International Mission Trip Honduras – Riding with Lito in Honduras.

This is Lito the Pastor of the City of Refuge in Compolete.  He is an awesome man of God that has a lot of faith.  James Young lives with Lito and Yolanda who is his wife.

This is at Lito and Yolanda’s House.  You can see how close the Neighbors are to each other.  Each house has chickens and Roosters. This is another grandson outside.  They do laundry to the right and cook on the left.  You can see how close the neighbor lives from them.  All the houses have tin for ceilings.  That is the most expensive part of a house. This is one of the church members who come to help out with laundry or cooking. This is Welder being silly with the Pepsi bottle. He is all boy and he was making faces at me and I was trying to get that face but kept missing it. This is looking out their gate.  Two houses you are looking at and one you cannot see is further up the road. This is looking down to further down the road at other neighbor’s houses. You see the eating area and two bedrooms from the sheets as doors.  They have another.  The one closest is Lito and Yolanda’s room, the other is the daughter’s room and then there is another for the missionary James and … The girls are doing laundry outside Many of the church members help out.  To the left is the bathroom and shower outside the house. They are preparing the New Years Eve fiesta and prayer vidual on December 31.  That is a banana leave they are pressing to prepare for food inside rolled up. The Wedding took place at this Church  in the Town 24 de Abril – Baptism and Wedding – The Wedding was at night and was decorated inside with draps. This is where the wedding and baptismal took place but it was at night. December 30, 2010 – back to Airport to pick up my clothes.  One of my luggage did not make it and had to borrow a shirt to sleep in from Yolanda.  She gave me a shirt that said City of Refuge.  Ciudade de Refugio. Thur. Dec. 30 – In the daytime we will be touring some of the projects and churches in progress, especially the area in Camalote where the Vision takes place, and you will meet some of the pastors. About 4pm we will be leaving for La Flecha, one of our larger churches, where I will have a leaders meeting at 5pm and preach at 6pm a short message about the vision.  You will have a time after my presentation to preach your message. A form of transportation.  Here you see Tigo which is a very important phone service or the biggest one around. Leaving San Pedro Sula and paying Toll Road and while you wait, you will have many people selling food and goods. Passing through a town. About 4pm we will be leaving for La Flecha, one of our larger churches, where I will have a leaders meeting at 5pm and preach at 6pm a short message about the vision. Pastor David’s church – he is a big evangelist and also church planter and has 5 new churches and one home church.

Weddings in Honduras

Now after Wedding go eat at Yolanda and Lito’s house for lunch and then get ready for Wedding that night and Fiesta Prayer Vidual and Cookout.

In the evening about 7 pm there is a wedding for 7 couples in El Ocotal with a fiesta afterward.

Then there was a sermon, then you wrote down what you would like to see happen in 2011 and go outside where they have a fire and burn your prayers so that it goes up like smoke.  They sang and then the spirit of the Lord moved and you saw people being touched by the Lord and then we all hugged each other and wished each other a Happy New Year (Feles Anos Nuevo and also  blessing each other Dios le Bengavia

This girl walks by and is singing to the Lord.  Precious girl.  She loves the Lord and shares her story and testimony in what Jesus did for her and kisses all of us and holds my hand sharing Christ.

We head to another town with another Church that David is building

The church.  This town has a lot of teenagers who have been helping to build and are on fire for the Lord.

We leave to head back and go through another town where there is a home group.  They start with home group, then structure to a church.

Then we head to San Marco Town to visit a church and pastor.

We head up the Road to leave the city and go to the TV Station Channel 3.

Then after the TV show, go to my hotel to get ready for that night to preach in San Jorge

We will leave about 6pm for San Jorge where I will preach at 7pm in what they call a “Culto Especial” or a special service.  They will be petitioning the Lord for the things they would like to see Him do in 2011, and thanking Him for past blessings. I will be preaching.  James forgot to take pictures so I don’t have any pictures of this church except later I do.

I think it was Sunday I go to Quimistan by Taxi and shop for coffee and spices.  I meet up later with James.  He had a business meeting that morning close to San Pedro Sula in a town called San Jorge

In the evening you will be preaching in Camalote at Pastor Lito’s church at 6:30 pm.

There is an old lady who lives behind the church. She has a small bedroom.  She takes care of the bathrooms when services are going on.

That night Lito and Yolanda and has surprise party for me and James and Michael.  They fed us, their leadership was there, they blessed me with blessings, read the word to me and prayed for me.  Prayed a good trip for me.
