Merry Christmas and Happy New Year – Jesus is the Reason for the Season! That is why Christmas is Important to Christians. We celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus.

Christmas is celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus. It was a start of Jesus life that came into the world as a divine rescue plan for man. He saved mankind through his death on the cross when he became the sacrificial lamb of God.

Christmas is important to us because it is the time of the year we set aside to remind us all of the significance of Jesus Christ’s birth. To those who don’t believe, it is all about presents, parties, days off from work….. But to Christians, it is a time to focus on the Savior of the world being brought into this world as a tiny, innocent baby. His birth and life, was a divine rescue plan for all mankind.

All he requires is receiving Him as Lord. As for the date of Christmas, there is much debate on whether or not that is correct, but we simply want to celebrate our Lord’s birth on December 25, 2019.

It is easy to get caught up in the shopping and spending money to buy gifts for each other. Don’t lose focus on the reason for the season that is Jesus came in the world and laid in a manger.

Santa Clause has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. It is a symbol of Christmas, but it takes away of the purpose of Christ’s birth. Let’s stay focus to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus.

When Jesus Christ was born, “there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night” (Luke 2:8). December is in the midst of a cold, rainy season in Judea.

Christmas was not instituted by Jesus Christ, nor was it observed by any of the apostles personally instructed by Christ. Christmas came later in time. About 1000 years later. But, it is a time that we celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus on Christmas: it brings families together, and we give gifts to one another.

The wise men were presenting gifts to Christ because they were coming before a king. Let’s remember this is the birth of the King of the Universe.

A time of singing Christmas carols to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus. I want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all those that read my newsletters.

Almighty God, I ask you to bless everyone this season with peace, love, and joy. Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace to everyone’s mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in everyone’s lives.

Please guide my brothers and sisters in Christ and make their enemies be at peace with them. Let your peace reign over their families, at work, place of businesses and everything they lay our hands on.

Let your angels of peace go ahead of them when they go out and stay by their side when they return.

I also pray for the Lord to prosper them in everything they touch. I also pray for good health and that 2020 a year of much blessings and answered prayer in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
