Learn steps to overcome accusation from others who accuse you when it is not true! What to do with accusation.

Ever Been Accused by Someone. Did that Stop You! In this teaching, learn to overcome accusation like David? According to 1 Samuel 17:28, it says the following:

“And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men, and Eliab’s anger kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightiest see the battle.

Accusation from Eliab vs. David Killing Goliath

In the story, Eliab accused David of disobedience, insolence and lack of responsibility. However, what basis did he have for doing that? These accusations were false. Why the false accusations? Otherwise, do you have people around you making false accusations? In light of, they cannot deal with the truth. Also, they must create an alternate reality that places them at the top of an unassailable pile. So, guard your heart! Are we going to allow the Eliab’s stop you from your purpose, calling, etc.? Without delay, David fulfilled his purpose that day by killing Goliath.

In the first place, David was the youngest and picked to be king, and Eliab was jealous of David. Moreover, David shows us how to deal with slander. David ruled his spirit and answered softly back to his brother. Likewise, what Eliab said hurt him, but he would not let it hinder him. Satan always has somebody to tell us “it can’t be done.” Eliab’s anger with the hatred of Joseph’s brethren for him (Gen 37). David was more concerned with God’s cause then what people think. Are you concerned what people think? Anyway, do you fight back with accusation?

In dealing with accusation, remember we are spiritual beings between two spiritual worlds. Remember, we do not fight flesh and blood. It is the enemy using them. Also, Don’t become one with someone else’s sin. In conclusion, David responded with a soft voice. Remember, you don’t have to defend yourself. God knows what is right about you.

How do we respond to false accusations? Meanwhile, learn how to Overcome Accusation from Others like David Did.

Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”
