Breaking generational or inherited iniquity means breaking strongholds of the mind – wrong thinking.

 

Example: sinful attitudes, prejudice and wrong values, hurts and pains from others which are learned or inherited iniquity through parents.

It could be something you put in importance over God which might be the same attitude of your father which defines this as idolatry and God hates idolatry. He made us to worship Him only.

In the old testament, and Israel’s problem and fall, ws falling into worshipping other gods to be like the world – acceptance.  The World’s jealousy of Israel because of the favor they had with God.

The big obvious sins: occultism, cults, false religions, psychics, witchcraft, satanism, secret societies, sexual sins, blood oaths, but how about more settle things such as excessive love, shopping, food (false pathway to peace when stressed), money, possessions, beauty, power, fame, rock stars, vitamins – healing and so on.

We are not to bow down or have a false pathway to peace or comfort in anything else but God.  God should be our all.

Romans 1:25 “Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever!  Amen>

Inherited Iniquity

Our ancestors worshipped or served other gods, the sin of idolatry results in curses in their hearts would be passed down to the next three or four generations – inherited iniquity.  God hates it because all these other things takes us away from our first love, Jesus Christ.  God loved us so much that He sent His son to die to save us when we did not deserve it.

Can you look to see anything in your generations or parents that was more important to have over God?  If you can say yes, then stand in the gap and repent and renounce the generational inherited iniquity is sins of iniquity.  Second question, can you see the same attitude over the same things pressuring you to sucumme!

Iniquity is a heart condition, an inner tendency of man to break God’s heart.  God created mankind for love, companionship and fellowship – under God’s terms.  He will not share us with anyone or anything else.

The fruits or evidence of iniquity:  lawlessness, wickedness, depravity, unrighteousness, and perversion.

Breaking Generational Curses Prayer (inherited Iniquity):

First, take the time to read ALL Deut. 28

Second, make sure you don’t have any bitterness towards others, self or God.  Otherwise, the prayer will not work.  We are commanded to forgive those who hurt us and pray for them.

Third say the prayer out loud:

Thank you that your blood is able to take away all sin. I believe that and receive it now in Jesus’ name.

I pray forgiveness for the sins of my father, of that bloodline for all generations back, and I ask You to wash me clean now, by the blood of the Lamb.  I pray forgiveness for the sins of my mother, of that bloodline for all generations back, and I ask You to wash me clean now, by the blood of the Lamb. I receive Your forgiveness and believe that by Your blood I am cleansed from the sins of all my generational bloodlines.

I take the authority that I have in my blood covenant with Jesus Christ, and I break all generational curses on my father’s side all generations back, broken now, by the blood of the Lamb.

I take that same authority and break all generational curses on my mother’s side, all generations back, broken now, by the blood of the Lamb.

With the same authority I have under the blood covenant of salvation in Jesus, I break any spoken curses on my family bloodline.  I also break the power of all seals of silence and all vows of secrecy. I take the same authority in the name and the blood of Jesus, and I break all covenants and contracts to Satan including blood covenant contracts.

I also pray forgiveness for the sins of my family line of all those things that have happened in darkness, such as any attachment to slavery or any kind of persecution or mistreatment or abuse of any people groups or individuals, and I pray blessings on all descendants of the persecuted groups or individuals.  I pray forgiveness for the sin of all idolatries attached to the American Indian bloodline and break all related curses.  I also break any attachments to family superstitions and idolatries, ungodly beliefs, wives tales, luck charms, and rhyme curses in Jesus’ name.

Thank you, Jesus, that Your word says, “Cursed is the one who hangs on the tree.” You took our curses, and You took our sins, so that we can have life more abundantly, and we praise you for it.

I receive by faith that now all generational sins and all generational curses are broken by the blood of the Lamb, in Jesus’ name. Amen.</p?
