all cost.  Don’t get caught up and fear of man.  You don’t have time for fear of man or their opinions.  Those people will not save you and so God is the most important person you want to please in your life.

How to Release God’s Healing Power Through Prayer healing the sick, casting out demons, & performing miracles.  He is a god healing miracles.

Ye Shall Receive Power Through Jesus Christ to Heal the Sick and Raise the Dead

“Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you.”  The disciples had asked whether the Lord would at that time restore again the kingdom to Israel. Christ told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father had put in His own power, but He promised them that when they received the Holy Ghost they should receive power to witness for Him in all the world. To receive the Holy Ghost is to receive power with God, and power with men.

There is power in God and satan has power but it is no match to God’s power.  I’ve been in deliverance ministries for years and I still cannot get over how many ministers give so much power to the Devil when God is greater.  You see you need to see in the spirit the finished Word Jesus did on the cross and what authority he has given us.

Ye Shall Receive Power To Be Witnesses to God – God Healing Power

There is a Healing Power Holy Spirit the Lord wants all saved people to receive power from on High–power to witness, power to act, power to live, and power to show forth the divine manifestation of God within. God Healing Power Holy Spirit will take you out of your own plans and put you into the plan of God and away from what you believe is the plan. God’s plan is always perfect.

The Lord will change you and put His mind where yours was, and thus enable you to have the mind of Ye Shall Receive Power 31 Christ. Instead of you laboring according to your own plan, it will be God working in you and through you to do His own good pleasure through the power of the Spirit within. The secret is obedience no matter how weird it might seem. Obedience is the ingredients of doing it God’s way and not your way.

Ye Shall Receive Power and Life in the Holy Ghost – God Healing Miracles

God heaing promises are for you today.  Christ must reign within, and the life in the Holy Ghost means at all times the subjection of your own will to make way for the working out of the good and acceptable and perfect will of God within.  The Holy Spirit has to fill you.

When the Holy Spirit comes in He comes bringing power to empower you as an effective witness.

The Holy Spirit will come cleanse you and purge of the old life.  I never saw anyone baptized who was not clean within.

When the Holy Spirit comes He always brings a rich revelation of Christ. Christ becomes so real to you that, when, under the power of the Spirit, you begin to express your love and praise to Him, you find yourself speaking in another tongue.  God healing scriptures.

“It is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me” (Galatians 2:20).

God wants witnesses, witnesses to the truth, witnesses to the full truth, witnesses to the fullness of redemption–deliverance from sin and deliverance from disease–by the eternal power working in them, as they are filled with life through the Spirit.

A man filled with the Holy Spirit is no longer an ordinary man. A man can be swept by the power of God in the first stage of the revelation of Christ so that from that moment he will be an extraordinary man. The Holy Spirit must fill you to become a free body for God to dwell in, and to use, and to manifest Himself through.

The mission of the Holy Ghost is to give us a revelation of Jesus and to make the Word of God life unto us as it was when spoken by the Son–as new, as fresh, as effective as if the Lord Himself were speaking.

As we read the Word of God each day, it should come to us like a breath from God.  The Word itself giveth life; the Spirit of the Lord, breathing through, revealing by the Word, giving it afresh to us, makes the Word alive today.  The Word of God transforms our mind to demonstrate we are more like him, to think like him and to walk like him with power.  You just need to learn how to release the Healing Power Holy Spirit through you.

Some of you have suffered with sickness and disease either body, soul or spirit because you have a limited revelation of Jesus, of the fullness of life in Him or don’t believe healing is for today.  Instead we say, it is God’s will I’m sick.  No way is it God’s will for a man have sickness.  If so, why are you going to a doctor for your sickness or disease?  Some of you say healing is not for today.  People, I have to tell you otherwise, The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Seek this vision from God, and keep it ever before you, seek to know him, seek to read and study His Word – He is the Word. God healing power scripture.  Pray the prayer that the apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians believers, as recorded in Ephesians 1:17-19, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe.”

Father, We at Healing Touch of God stand against divorce in every way. Help us to hate it as much as you  do.  Father, We acknowledge that satan is a defeated foe. He is void of any  power. For Jesus conquered him and made an open show of him, humiliating him in  front of all our enemies. And we as believers, have been given all power and  authority over the enemy and his lies. For your Word says that all authority had  been given to you and that you gave it to us. Your word says that we are  co-heirs with Jesus, and that we are seated together with Him in the heavenly  realms. Far above all power, principalities, authorities and the rulers of  darkness in this present world and in the one to come. The enemy is under our  feet. Therefore we are putting satan and all the demons of hell on notice right  now that we are standing in the full authority of the Name of Jesus that was given to us and that they are loosed from their assignment against the marriage  of ___________________________________ (fill in the blank with the name of the  family you are praying for).

We cover this marriage with the precious blood of Jesus and we confess that this  is a pure and godly marriage. That _______________________(names of the couple  you are praying for) are actually one flesh, for this is written in God’s Word.  We call them back to the covenant relationship with the spouse that God has  placed them with. We call them back to their homes and say that they will not  break covenant with the wife/husband of their youth. We break the hold that the  enemy has on their mind and we bring all their thoughts captive to the lordship  and obedience of Jesus Christ. We lose them to think on things which are just,  lovely, pure, honest, holy and of good report. If there is any virtue, if there  is any praise, these are the things they will think on.

