I

Qualifications: 1) been to my 2-day healing and deliverance seminar
2) willing to go through the 2-day healing and deliverance seminar.  This is an 8 week program.

Are You the Potter or the Clay?

“Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” (Jeremiah 18:3-4)

Since God is the potter and we are the clay.  The potter wants to remold the clay to be more like Him.  Are you willing to allow God to reshape you according to His will and purpose?

“O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Saith Yahweh. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand O, house of Israel” (Jer. 18:6).

This is trusting in Him during pressure represents the times of trouble that is brought to bear for the development of an appropriate vessel, fit for the master’s use.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. – Philippians 1:6

Those who resist God’s work in their lives never become what He designed for them to be. We are incapable of producing our own happiness or fulfillment.

The Psalmist said of Israel, “How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, and grieved Him in the desert. Yet again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel” (Psalm 78:40-41). God could not mold and shape them as He desired because of their rebellion.

Are you trying to control your own destiny not submitting to the destiny God has for you?  Are you trying to be like someone else?

Paul declared that God is “able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20) God has a great advantage over man in the work of molding lives for the better. God knows what is best for us because He truly knows our every need (Philippians 4:19).

Many times those pressures going on in our lives is God is making correction to the path we are on.   Are you in bondage to addictions, to sin issues?  Maybe you have an anger issue as a result of someone hurting you.  Sometimes part of being molded is deliverance through the removal of demonic spirits.  It may be to let go of the past.  Have you molded your life around what your mother or father said about you that was negative? Are you dealing with infirmity?  Jesus is the healer according to Ps. 103:2.

Who’s report are you going to believe?  What others said or God’s word who says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

We are new creatures and the old things do pass away and as we renew our mind to the truth of God’s word, then all things are becoming new.

Saul was a marred vessel as long as he resisted the power of apostolic preaching and “kicked against the goads” (Acts 9:5 – NKJV), but when he fell before Jesus and asked, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” (Acts 9:6), God remade him into a vessel of honor, “useful to the master….” (2 Timothy 2:21 – ESV).

Remember God sees the finished product.  God has the power to truly change lives through the power of the Gospel.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; – 2 Corinthians 4:7

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; – Acts 9:15

If you feel blocked, something hindering you or oppressed, isn’t it time to remove the blocks?  How about stuck in the past of past failures, past sins that haunt you.  Come and learn how to deal with the past.  Learn exactly what Jesus did on the cross for you!
