For Our Battle is Not Against Flesh and Blood
When someone accuses you, is it the flesh attacking you or a spirit working through the christian or non-christian?
Ephesians 6:10-17 “10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. 11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Not People 13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: 16 In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. 17 And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).”
Remember For Our Battle is Not Against Flesh and Blood but Satan Throws Fiery Darts
Satan throws fiery darts at us through thoughts. Thoughts that do not line up with God’s character but the opposite of God’s character.
Satan even uses other people to come against us for our battle is not against flesh and blood. They can be Christians and non christians but they come at us as accusation. We must remember that the people on the earth,though they may seem like our enemies because of the things they are doing to hurt us, are not our enemies. Satan and his fallen ones and demons are our enemy Not People. You must take your eyes off of people and their sin and look to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have to remember that our war on earth is spiritual and not flesh and Not People. We are spiritual beings in an immortable body. God is spirit and satan is a spirit and so is his army of demons.
Our war is not flesh and blood with the enemy or with others around us. We have to separate the person coming at you through accusation or other means, and separate them from their sin. Jesus died for all men.
For Our Battle is Not against Flesh and blood but Satan is the Accuser of the Brethren
You, as a person, has to recognize the character of Satan is the accuser of the brethren to accuse and when someone is accusing you, through a person, to recognize it is not them but the sin operating in them. The spirit of accusation is trying to get you to accuse back to become one with someone else’s sin. We have a choise to rise up and realize we do not wrestle with flesh and blood.
- Satan’s job is to bring separation in relationship
- Separation with Yourself
- Separation from God
Again, for our battle is not against flesh and blood but another entity working in our members. Have you ever had a conversation with someone and seen the spirit of the scrambler at work and interpret what you are trying to say differently then what you mean? Why because for our battle is not agaisnt flesh and blood. Example: An argument breaks out! It is the enemy coming at you through someone else. We are spirit beings in a mobile home (flesh) between two spirit worlds. If our thoughts are of love then from God, if our thoughts is misunderstanding and we want to accuse then the spirit of darkness or another kingdom is wanting to use you by projecting thoughts of accusation, etc.
The flesh acts like the flesh until when we decide to walk in the spirit that is opposite of the world’s way.
Satan does not want you and me to know the true character of God, but God’s Word does teach the true character of Satan. Satan wants you to choose a way of death instead of life. Choose the flesh way instead of the spirit. He wants to use you to hurt others through misunderstandings coming from the devil through projected thought.
In Galatians 5:16-25 – the Works of the Flesh List
16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
The old man of sin” in us wants to succumb to the powers of sin. This is what we mean by wrestling. We are meaning it is a one-to-one warfare.
We have to crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts.

As Jesus was hanging on the cross He cried out Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing. (Luke 23:34)Also while hanging on the cross Jesus endured ridicule from the religious leaders. People mocked saying, He saved others. Let Him save himself if he is the Christ of God. Isn’t this the same thing that the devil said to him when He was in the wilderness, ..if you are the Son of God? (Matt Chap. 4). He forgave them for they did not know they were being used by the enemy to bring Death of Jesus. Jesus knew it was the sin manifesting through them that it was not them but a spirit of sit, the flesh operating through them the people.
