Part 2 – Spiritual Warfare Prayer the Power of Prayer
Spiritual Warfare Prayer is like throwing a time-bomb in the midst of the invisible world and the enemy scatters from you.
Many people in the cult are afraid of Christians who pray because of the power of prayer. They know in the spirit if you are a born again Christian. They know because they see a light that shines continuously like a very bright candle or a circle of light around the head or a wall or fire around Christians.
Spiritual Warfare Prayers Like Bombs – The Power of Prayer
A born again Christian is never alone. The demonic realm always an Angel by him/her. If Christians knew this, they would not meddle with sin. Sin is a loophole for the demonic realm to come in and inflict, steal, kill and destroy.
The demonic realm, when they sin on a Christian, will fight the Christians as follows:
1) Causing sicknesses
2) Causing barrenness
3) Causing lumber in the church
4) Causing confusion in the church
5) Causing likewarmness in the church
6) making them ignorant of the Word of God
7) By fashion and emulation
8) Fighting them physically
Spiritual Warfare Prayer a Pillar of Protection
The presence of the Lord is like a pillar from heaven resting on our lives. You are protected, and there is so much power inside the pillar that as they move around with you. The anointing is strong for salvation, healing for the sick because of the manifested presence of God. Do you want that in your life to be used by God for salvation, healing, deliverance, prophecy, teaching, preaching? Learn to do spiritual warfare prayer ferverently before the Lord. There is power in prayer.
After Breakthrough in spiritual warfare prayer much can happen in the kingdom of God:
- Where prayer is regularly being prayed through, the Presence comes upon that place and does not leave,
- Sinners are less resistant tot he Gospel of Christ,
- Bondage are weakened with conviction of sin,
- People sick recover because of the anointing and power of prayer.
- God hears your prayers.
If Christians would realize and use the power of prayer and authority God has given them, they would control the affairs of their nation! Only Christians can save our nation through the power of prayer.
The demonic realm hates people who can break the rock and will tempt you in all areas of your life. They know your weakness and so it is important to put on the Whole armor of God daily – It is not our Armor – especially when you go into intense prayer. When prayer breaks through like that, the answer will always come.
Messenger Angels Can Be Detained
Remember Daniel, the angel was detailed and the answer was detained because of the war in Heaven. That means what we prayed the answer is coming from “Messenger Angels” and so don’t stop praying spiritual warfare prayer otherwise your answer is detained. If you are standing for an answer, pray until you get a release regardless of how tired but believe your prayers release the messenger to deliver to you. Make sure you watch your thoughts and what comes out of your mouth.
We should learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit since He guides us in paths of righteousness. If you get wakened in the middle of the night then ask if you are to pray. If you feel impressed to fast then fast and don’t put it off. Many things move in the heavenly realm. We can make a difference in the spiritual realm to manifest on the earth – salvation, healing, deliverance, answered prayers, protection.
And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive. Matthew 21: 22
Steps to Take Before Spiritual Warfare Prayer:
Repent of Sin Before Spiritual Warfare Prayer
It is important a person repents from sin before praying spiritual warfare prayers. That means giving up repetitive sin issues. Otherwise their prayers like smoke disappear in the air and do not reach the heavens. Also, when you do not press through, your prayers like smoke disappear. It is time to walk in holiness as a warrior of the Lord.
It is important you have no unforgiveness in your heart if you want your prayers to be heard.
I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, without anger or quarreling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands. 1 Timothy 2: 8
Armor of God Spiritual Warfare Prayer
It is important to put on the “Armor of God” daily especially during spiritual warfare prayer. These are spiritual weapons that are God’s armor. when we use it, we allow God to fight on our behalf.
There is Power in Worship
Spiritual Warfare Worship. Take time to praise the Lord in thanksgiving. Thank the Lord for his goodness and reflect what he has done for you. This will make demonic spirits and agents of Satan present very uncomfortable during a time of worship. Worship is a form of spiritual warfare because worship is warfare and the enemy hates it.
Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer [life], being [both] alert and intent in [your praying] with thanksgiving. Colossians 4: 2
Colossians 4:2 – Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Praying in the Spirit
Take the time to pray in the spirit to get the Lord’s direction during spiritual warfare prayer. The demonic realm do not understand heavenly language.
Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
We are seated in Heavenly Places in Christ.
The Power of Prayer. Christians should realize where they are seated. They should know that they are operating from that height, above Satan and his agents. The Lord has given you all powers and authority just as He has given you all that pertaineth to life and goodness (2 Peter 1:3). The Word of God in the mouth of he Christians should control his circumstances.
Steps to Take After Spiritual Warfare Prayer:
Avoid Temptation of Sin
It is important to note the devil hates you and you are marked in the spirit realm and the demonic realm studies to look for your weaknesses. When weakensses are identified, the demonic forces will use people, events or something that will draw out that temptation to do those things to get your focus off God into your sin. The enemy wins as you yield to temptation to destroy authority and anointing from God.
Be sensitive to what is happening in our hearts as a leading to what needs to happen in the spirit concerning us. Remember the kingdom of darkness wants to trip the saints – shut them down.
All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26: 41
After Prayer Cover Yourselves:
After a time of prayer, ask the Lord to not lead you into temptation and not allow you to walk into the devil’s trap. Ask the Lord to protect you and not to allow you not to move in your own strength and ability. Thank the Lord in all things regardless how painful it is and watch your thoughts We need to learn to trust the Lord in everything regardless if good or painful situations. Remember Gossip is considered sin and I believe the biggest trapping for the enemy. Also watch your mouth not to murmur and complain.
The Purpose of Holiness
When satanist see Christians, they see fire on their heads and angels around them. Satanists, wizards, etc. are fearful of Christians.
A curse causeless cannot come – Prov. 26:2. That means everything described in Deut. 28:15- cannot happen unless there is a crack. God is our hedge of protection. In Ecc. 10:8 says if that hedge around us is broken, we will be attacked, bitten if you will, by a serpent (satan, a demon). When sin enters the camp, the believer loses protection from God and angels and their authority and anointing. The enemy has a legal right to inflict you with disease, fear, etc.
The Word “foothold” in Greek means “Topos” Topos means a spot – but of limited occupancy.
That means sin we are robbed of health, finances, anointing, power, etc.
Jesus was sent so that when we do sin, we can come to him and repent and be refresh from our sin.
In the Church Today
The power of prayer and discernment. There are agents of Satan in the church today. Some speak in tongues and even prophecy. Only those with the Spirit of God can discern these fellows. They come and do the following:
- To cause quarrels and confusion in the church
- To scatter the church
- to make men and women sleep while the sermon is on
- to cause distraction of various sorts when the service is on
- to win souls for Satan.
The power of prayer connects you to God to discern people around you. Never ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
