Ask Yourself These Questions on Unloving:

What is the Unloving Spirit

The unloving spirit is an antichrist spirit to get you to turn against yourself.  It prevents one from giving love to others or receiving love.  Many times very critical of self.  You expect more from self than from others.

Luke 10:27 “27He answered: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

These spirits are assigned to undermine our self-esteem and our ability to trust in a loving God.  These spirits make you feel unacceptable, unworthy, insecure about self.  It causes you to turn against yourself either going into extreme vanity to look the best or don’t care what you look like.

America, when asked these questions “Do you love yourself?”, “Do you like yourself”? – 70% replied “NO”! Matt. 19:19 is really clear what we are to do..(Commandment, not a suggestion). We are to love ourselves, and then love others.

Do you accept everything about you as God created you (your looks, your body, etc.) or do you wish you could change something about yourself? Did you know you are made in the image of God and if you cannot accept your body, then you are slapping the Lord in the face saying “you made a mistake.”

Are you mad at yourself or have self-unforgiveness for something you’ve done in the past you cannot let go of and it has brought shame in your life?  Meaning you hold a record of wrong against yourself even though the Word says you are forgiven but you cannot forgive or let it go and you replay it over and over.

Are you an excessive talker? You realize after you have had a conversation with someone that you dominated the conversation out of fear of man and fear of being rejected?

Is it hard for you to be touched, hugged, kissed, feel loved, feel accepted or receive any affection which would make you feel loved?

Are you a driven, Type A personality, known as a work-a-holic, perfectionist in everything you do to get self-worth from others or in self-gratification?  But when you do get praised for your job, you cannot receive it and you hear a nagging voice saying you could have done it better!

When something goes wrong, or when you drop something or it is not perfect, do you curse yourself with words “I’m stupid”, “what’s wrong with me”, I’m so clumsy”? “I Could have done it better”.  Do you punish yourself when things go wrong? When you are tired, exhausted and worn out after a long day, does your house have to be perfect before you can go to bed?

Can you look in the mirror and like what you see?  Do you compare yourself to others and wish you had straight hair, or curly hair, different nose, not so tall or short, etc.

Is it hard to say no to people when they demand from out because of fear of rejection or disappointing someone?  No matter how tired you are you go the extra mile to take care of everyone else except you?

If you can say yes to one or more above, this is a sign of The Unloving Spirit what we call self-hatred, self-bitterness, self-rejection and self-accusation.

Guess what you have a spirit of fear operating in your life!

What is stress?  Stress is a spirit of fear operating.  There are two kinds of fear.  External circumstances around us that goes away or internal issues of the past, many times subsconscious level. There is everyday stress and there is long-term stress that does not go away what we call stuck in fight or flight.  Some stress is good stress to get out of danger, jogging, parachuting out of planes (adrenaline junkie).

The term “stress” is short for distress, a word evolved from Latin taht means “to draw or pull apart.”  The Romans even used the term districtia to describe “a being torn asunder” when stress out. Effecting “YOU” Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Physically – Mind, Body biolgically and Spirit.

The Characteristics of fear is that it projects into the future, fear is the opposite of God’s character, fear trains you in its demonic nature, fear manipulates, fear has impact in your memory. Fear is doubt and unbelief, not trusting God for your situation.

Fear – Opposite of Faith = Sin

Normal stress graph.  Stress that we give to God, or goes away:

Homeostasis

The natural regulations of your body during stress.

Scary Movie

Example: Scarry Movie or Snake in your path and you jump out of its way (external).  Your heart races, you breath harder, tense all over, close your eyes, you may even pace during the scary part of the movie.  After movie is over, your body goes back to normal.   Our body is made to go back to state of balance: After danger/trigger is gone you go back to “Homeostasis”, danger out of the way. Your body goes back to peace.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

  • Anyone who has gone to war
  • Growing up in ghetto neighborhood, unsafe or threatening – today bullying in the schools
  • Sexual Abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse
  • Survivor of extreme weather tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, etc.
  • Witnessing murder or crime
  • Growing up on eggs not knowing what will cause the parent to be triggered and spew anger
  • Major traumatic event (being locked up in closet, major car wreck, attacked by a dog at an early age)
  • Not loved properly, like neglect, not liked in the home – escape goat.
  • Ritual abuse
  • Incarcerated parents – sudden separation from their sole caregiver – 22% in America
  • Growing up with addicted parents or criminal parents hid from your friends afraid of being rejected
  • During child birth
  • Generational inherited iniquities

External we can control.

We are to not carry problems or burdens (fears, problems, worries) but cast our cares to the Lord because he cares for us (internal). 1 Peter 5:7.

Bad Stress, Stuck in Fight or Flight, Programmed by a Spirit of Fear

Stuck in Fight or Flight

These are internal thoughts of spirit of fear/Stuck.

These symptoms largely correspond to the “re-living” – record, replay programming with the spirit of fear – you have become one with fear and “hyper-arousal” categories of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the Diagnostic and Mental Disorders – Internal Stresses.

  • anxiety, agitation, jittery/restless feelings, irritability, outbursts of anger
  • hands feet cold
  • tendency to over-react, violate boundaries, etc.
  • impulsive, inability to stay/commit to relationships/jobs/projects (i.e., still on the run)
  • jumpiness, hyper-vigilance (i.e., on guard, ready to react), worrying that is disproportionate to the
  • panic attacks, anxiety attacks, phobias
  • flashbacks, recurring thoughts and memories of the event/experience
  • difficulty resting like watching TV or relaxing or sleeping, insomnia, nightmares
  • muscular tension, physical pain caused by emotional pain
  •  self-harming and “other-harming” behaviors to manage the above symptoms
  • generalized fear/anger/distrust of individuals and institutions
  • inability to fully relax/rest without feeling unprepared to face daily encounters

Basically, a person did not grow up feeling safe at home and lives in survival mode unconsciously.  When that happens your body is stuck continuously releasing “Cortisol” the death hormone.  Cortisol damages the hippocampus, limbic part of the brain which is the central learning memory center.  You feel anger, confused, fuzzy headed, anxious (might have anxiety attacks) over relationships or places, threatened and feel unsafe like a stranger living inside you – a spirit called “FEAR”.