The lies of the enemy we expose. They shall know the truth and the truth shall  set them free. For it is for freedom that Christ has died, therefore they stand  firm and do not allow themselves to be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.  Arise and shine O sleeper, for the glory of the Lord shines among you .We call  _______________________ (names of the people you are praying for), to take their  rightful, God-ordained place in the family. Father, we pray that their will,  will line up with Your will. We pray that their spirits will be stirred up  within them to be pleasing in Your eyes, Lord. Give them a burning desire to  grow closer to You in every way, and teach them obedience, Lord. Save them from  themselves and from their enemies. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear what  the Holy Spirit is speaking to them. May their spouses and their families be  always in their mind and thoughts, always before their eyes. May they think on  them every waking moment and when they go to sleep. May their thoughts towards  them be good, and just and may they long for them, Lord. Oh, may their hearts  break at the thought of being separated from them even one more day.

Father God, we thank you ahead of time for repairing this marriage and going through save your marriage prayers in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Amen.

The Effects of Stress on the Body.

A state resulting from a stress; especially: one of bodily or mental tension resulting from factors that tend to alter an existent equilibrium job-related stress, many others types of stress – basically it takes you out of peace into fear.  Stress is worry and anxiety over a person, situation or thing for that day or for tomorrow.  It is something that captures your thoughts.  That is why we are looking at how stress affects health.

How Stress Effects the Body

The bible says stress is a spirit of fear.  The Lord knew we would all be dealing with stress and 365 times in the bible it says “Fear Not”.  Why because fear does not come from God.  It comes from the kingdom of Darkness.  The devil knows if he can get you in fear, he can shut you down.

When a person is in stress or fear for long periods of time a significant number of people also suffer with anxiety, depression, insomnia, alcohol and drug abuse.

Long-term stress is dangerous to your health.  In fact, stress has effects on brain areas that play a critical role in learning and memory like foggy brain syndrome.  This affects the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.  Learn also how stress affects immune system.

Cortisol Effects on Immune System

When a person is in stress for long periods of time, a stress hormone, such as cortisol and norepinephrine, releases in the body.  Cortisol is known as a death hormone.  It affects the heart, causes high blood pressure and creates disease such as diabetes.

A person who has suffered from long-term traumatic events such as living with a family member who explodes all the time and you never know when or what will set this person off.

Stress and the Immune System Cortisol

Learn the effect prolonged stress immune system.  When under stress, your body releases in the brain and throughout the body Norepinephrine and cortisol.  Norepinephrine sharpens the sense, raise the level of fear, increases heart rate and blood pressure – fight or flight.  The norepinephrine is similar to a fire alarm that alerts all areas of the brain simultaneously.

Cortisol aids in survival by redistributing energy when an individual is under attack such as a snake crossing your path.  It also increases heart rate and blood pressure, but shunting energy to the brain and muscles to speed up thought processes and fight or flee.  After the episode, the chemical shuts off.

When a person grew up in fight or flight, their bodies continue to release cortisol into the body.  Chronic high cortisol levels cause gastric ulcers, thinning of the bones and possibly brain damage and many different types of diseases so stress affects immune system.

Traumatic events can result in brain damage and impaired memory problems because of the damage in the Hippocampus part of the brain.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome

Not only is the brain the health of a person affected.  When cortisol is high continually, a person’s moods affected, leading to depressing and feelings of fatigue.  Stress also impairs the immune system (allergies, environmental issues because of too much , which can lead to an increase in infections and possibly increased rates of cancer.  Many people with MCS/EI have high levels of cortisol in their bodies as a result of a broken heart.  Someone important broke their heart when they were youth through either emotional abuse, physical abuse or sexual abuse.  Elevations in cortisol lead to increased deposition of intra-abdominal fat; this type of fat always associated with a higher mortality than obesity in general.

How Stress Affects the Cardiovascular System

Over all, stress also has effects on the cardiovascular system, which increase the risk for heart disease.  Cortisol adversely affects atherosclerosis, and elevations in norepinephrine may have direct effects on heart rhythms, leading to sudden death.  Patients with depression (related to stress) and heart disease are about five times more likely to have sudden death without depression.

What do we do with stress, fears and anxiety?

First, you must realize fear is a spirit from the kingdom of darkness.  It is the opposite of faith in God but the opposite of not trusting God or the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV).

1 Peter 5:7

Meditation on the Word of God

The Bible is filled with incredible promises from God. Meditating on these words of assurance can dispel our worry, doubt, fear and stress. Here are just a few examples of the Bible’s stress relieving verses:2 Peter 1:3

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.(NIV)

Matthew 11:28-30
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.”(NLT)

John 14:27
“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”(NLT)

It is building trust in God and trusting God in all of our circumstances in life.  1 Peter 5:7 says “cast our cares to Him because he cares for me.”

As Christians we need to learn to cast our cares to Him and allow Him to carry our burdens.  There is nothing else you can do but trust Him.  God always works it out for us.  That means “Let Go and Let God”.