What did you experience in your life to cause a spirit of fear to control you?

  • Anyone who has gone to war
  • Growing up in ghetto neighborhood, unsafe or threatening – today bullying in the schools
  • Sexual Abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse
  • Survivor of extreme weather tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, etc.
  • Witnessing murder or crime
  • Muggings
  • Growing up on eggs not knowing what will cause the parent to be triggered and spew anger
  • Major traumatic event (being locked up in closet, major car wreck, attacked by a dog at an early age)
  • Not loved properly, like neglect, not liked in the home – escape goat.
  • Ritual abuse
  • Incarcerated parents – sudden separation from their sole caregiver – 22% in America
  • Growing up with addicted parents or criminal parents hid from your friends afraid of being rejected
  • During child birth
  • Generational inherited iniquities and
  • many more scenarious or life experiences.

How does a spirit of fear come in?  All the above are traumatic events – dooroint to a spirit of fear – networking with rejection, unloving spirits, biterness, underlings: fear of man, fear of rejection, drivenness, unclean sirits, spirit guides, etc.  The the spirit of fear programs you to be stuck, full of fear, no peace, because he wants to Kill, Steal and Destroy.  John 10:10

Many people under stress cope in different ways:

  • Emotional eating: overeating or under eating
  • Numb out in front of a TV
  • Type A personality
  • procrastination / putting off (avoidance) – fear of failure
  • addictive or unhealthy behavior – smoke more, drink
  • distorted thinking
  • aggression on the road
  • compulsive spending
  • sleep more

What do you do when you are stressed.  If stuck in fight or flight, your body is rigid and blood vessels narrow (high blood pressure), stomock is tense (acid reflux, ulcers, etc.), heart damage.  The Leading Causes of Death in the U.S. is Heart Disease:

Over 64 million Americans have some form of cardiovascular disease.  Every 34 seconds someone in America dies of a heart attack.  –  Luke 21:26 tells us in the last days, men’s hearts will fail them because of fear.

Many other diseases: cancer, diabetes, insomnia, etc.  The Word of God says “Fear Not” 365 times.  Gen. 15:1, Deut. 20:3, Josh 8:1, Ruth 3:11, Is. 35:1, Jer. 46:27, DAn 10:19, Zech 8:13, Matt. 10:28, Luke 113, Acts: 27:24, Rev. 1:17

Question:

Am I In Control of Stress or Stress Controlling Me!  Don’t miss this week’s class.  After class, break for lunch, then a time of ministry to destroy that Spirit of Fear. Jesus did not give us a spirit of fear but of sound mind.  It is time to trust God for our circumstances Heb. 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  It is that knowing God is in control when we give it to Him.

Overcome Rejection

Armor Up Against Fear of Rejection or Withdraw!

Newsletter dated 7/10/2012

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isaiah 61:1 NKJV)

How to Deal With Rejection

How to Deal With Rejection

The most common cause of a wounded spirit or a broken heart is rejection. Rejection deeply wounds a person like a knife in the heart which is painful emotional pain.  The word rejection is defined as being cast off, pushed away, refused or unwanted by another person. In Psalm 55 we can observe that King David experienced some hurt and rejection from someone close to him.

Fear of Rejection – Overcome Rejection

Rejection comes to us through those who are closest to us such as family (mother, father siblings) or friends, husband or wife such as divorce. Satan does not play fair and takes advantage of those painful experiences by magnifying them to your heart and mind, pressuring you to believe its reflection of your identity and your worth.

Satan is a liar – dealing with rejection – Overcome Rejecstion

Satan is a liar and the father of lies in John 8:44. One strategy is recognize the lying spirit uses against people is to whisper the lie of rejection to the mind and heart. The devil knows the pain and the bondage that a spirit of rejection can bring into a person’s life if his lie is accepted as truth. The lie of rejection says: You are a ˜reject” and the evidence to prove it can be found in your memories of painful treatment by others. But the sinful actions of others toward you does not prove you are a reject, it just proves that people are sinners.

God’s Word tells you the truth: you are not rejected and you are not a reject even if a multitude of circumstances in your life seem to shout that it is true! The real truth about each of us is found in God’s Word:

He made us accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6)

God lovingly created you and designed you for a specific purpose in life. You are perfectly accepted and desired by God even if the human beings you have encountered have not treated you that way.

My question to you is who is defining you?  God’s Word as truth or people such as your parents, friends, husbands, children, etc.

God’s Word is eternal and God is ultimately your creator, husband and father.  People’s words are not eternal and are not of truth.  It is the enemy who uses the people around you to make you feel rejected when the reality you are not.  When people reject you, they are rejecting the spirit of the Lord in you.

1 Samuel 7:8 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

In the words they have not rejected you, we sense God comforting Samuel. It is as if God is saying Samuel, don’t take it personally.

Israel wanted a king.  The reason Israel wanted a king was wrong. Like all the nations.  We often get into trouble by wanting to be like the world, when we should instead be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1-2).

Jesus was rejected and sent on the cross.  What did he say?  He said, forgive them for they do not know what they do.

It is not them, those who reject you, but a spirit working in them.

Thank you for taking the time to read How to Overcome Rejection and receive peace.
